I really enjoyed meeting Susan and didgeridoo. Susan‘s home is beautiful very clean and has all the amenities you could possibly need. Didgeridoo is very affectionate and easy to experience. The area is gorgeous. There are paved trails for miles and an impressive, fenced dog park for residence stocked with toys and water. Susan is very generous and social. I highly recommend this sit!
Minnie is a sweet young cat who is very playful and inquisitive. She will happily explore any bags you've brought with you and play with your feet under beds and couches and doors. She likes to play in the morning and evening after eating before settling down again. Minnie may take a day or so to warm up to you but she is completely loveable and adorable. Jessica's place is ideally situated in the heart of Victoria's tourist section. Ten minutes' walk to Fisherman's Wharf in one direction, ten minutes' walk to the harbour in another and about 15 minutes' walk to the fabulous Beacon Hill Park, with museum and legislature building on your route. Groceries are also within about 10 minutes to walk, all in all a very central location in an old and leafy part of Victoria. A great sit, I would love to do it again.
Milo was a delight and so easy to look after. He is very well behaved and we had some lovely walks along the river to the Cathedral & the Meadows… Milo’s very friendly, he loves a cuddle, playing & tug with his toys. He got on very well with our own dog. We really enjoyed our stay with Milo in Sharon’s very comfortable home. We would be happy to sit for Milo again. Would highly recommend this sit.
We loved house-sitting with Oakley & Respy! They are the cutest, lovable, and silliest dogs. If you want to be cuddled and feel loved by two massive dogs, this is the best sit for you! It is an easy and fun time taking care of them. This Mountain Top home is a rejuvenating place to stay. Waking up to the mountain views and being able to see the sun rise and set every day is the best experience. We loved going for trail adventures with the dogs, and then going into the hot tub while the sun was setting. Nick and his wife are lovely & friendly people who are easy to talk to. Very responsive and helpful. Loved every bit of this experience!
This was a wonderful sit in beautiful St. Augustine. Mary and her husband David were so kind and welcoming during our meet and greet and left great instructions for the care of their pets. Cassie and puppy Jet are the cutest Scottie terriers imaginable, and Cupid the Quaker parrot was really lovely. The house is situated overlooking a canal and about a 10 minute walk from the beach, about 25 minutes away from the busy little downtown/old town area. If you haven’t been to St. Augustine, it is a must see and this is the perfect location to do it from! Thank you Mary and David for a wonderful visit!
I had a great time pet sitting for Dave and Natalie. I arrived a bit in advance of my sit, and Dave and Natalie gave me helpful and relevant information for a successful sit (i.e., how to run the generator, good places to walk the dog, where to buy groceries). Their home is beautiful and peaceful; and it sits on a hill ridge, so you see Brewer's Bay on one side and Cane Garden Bay on the other (both beaches were just a few minutes drive from the home). Bertie barked at me when I first arrived but once I took him on his first walk he warmed up to me, and soon we were buddies. He is very sweet. I loved Esme, the little calico, who was just the sweetest little cuddler. Figaro was not around for the first few weeks of my fit, but he came around the last few days and I found him to be smart and affectionate. Though my sit coincided with a high COVID spike, I had a great time, the island is beautiful, people are friendly, the pets were just lovely, and the home was stunning. Thanks Natalie and Dave for a wonderful sit! I miss Bertie and Esme and Figgie <3
