A thoroughly enjoyable sit. Marvin is a bundle of energy and fun and I loved taking him on long walks down by the sea. Izzi is more of an elderly lady and needed gentle TLC - a very sweet dog. Elaine has a lovely home and although we didn't get to meet in person, she left clear instructions and had a friend on hand to show me around. She very kindly and generously suggested that I could use her rainwear if needs be and communication was easy and friendly. I'd highly recommend this sit.
We really enjoyed our stay at Paulo and Amanda’s lovely home in their quiet, safe neighborhood. Bentonville is a vibrant town with lots to see and do, it offers some great restaurants too. Communication with Amanda was easy, the home was clean, comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for any cooking or baking you might want to do. They have a large yard, unfortunately the pool wasn’t available during the early spring but we could imagine how nice it would be. There were a lot of birds to watch and we enjoyed walking around the beautiful neighborhood too. Then there was the star of the sit - Miss Ruby; she was a treat to care for, very smart, responsive to commands and well behaved. She also had a very big personality for a little dog. It was hard to say goodbye to her. Hopefully it was only so long, because we certainly wouldn’t hesitate to sit for Ruby again!
We visited Fiona before the house sit, and took to their friendly doggles straight away. The family home is spacious, and wonderfully clean. Like 5* superior. There were several seating areas to relax in while enjoying the dogs company. Our bedroom had its own on-suite and it looked out over wonderful grassy meadows. The location was rural but so close to the local village with all its history to be seen in the architecture. Fiona's instructions were spot on and additional information was left on the counter. There are several walks straight from the house that lead through the woods and rolling meadows. Mr Whippy and Ticker were a pleasure to go on walks with, both with such different characters. It was a pleasure to spend time at the house and enjoying the company of the pets in the well maintained garden. Hopefully we will return to do another sit for the family in the future.
Stacy and Greg were the perfect hosts. I only actually met Stacy, but Greg was on the text group we had, so I communicated with him as well. Using Navigation to get to their house was a little bit of a challenge, but nothing major. EVERYTHING else about the sit was perfect. Stacy let me come a couple days early, because she wanted me to meet the beautiful Golden Retriever Sona before the day they actually were leaving. The townhouse was super clean, beautifully decorated, a lot of natural light with an upstairs loft that had a large desk … perfect for remote working! Sona was THE BEST!! She liked to go for walks, ride in the car, snuggle if it got cold … I absolutely loved her! The complex was safe and we would frequently walk at night. She didn’t pull on the leash, she literally was the perfect dog. Now that I live in Florida, I’m actually thinking of asking who her breeder was, because Sona was THAT perfect … and she takes great pictures as well! Stacy and Greg - it would be my honor to watch her for you anytime. 😊 Call me!
Riley and Lulu are very chill dogs. We would off-leash walk them along the river and always stop for a swim. Both have good recall and are very gentle girls. Quinn the rabbit loved scratches and some fresh veggies. Rod and Thea are very hospitable and great with communication. The instructions on the pets and home were precise and easy. The home is extremely comfortable, very private backyard with a tremendous view, pool and hot tub. Very much like staying in a private resort. We hope to sit again for them and no sitter should pass on this home. Thank you Rod and Thea.
We had such a wonderful time pet sitting Mischa in Manchester! She is just the sweetest cat! We thoroughly enjoyed playing with her, watching tv together, and giving her belly rubs! Mischa is such a friendly and playful cat and one of our favorite house sits thus far! In addition, the hosts were so communicative, helpful, and accommodating and made everything about our stay amazing! 100% recommend!
