J
Jan is an exceptionally gracious host, and what a wonderful home she has! Her lovely bungalow is situated a short walk from Palo Alto’s core, with easy access to a wide range of fantastic shops and restaurants, as well as my favorite coffee bar in the Bay Area. Her neighborhood is made for strolling, which makes it ideal to walk little Xander around. Jan is such a caring and considerate host, wow. She bent over backwards to make sure our sit would be smooth and comfortable, and even let her neighbors know we would be there and had them available to help us if we needed anything. But of course we didn’t need a thing because she had seen to that — her house is warm and comfortable and filled with beautiful art and interesting books, and she even made drawers and closet space available for us. To seal the deal she invited us to spend time with her and Xander prior to the sit so we had an opportunity to get to know them both, and that was just wonderful.

Dear Xander is the star of the sit, and wow is he adorable! He’s two and has energy to burn, and is easily the smartest, most attentive dog we’ve ever met. Pretty sure he can read minds. He took us on great walks and LOVES to play fetch the frisbee in the basement. A short time after Jan left on her trip Xander was sharing his toys with us, snuggling on the sofa, and even getting in bed with us at night! We had a wonderful time there with Xander, and getting to know Jan. They’re now part of our extended family, and we can’t wait to come back and sit for Xander again.

Jennifer
A thoroughly enjoyable housesit with Duende and Micah as there was nothing to fault from the earliest communication with Jennifer and Jon. Everything was beautifully explained initially by email and then on arrival at their lovely home.

The stars of the sit were Duende and Micah, both very different personalities but equally easy to be with. The very large terrace was a great outdoor space for them both to feel safe and secure - I was very lucky with Granada weather considering there was snow on the nearby Sierra Nevadas.

Duende's 2x daily outings around the Albaicin tranquil lanes were ideal for his short walks whilst giving Micah some respite at home from Duende's ball chasing hobby. Micah is a shy cat but would occasionally join me when Duende had his siesta time.

There is certainly lots to see and do in Granada but I was more than happy to spend most of my time within the sanctuary of their home.

Would thoroughly recommend this housesit.

We had a fantastic time with Suky and Molly - these are some easy-going but seriously affectionate dogs, they cannot get enough cuddles!
Simon and Jenny were very warm and extremely thoughtful, making an effort to settle us in when we arrived, providing lots of information about the house/area and staying in contact during their time away.
The cottage is really well set-up and cosy with beautiful views of the expansive garden and the fields beyond. Location was lovely - beautiful rolling hills where you can take the dogs walking and sometimes see local wildlife and there are a number of picturesque villages and historic places nearby. We definitely would recommend this house sit!

Wonderful peaceful house up near the mountain, close to Albuquerque, great retreat! The kitties were sweet, adventurous & playful. Boogie took awhile to warm up to me, but they always came back at night. Sandia mountains are super nice, lots of great hikes & caves, plus a running creek to visit!

Ray
I absolutely loved house sitting for Ray and Maria and taking care of sweet Oli for the week! They left excellent instructions and helpful info and also gave me suggestions for the area, which is such a cute spot in Denver. Oli was a cutie, very easy and we did lots of park time which he loved. They were a pleasure to sit for!

Allie
Allie has a wonderful home in a quiet and safe neighborhood, a quick drive away from anywhere in central Austin. Austin experienced a freeze prior to the time of my sit, causing power outages throughout the city. This forced Allie and her family to have to leave for their trip earlier than expected. They ended up bringing Peyton and Remi with them due to the unexpected circumstances, but were extremely accommodating and flexible as my House & Pet sit changed to just a House sit. Allie is one of the kindest and most welcoming hosts you could hope to sit for, and I would highly recommend sitting for them in Austin.
