Heidi is hands-down our house-sitter hero! After a busy month of traveling, coming home to our apartment felt like an angel had been staying there. Not only is Heidi a dog's dream-sitter: from taking generous park walks, beach visits and playing games at home with him... our little dog seemed to genuinely be a happier ‘person’ from hanging out with her. Her sweet messages and photo updates kept our minds at peace while we were away, and her easy going yet dedicated and positive attitude were enough for us to trust her as soon as we met. She took such good care of our home - it really felt like we’d had a resident mama when we returned to a super sparkly place, fresh flowers and a very relaxed pup. Heidi is a top notch pup and home care taker and we’d highly recommend she come take care of your home and fury babies when you go away.

Note: due to unknown reasons, the original feedback which was read by the owner and sitters was erased from this website and TrustedHousesitters IT department was unable to retrieve it. Therefore, we are re-writing it ~5 months later. DeeDee’s house is charming, comfortable and close to town. Her 2 pooches, Annie and Domino were a pleasure to sit for. Towards the end of a 2 week sit, Domino became physically aggressive towards Annie. After separating them we contacted DeeDee and suggested a British product (Rescue Remedy) that was known to us and could relieve Domino’s aggression. DeeDee agreed to it, we followed the dosing instructions and the aggressive behavior subsided. A few months after our sit was over, DeeDee let us know that due to our (original) posting re Domino’s aggression, she lost a few sitters, so she took action and enrolled him in a behavior modification training course, which as per DeeDee was making a positive difference in Domino. Even with this occurrence, we would definitely sit at DeeDee’s again.
It was truly a pleasure to sit for King in Baltimore. Alexis was warm and welcoming from the start and left clear directions for King and the space. I cannot say enough about King! He is a very special being- so loving, so easy going. Alexis has done an incredible job training him and it shows. He is well behaved and a joy to walk on a leash. You will probably fall in love with him like I did. The location is fantastic- right on “The Avenue” in the artsy neighborhood of Hampden. Organic market right nearby. The cute one bedroom apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay including a great bed. I highly recommend this sit if you want to be with an amazing doggie in a great neighborhood.
Donna and her husband Gary were so amazing! They made me dinner the day before my sit and took me out to dinner on my last day which was so sweet of them. I enjoyed listening to all their travel stories as well! Gandalf and Lindy were so easy and fun to sit. Gandalf was a bit shy in the beginning but once he got comfortable with me, he loved laying on my lap while I would watch TV. He was also my alarm everyday at 6am (she meowed at me until I would feed her lol). Lindy is an older dog so she would just sleep if she was inside the house, she was very easy to take care of. I enjoyed our evening walks around the neighborhood. Thank you again Donna and Gary!
Alba and Bella are such gorgeous cats! They need a good few days to get used to you so don't be alarmed if you can't find them. When they are more comfortable with you they are hilarious and absolute loves. The automatic feeders made things so easy as well. I loved Russell & Jay's place! I thought it was artistic & full of character. Easy transport links into town, and the guys were great at supplying all the info needed, and were really friendly. Highly recommend :) Thanks guys x
I fell in love with Tezca and Pixel. They were so sweet and easy and well behaved. Maria and Ari gave me excellent directions for both getting around and caring for the puppies and their home. Their home is in a perfect spot and I am now also in love with Turin. Thank you for this great experience. I hope to see you all again one day. ❤️
