Such a wonderful house sit, I loved every minute. Courtney and Caleb are a delightful couple and made me feel very welcome, communication was excellent and everything clearly explained. The house is in a great spot right in town, across the road from the beach and a short walk to the lake. Willow is an absolute heart melter with her gentle nature and the best puppy dog eyes ever. She kept me company the whole time with endless cuddles and made me laugh out loud with her big grins. Evie is gorgeous fluff ball, so regal and graceful. She eventually honoured me with her company and allowed me to give her scratch. Many thanks Courtney and Caleb for the opportunity to house sit your beautiful fur babies.
It was a pleasure to housesit for Frances and Chris! They made us feel very welcome and were always one text away when we needed them. Their house is spacious, and has a beautiful garden! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and is just a short walk to the supermarkets, cinema, shops and restaurants. Now the most important part of the sit: Iggy! He is the sweetest little fella ever. He enjoyed our company and slept with us. He chats a lot and loves some cuddles. He doesn’t have a litter box because he goes out as he pleases, and he eats twice a day. It’s very easy to care for him. We totally recommend this sit and would love to sit again!
We thank Karen and Karl for choosing us to housesit their great cats and beautiful house in a great area of Cuenca, Karen organized the housesit early to allow for lots of time to plan. Karen kept in touch with us before the housesit and allowed us to come a day ahead of the sit to meet, to allow us time to meet the cats and to get to know our duties. Everything was well organized and Karen and Karl gave us Dinner and Breakfast next morning. Thank you. The three cats were very easy to take care of during our housesit and everything worked out great. Sonas and Shiva are a truly delightful pair to sit! Gill's home is just steps away from a small and pretty park and the canal path. The girls know their walking route and are well trained. Shiva is lightening fast when she runs laps around the park and many people will watch her in awe. At home, Sonas and Shiva are very calm, love to cuddle and hang out. Gill is very kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. We walked the girls together when I first arrived which was a great help in getting to know them and the neighbourhood. The house location is very central and well connected to public transportation, making it easy to explore Dublin. I had a lovely experience and can recommend sitting Sonas and Shiva any time!
I really enjoyed house/catsitting for Rebecca. Kefir is a very laidback and friendly cat. I bonded with her very quickly. Somerville is a perfect location to explore Boston area and transportation is available until late at night. Will definitely house and catsit for Rebecca again!
Wonderful couple, wonderful cats, wonderful home, wonderful town! Pet sit perfection. That's our review in 10 words or less, now here's the nitty gritty on things: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kincardine with Momo and Bibi. Having looked after Bengals in the past, I was very excited for my two daughters to experience the dog-like play quality of a similar cat breed. Momo did not disappoint. His affection in the morning was literally off the charts! As soon as we woke up we were greeted with loud motor-like purrs and continuous leg bumps and rubs. This was Momo 'revving up his engine' in preparation for his day, clearly, and we were left smiling from ear to ear at his antics. By contrast, Bibi was the picture of calm, overseeing her kingdom from above and coming down for affection and treats. Her unique meow and chit chat was infectious, and we still smile each time we think of the very tidy, statue-like way that Bibi sits, tail coiled perfectly -- and I do mean perfectly -- round her legs. For us, this sit was always going to be about its feline residents: Momo and Bibi. Having said this, Angela and Arjan own an absolutely lovely home in a beautiful, tranquil setting that backs onto the river. We quickly lost count of the number of cardinals that visited the backyard bird feeders each day, and with the snowy backdrop that is a Canadian winter, it really was picture-postcard perfect. Location-wise: the house is a hop, skip and jump (2 minute walk) from both the lake and a series of meandering woodland trails, as well as the town itself. Shifting inside: I constantly found myself amazed at how organized and intuitive everything was in the house, and especially in Angela and Arjan's kitchen. It's always a bonus when you walk away from a house or pet sit with ideas for 'must-have' kitchen items and utensils and/or 'must-do' storage and organizational solutions. Communication with the owners was top-notch throughout and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. Thank you so much for inviting us to care for Momo and Bibi. We loved every minute!
