Canine Country Club is a wonderful place to board your dogs. We tried other kennels, but our dogs like staying here the best. They get excited when we drop them off and are happy when we pick them up. Vickie knows all of our dogs by name and loves taking care of them.

We have been using Canine Country Club for eight years. We have to coax our dogs to come home with us after a Canine Country Club vacation with Vickie King. Sometimes I think they love her more than they love us. They receive great care and much love from everyone who cares for them at CCC. The very best! We now live in Idaho and drive 3-1/2 hours to take them there because we know they will get the very best care!

Love the owner, and the place is always inviting! My dog, who is a hyper, overactive pitbull, climbed the fence, but Vickie just put him a kennel with a top so he couldn't escape again. Definitely do not take your dog to Canine Country Club. The lady doesn’t care for the dogs individually, she just lets them all roam around throughout the day without paying attention to them individually. I had a small dog with her daily and was worried since he was super shy around other dogs. He came home every day shaking. But if you ask questions about your dog at the end of the daylight she says everything was fine and acts annoyed when you ask follow up questions. I finally just stopped taking my dog even though I had paid weeks in advance and didn’t even ask for my money back. And shocker, she didn’t message me to ask about my dog. Then the same week my sisters dog who was only TWO weeks behind in her vaccines got kennel cough. STAY AWAY!

When I was looking for a daycare for my puppy and called Idlewire, I knew they were different right away. They took time explaining to me how they do things and showed me around the facility. I could tell they took extra care to make sure the pets there have a good experience. My pup is always happy to go spend time with his friends and comes home happy too. Dixie LOVES going to Idlewire! She truly gets excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The facilities are clean and do not smell like most groomers/boarders. I appreciate the option to leave my dog all day while I’m at work for her grooming and not have to worry about rushing to get my dog immediately after she’s finished. The groomers are attentive to detail, provide a written overview of the grooming and their perception of the dogs needs or issues. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IDLEWIRE!

Idlewire has been amazing for our girls! We have been to a couple of different groomers in our lifetime and nobody has come close to Idlewire. They have the best people there. They care, and treat your pets like if it was their very own and me and my wife both respect that a lot. We have one of our Saint Bernards that is very skittish with certain people that she doesn’t recognize and whenever she comes here, she behaves and is pretty calm with them all. That tells me and my wife that they are gentle with her, and are patient with her. We love the report cards we get back for them. Tells you what you need to try and work on with them, weather it’s more combing or cleaning their ears better and suggests when they should be back. We’ve been bringing both of our Saint Bernards here for a few years now, and they have not let us down. We didn’t get their report card this last trip we just made, which was a bummer. It will normally have the groomers name and everything you need to know, so we won’t be able to list her name on here. Besides that, they were groomed beautiful as always. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Thank you to all of your amazing staff, and kindness you treat our girls.

I highly recommend! We took our 6 month golden doodle to another groomer and he got cornered and bit the groomer. We went to Idle Wire and told groomer Sarah our concerns and she was so patient and good with him being scared. Our pup had no issues and was so happy when leaving!

Brooklyn & Jackson show us how excited they are to see everyone at Idlewire Pet Care when we pull up, they both sing with excitement! Their tails wag uncontrollably and they both can't wait to give kisses to the entire staff!

I honestly cannot find the words to describe the heartbreak our family is feeling today!! We have taken our Newfie Sam to Idlewire for the last few years and then yesterday everything went very wrong. We dropped him off in the morning and he was a happy pup running around our house. We got a text just after 4 saying he’s doing good and ready to come home. Just a few mins later got another call he was having trouble breathing. My adult boys went to pick him up and he was just limp on the floor surrounded by employees and fans. His hair hadn’t been cut. We rushed him to the animal ER where they took his temperature and it was over 108. His organs were shutting down. The vet said that Sam had to have been in extreme heat throughout the day. I’m so outraged and so hurt!! There is an animal hospital right next door. They knew something was wrong and did nothing!! Our family is now missing a big piece of our heart, because something went wrong. We dropped off our sweet boy and picked up a dying dog. His eyes were bloodshot and gums were bright red. No one should have to experience this. Reading your response just makes us more upset!! I can post the payment our adult children made for a full cut!! I can also post the voicemail your staff left just after 4 pm saying he was doing great and ready to be picked up! I just spoke with my husband and your claims are false!! Sam didn’t pass away from a breathing problem. He passed away from heat stroke. A body temp of over 108 after being cooled! We will find out what happened. I requested your liability policy. No response. You have given us no choice but to get authorities involved. We dropped off a happy dog that was chasing our husky around the house the morning we brought him and picked up a dog that was barely alive. The animal ER has also noted this. You need to accept you were negligent. What happened at Idlewore ended Sams life! If it was truly a little trim you would not need to keep him for 6-7 hours. His hair was almost exactly the same as when we dropped him off. If you guys had any decency you would have picked up the phone and made the call to his vet right next door! We are required to give you their records. You knew and yet did nothing. This caused his death. I will post the voicemail, the payment, our appt reminder so that people know what happened.

Our petsitter of 15 years recently retired and we were faced with the daunting task of finding a new one. As you can imagine, finding someone new that you trust to care for your "furry and feathered friends" is pretty tough. We read the reviews, had Lauralee over for a Meet and Greet and decided she would be a great fit. She was prompt, a great communicator, well organized in our introductory meeting, during her visits and during her follow-ups. She provided a detailed recap of how the days went and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable being out of town. (She even cleared up some downed limbs in our yard from the recent storm and got introduced to the eat, chase/race and barf routine of our cats - sorry about that!) Highly recommend!

Lauralee was great. We had a meet and greet at our house where she asked all the right questions. The dogs loved her immediately. While we were gone she texted us updates and even sent pictures of our fur babies. It was so nice knowing they were being cared for we while we were away and getting playtime in the yard with her every day. We opted for 2 visits a day and she showed up each time as expected. We will definitely be calling her each time we leave the house for more than a day. Thanks Lauralee for giving us peace of mind.

Lauralee is absolutely wonderful. She stayed over night for 2 nights and 3 days. This is the first time we have ever left our big boy with a sitter. She gave us updates during her visits and a wonderful report at the end of her 3 day stay. Opie took very well to her and even slept on the bed with her. When I travel, it’s important to me that my dogs get the same level of exercise, outdoor time and care as they do when we are home. Lauralee took our two dogs for multiple daily hour long walks on their favorite trail - she is clearly very good with them. We came home to happy, healthy pups (and cat). She shared pictures as well!

Lauralee came highly recommended from our regular (but fully booked) pet sitter whose professional judgment I trust. From initial contact via email to the meet & greet at our house, Lauralee has been professional, courteous, well organized, and easy to reach and communicate with. We booked Lauralee for three midday visits last week to check in with our almost 20 year old and nearly deaf cat to give her lunch and meds while we were on day trips. Lauralee took all my crazy cat lady over-instructions in stride and followed them with great attention to detail. She provided us with prompt pictures and updates for every visit, and I felt very comfortable knowing my little grumpy fur baby was in such good hands. We will definitely use her services again!

Bradley was great! You know right away he loves animals and my dogs warmed up to him right away. I will let him watch my dogs anytime. Great communication made me feel comfortable while on vacation. I didn't worry about anything and was able to relax knowing my dogs were well taken care of.

He had no problem dealing with our cat's medical dietary needs, and went above and beyond to help us feel good about going out of town. Our cats got to stay home with minimized stress, and they were well-loved and taken care of.

Amazing!!! Robert and his team at Away Home Pet Sitting are fantastic! We have lived in seven different states across the US and have had a lot of wonderful pet sitter’s, Away Home outshine them all. The love and care that our dogs are given is priceless. They offer several different scheduling options so we can rest assure our dogs are visited at the times we need Away Home. After each visit we receive photos and very detailed updates about each pet and our home. We love Robert and his team and highly recommend them and so would Stella, Otis and Bertha!!!

I love Away Home & Pet Care! I've used them multiple times and every time they have been exceptional. Each day they give me updates on how my kitty is doing with pictures and a message. Me and my family find them to be heart-warming, comforting and sometimes funny. My kitty is very scared of most other people, and she has warmed up to Robert, even letting him give her belly rubs while purring. It's nice to know that she has somebody that is so kind to give her some loving attention and provide for her needs while I'm away.

I brought my dogs to Utah this past February. Away Home Pet Care walked them for me. Not only did they take good care of my dogs, they were very easy to work with. I love the app they use. It was easy to schedule and pay and I loved the report I got after the walks were complete. I highly recommend Robert and his team!

I would give Away Home & Pet Care of Utah 10 stars if I could. Robert is phenomenal! He took care of my two cats like they were his own when I had to travel on business. My kitties were treated with care, love and respect with visits twice a day, everyday to be fed and to get their head rubs in. We also had Away Home come by to check on our home during the winter. Robert checked on the house weekly and sent pictures of the interior giving us peace of mind that all was well during the six months we were gone. So impressed with the services this company provides. A BIG thumbs up!

Wow! We've never used a pet sitter before and were a little nervous trusting our cat to a stranger but also knew we didn't want to board her since she hates it. We spent our time researching options in the Ogden area and were drawn to the reviews and professional looking website for Away Home & Pet Care and decided to book with them. Great choice! The meet and greet went smoothly and we immediately felt at ease with Robert and knew our cat would be in good hands. During our trip we got daily updates (including pictures) and it really let us relax and enjoy our trip knowing everything was well at home. Our cat is not the most social and we really appreciated Robert letting her go at her own pace. The app worked great even overseas and scheduling was a breeze. Will absolutely use them again for future trips!

If you are looking for a company for people who are professional and care about animals, you have come to the right place. If I could give Robert and his team more than 5 stars I would!! We were gone for a week on vacation and I couldn't have asked for a better team to come out and watch my cat. This was our first time gone from our cat for a long period of time so we were pretty anxious at the start of our trip, but Robert put our mind at ease! Robert and his team love your animal just like it is their own. They would cuddle, play with, and feed our cat while we were gone. One of our favorite things during our time away was the check ins we got. Every time they visit they give a full report on how our boy was doing, eating, energy level, etc.

We were able to have a wonderful vacation because of Away Home & Pet Care! We loved the updates, photos but mostly the care of our dogs as if they were their own! I never worried once (and leaving my dogs is really hard for me!). I can't recommend them enough and can't express enough how great they are. I was also grateful for all the little things like bringing in packages, checking the house, etc., but again, the best was never having to worry about my fur babies!

Team Robert is wonderful and my two cats agree completely. Whenever we need to travel or attend conferences, we are relieved knowing that our pets are well cared for and that the house is also safe and secure. The daily reports and pictures are fun and terrific, and I know that someone responsible is onsite to notice and inform us if anything goes amiss. I highly recommend using Heidi’s boarding services. I have a very nervous Catahoula that had never been boarded before. Heidi took such great care of her and was patient while she adjusted to her new environment. I received text updates and pictures to ease the stress about my fur baby. This is the second time using this service and noticed after picking my dog up, she had two bit marks. One above the eye and the second below the jaw, which appears to be a bit mark as the skin was broken and scabbed over before picking her up. At the time, we didn't notice it when picking her up due to her black color fur. Ms. Abby is a sweet lady who loves dogs and isn't always shared information by the owners about the dogs taken in. As this may not be her fault as dogs will be dogs, she never mentioned anything about a possible incident, so the dogs weren't supervised or failed to shared information. We were hoping things would have worked out, but feel that the safety of my dog is important and will seek other boarding locations.

We took our 2 year old Berner to Abby’s for an overnight stay for the first time this past weekend and our experience was wonderful! Abby is so kind and you can tell she loves animals, especially dogs, so much. She sent us pictures of our Rosie and let us know how she was doing. Rosie seemed happy and well cared for when I came to pick her up. We were so nervous to leave her but she did so well. We will be using Abby’s Dog House again!

We were going out of town for work we didn't want to leave our pit rot mix with just anyone when isn't socialized a lot with pups her size, so we were nervous. When Tina met everyone she was timid & nervous around them, then here comes Abby like the damn hero she is & took our babe with love & was very very patient with her to gain Tina's trust & the rest is history!! Our dog Tina was beyond excited & had tons of fun playing with other furr friends & gave Abby LOTS & LOTS OF KISSES before we left. Abby is one amazing woman & has our full support & a forever customer & a new friend. Hands down the best doggy daycare out there! Abby’s is truly our favorite boarding / day care in Utah. She cares for each animal so deeply and it shows in everything she does. Our doggo looks forward to his time at Abby’s and cannot stop wagging his tail when we gets there and nearly jumps for joy when he sees Abby herself.

We have been brining our dog to Abby's for 2 years now. We have absolutely loved bringing Odie and he LOVED going (he gets excited as soon as we turn down her road). She is so flexible and we can tell that she really loves Odie just as we do, and that means everything when looking for a doggy daycare! I will miss our chats and knowing we can bring our pup somewhere we trust. Only reason we are leaving is because we are moving out of state. I can't recommend Abby enough!

Abby's boarding facility is a relief from so many others, she genuinely cares about the dogs and really connects with each one! My dog, Esther, usually struggles to eat her food on a normal day but even more so when we need to board her. Abby had Esther eating every meal each day that she was there. When I picked her up, Esther was well behaved and looked just like when I'd dropped her off. Abbys is a great place for boarding or even if your dog just needs a little energy release.

Megan was so incredible and took such great care of our dog while we were away! I think our dog is going to be disappointed we’re home since he had so much fun while we were gone.

We just got home from today. In the past, we have managed our dogs in various ways...sometimes Lauryn has taken Harli and Bear, but she and Brad were not an option this year. BUT...she did, thru one of her friends, connect us with Megan Smock and Happy Hearts Home and Pet Sitting. Megan has been awesome. Hazel and Harli have been able to stay home where they are comfortable and happy. Megan has been coming to walk, play and spend time (60 minutes) twice during the day and then spending the night. They stayed on their regular schedule in their space. When we got home today they were certainly glad to see us but they were not stressed or crazy like they have been in the past with the many different options we have tried. Megan, Happy Hearts Home and Pet Sitting certainly gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from Harli, Hazel and the rest of the Tometich family!

Megan watched my 3 babies for a week while we were out of town. She did an amazing job as I know puppies can be difficult. Every visit and sleepover she would send a picture of each of my pets along with an update on how everyone is doing. My senior dog got sick and Megan did such a great job cleaning up her accidents, I wouldn’t have even known they had happened if she didn’t tell me about it. Megan is amazing! I recently moved back to Utah and needed a pet sitter for Thanksgiving on short notice for my two cats and hamster. I was gone for 4 days and Megan came to meet me and the animals prior to me leaving. She was great with their feeding/cleaning instructions and gave me updates of her visit with them through the app. I’m so glad I found her and she allowed me to have a relaxing worry-free trip.
