I absolutely loved my time in Jackie’s peaceful and tranquil home, close to the city and far enough away to unwind. I adore Apollo, he is the absolute sweetest boy! A true gentle giant. He just wants to be next to you and is the definition of a “good boy”. He loved getting pets and all the attention. He’s the perfect lazy companion. We had a few sunny days and we would sit out back on the back patio. He loved it and I loved it even more! It’s like an oasis. The upstairs loft area was amazing and so comfortable. The guest bathroom and small kitchen area was perfect. I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. This was my first housesit using this app and it was such a great experience! You will love Apollo and if you’re lucky enough to spend time with him, definitely do it!
We had a wonderful time with Tikka, a high-spirited but chill lab who we bonded with instantly. She is an affectionate, people-lovin’ pup who is game for as many walks as she can get. There is a large field where she normally walks, but a park is within easy driving distance. After all her exercise, Tikka slept soundly with us every night and didn’t even hog the bed! Karen made the sit easy...from her clear instructions for care and meds for Tikka’s recent injury, to her exceptional generosity and friendly communication. Her home is comfortable and beautiful in a very peaceful, interesting area chockerblock full of yachts and boats, with the bonus of Mount Baker looming in the distance. Such a relaxing spot! From the very start, we felt much appreciated, a feeling we reciprocate. It would be a pleasure and a privilege to return...but if we can’t, you definitely should apply.
Consider yourself super lucky if you get a chance to meet Leyla in person and stay in her lovely place with the most well-behaved cats ever! Everything about this sit deserves more than five stars :) The location & the view from the living room was excellent but I would pet-sit for Leyla wherever she goes next with her taste in creating a home and with her two amazingly sweet cats. Thanks for everything!
Charlene and Jason were very communicative, their home is lovely, and the location is ideal. Miso and Kobe were the absolute sweetest! Would happily sit for them again. 😊
I had so much fun taking care of Pip for Matt and Andi. She is a very loving, sweet girl and is easy to care for. She likes gentle slow walks with a lot of sniffing and warm cuddles. Matt and Andi are wonderful hosts, kind and thoughtful. Their home is beautiful, spacious and in a great location for exploring all the best of Marin County, I love this area. There is so much hiking near their home and easy, close access to Mt Tam, local beaches and San Francisco. There are great restaurants and coffee shops nearby and so much to do and explore. I would definitely sit for Pip again in a heartbeat.
Shirley is a great mom to Romeo and left great instructions for his care. I enjoyed my snuggling with Romeo and the enthusiasm that he had for playing. Location and house is as described. I very much enjoyed the opportunity to explore the Laguna Woods community. I would not hesitate to recommend this sit to anyone considering to do so.
