Kimberly and I finally managed to arrange a sit for my house and two cats after trying a few times without luck. She was worth waiting for. She is calm and pleasant. It was clear that she really cared about the animals, and she took great care of the house. She was conscientious with the supplement that my old lady cat needs each morning. My only complaint is that she didn’t communicate much. To be fair, I didn’t set any expectations for messages or photos, and, whenever I checked in, she sent perfect responses. I was 100% certain that I had no need to worry about anything. It is easy to recommend Kimberly for your house and pet sitting needs.
Jehan was communicative and kind. Her apartment is nice and in a good location. Rennie is very sweet and can be a little shy. He has a lot of energy and needs a good amount of attention and exercise. He does need direction to stay on course while walking; he likes to try and do his own thing. I am grateful for Jehan’s hospitality and to have met Rennie. All in all, a great sit!
Let me start by saying...this is an amazing family! A beautiful, clean and organized home done by great hosts. A great area with lots to do. I got there early to learn the daily routine. Hurricane Ian changed their plans. However they invited me to stay, my 1st hurricane experience, I'm extremely grateful! I helped a bit w/preparation & they made me feel welcomed like a loving relative. They took me on a very extensive tour & out to eat w/wonderful stories. Jake is a real sweetheart. He will happily take his medication & easy to feed. By the end of the day he will have you're heart. Timmy is a total crack up! Just wait you'll see. If I were better with words I would go on & on. If you're lucky enough to get chosen to have the opportunity of taking care of them you will see how blessed you are.
Watching Lola and Lulu was really nice. They're very easy, sweet animals with just a bit of arthritis medication, and Fiona and Paul's home is very comfortable and beautiful. I highly recommend this sit. This is not an active dog sit though as it's now of a plodding walk -- unless she sees a fox! And then she can really move!
Grażyna and Neil's home is the ideal location for a relaxing stay with a lovely modern, clean home and gorgeous rural views (including the Snowy Mountains). Bear is the young (10 month old), handsome, energetic boy of the house. Bear is your typical high energy young German Shepherd pup. A lovely soul with not a bad bone in his body. He is always up for a good run with his toys, especially the ball thrower. He was still learning basic obedience whilst I was housesitting and a fair but firm manner is required. Grażyna and Neil's communication with me was excellent in the lead up and during my stay. Even with a couple of unforseen changes - it was a pleasure to keep Bear company and look after their home. Grażyna and Neil are a lovely couple and it was nice to get to know them. I hope I can sit for them again in the future and visit Bear. I would recommend staying here.
Tiger is so wonderful! So spunky and just wants to be around you and will happily spin nonstop when its walk time. He has a big personality and you just don't want to leave him. Elizabeth was just as wonderful. Very easy to communicate with and welcomed me warmly into her beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. It's a great location for exploring all of Portland. Would highly recommend this sit.
Elli was incredible making me at ease and leaving all thr information for the perfect sit. Jack and Jacob are very sweet even if different personalites. Ideal for someone looking for a good time in the countryside
