Claudia was a brilliant sitter. She clearly loves animals and they quickly loved her back. She went out of her way to spend time with them, and give them cuddles. She was fantastic with our very anxious Labrador and she gave him lots of reassurance and enjoyed taking him for walks and spending time with him. While she was with us, we had two very nervous foster kittens and she worked hard to help them relax and come out of their shells. She was very respectful of our home and you wouldn’t have known that she had been here as everything was tidy and clean. Claudia is also very good company and we enjoyed spending an evening with her when she arrived. We are pleased that she has agreed to come back and do another sit with us soon. I would unreservedly recommend Claudia to anyone who needs a sitter.
Derek and Pam were wonderful house and pet-sitters. I could not have asked for a nicer, more caring couple to take care of my beloved Elvis and Tina, and my much-loved home. We communicated regularly before the sit began, and Derek and Pam came a day early to have dinner with me and the kitties – this was really nice because it allowed Elvis and Tina time to get to know them with me there, and it gave us time to enjoy a relaxed dinner. Elvis and Tina took to them right away, so I knew they would be in good care. While I was away I was spoiled with videos and photos every day – it made me really happy to see how happy my kitties were. Communication about other things was excellent – post, deliveries, etc, and their judgement about when to ask me something was spot on. It was also nice to hear a bit about how they were enjoying my home and beautiful Salisbury, Stonehenge and Wiltshire. It made me happy that they were having a good time while taking care of my kitties. I arrived home to a warm welcome because Derek and Pam had delayed their departure just to be able to welcome me back. So kind. They had left my home spotless – everything was clean and well-cared for, including clean sheets back on the bed and the wood-burner fireplace thoroughly cleaned of its ashes. It was really nice to come back to a clean home and happy cats. I very much hope Derek and Pam can come back to Yew Tree Cottage to house and pet sit again – I know Elvis and Tina would welcome them with big purrs and a few zoomies. Thank you, Derek and Pam!
