I truly enjoyed this sit and found Beth to be incredibly communicative and accommodating. In addition to the initial call to agree that I was suitable for this engagement, and because it was agreed upon far in advance, Beth was in regular communication, including an agreed upon arrival prior to her departure so that she could give me the tour of the house and share other items that I would need to know while there, even providing contact information for a friend/neighbor, should I need anything while there. It didn't take long for Bowie and Oakley to warm up to a stranger in the house, and once they did they were never too far away. The house was very well located, making it easy to get anywhere I was interested in going, including hiking trails and Red Rocks Ampitheatre. All said, if my schedule aligned, I would not hesitate to make a return visit.
Taking care of Emmy was a dream! She's the sweetest company, loves kitty conversations, sunning in the garden and deep dreamy naps. I miss her already!! ❤️ Kim and the whole family are such beautiful people: the kindest and most welcoming and helpful humans! 🥰 Kim and Rich's home will bring you much peace. I loved how Detwiler's farmer's market was a few minutes away: the best grocery store!! And of course, I also looooved biking to the beach and enjoying the stunning turquoise waters!! 🐚🐠💙 I had a wonderful time!! 🥳🏆
Housesitting for Felicity and Derek was an absolute pleasure. Blue and Elfie are such loving, wonderful dogs, who both love to cuddle and explore the beautiful landscape on walks and hikes. Felicity and Derek provided me with a thorough guidebook and a virtual tour of their gorgeous, comfortable home. The views were breathtaking (we were especially fortunate to be there during the fireworks and had the best seats in the house!). There is so much beauty to explore within the Parksville area and the dogs are so easy and gentle on leash, it makes exploring extra fun! Both Felicity and Derek are personable and kind. They were happy to answer any questions and while they were travelling abroad, they still took the time to reply to text messages and photo's I sent of Blue and Elfie. I would housesit for Felicity and Derek in a heartbeat, and am happy to say I will be again in less than two weeks!
This is a great housesit! Trish and Kyle are lovely and make you feel comfortable the minute you meet them. Sadie is a gorgeous cat who rules the roost. We had a wonderful time with Shadow and Louie. They have personality galore! We spent 13 days in Julie and Paul’s lovely home and it was a totally positive experience. Communication was great with all information clearly written down as well as explained in person. The house is lovely and the location fantastic. Such a great base to explore the Sunshine Coast and hinterland. The area where the house itself is has loads of great footpaths and pleasant suburban streets and parks which made dog walks easy. A fabulous experience! We definitely recommend sitting for Shadow and Louie if you get the chance.
Our first experience on the platform couldn't have been better. Deborah and Rob are very nice and gave us all the facilities. Also their house is very cozy, we felt like in our own home. We really enjoyed taking care of all their babies. Sancho and Luna are very affectionate, we enjoyed playing and petting them. The cats are also very affectionate, especially Agata and Florence, Tinkerbelle is more shy and independent. All of them are very sweet, And Tommy, the tortoise, is very quiet. We already miss them very much, hopefully we'll see each other again soon :)
