Mariela and Dobrin were welcoming and flexible, it was great meeting up with them before the sit, and every update or question we sent was met with quick answers :)!✨ Their little dog Freja and Kasper the hamster were a delight! 🌸 Let me start with Kasper, as there’s little to say, and it’s all good! What a goofy and kind souled hamster..! We’ve had quite a few ourselves growing up, and we never met one quite as chill as Kasper 💕 taking care of him was also a breeze, and while Freja and him don’t (and shouldn’t) interact, there was no issues between them; Freja loves sitting by the cage and they’re both adorable 💕🌸✨ Freja loves her soup, home cooked, and raw meals, we also had the job to give her some meds on the first days of our sit, and she took them like a champ! It was so good seeing her get better :)✨ There are a few things that I wish we knew sooner, but I also believe the owners simply didn’t know any better..! Freja is a well behaved puppy, she accepts her daily brushings, knows how to wait patiently while we prepare her food, and is pretty easy to walk; but (when we went to a leash-less dog park) we quickly realized that Freja does NOT respond to her name when outside, and so it’s important for sitters to always keep her on the leash! Just like it’s important to keep your eyes glued on her when going on a walk, as she’s unfortunately very good at trying to eat things that she shouldn’t put in her mouth..! Other than that I’d say that our experience was really nice, Mariela and Dobrin showed that they care about their pets to a great extend, and were quick at giving us advice, and making us feel at home 🌼✨

Emily dog sat for my two dogs for one week - she was absolutely fantastic. I had never left my dogs more than one night before so I was anxious but I needn’t have been. Emily kept in touch with me whilst I was away and I could see that my dogs were extremely happy. Not only were they looked after incredibly well but Emily also built up their confidence and reduced their anxiety. She really did work her magic with them. I would not hesitate to recommend her dog sitting services. I will certainly be using her again myself.
Emily is amazing! We recently went away for a few days & Emily moved in to look after our menagerie of horses, ducks, chicken, goats, dogs, rabbit & tortoises! We came home to find everyone happy & healthy and the house was very clean & tidy. I cannot recommend Emily enough - she is kind & gentle with the animals and is very knowledgeable too - we felt very relaxed on our holiday knowing that she was here looking after all of our pets. She is such a lovely person too & didn’t mind all my last minute WhatsApp messages! The extra touches make all the difference and she even sent photos of them all to me whilst we were away so that we could see how they were! The ponies had a lovely pamper too & looked very smart when we got back. I trust Emily 100% with all of our animals and our home too - we will most definitely be using her again!

Emily looked after our kitten for the weekend. Pepe loved Emily from the offset so I knew I was leaving him in safe hands. Emily sent us photos regularly so we didn’t we worry and I came home to a healthy, happy kitten.

Put simply, Anna is the best dog walker we have ever found! We are very particular about who looks after our dogs for us when we’re at work and we are so lucky to have found Anna when we moved into the area a year ago. It puts my mind at rest when I know she is walking them for us, our dogs love her to bits and they always get lovely walks and loads of attention. She is so flexible (even when I spring a last minute request on her!), reliable, kind, patient and relaxed, I honestly don’t know what me and my dogs would do without her! How lucky were we to find Anna , our first ever dog walker .5* she is so reliable , week days , weekends - before 6 pm after 6pm -always happy to oblige . Taylor loves her walks with Anna. She especially enjoys seeing Oscar, Anna's dog, they are two of a kind. She's always much calmer and well behaved when I get home from work on her walk days. Anna is totally reliable and fantastic with Taylor.

Chloe has been and is my saviour, looking after my needy Collie x Sasha, knowing she’s safe, having fun and getting lots of love. Chloe has been looking after our dog for several years and he loves her dearly. He goes for day care and has stayed overnight when we’ve been away and we trust her explicitly. Horsham's Crazy Dog Lady, Chloe, is Broadbridge Heath's angel in disguise! Chloe walks my dog every week; she (Millie) comes back happy, tired, clean as a whistle and content - everything I dream of! Millie is a rescue dog and Chloe is expert at looking after her and also has her overnight on occasions - I think my dog would like that to be permanent - she loves Chloe that much. Chloe is passionate about animals, helped people through the Covid crisis last year and her business is one I couldn't do without.

Our dog has happily stayed with Karen for two of our family holidays. It has meant so much to be able to leave our much loved dog in such kind, safe hands. It means we can relax and enjoy our time away. We would thoroughly recommend Karen.
We needed to leave our Springer Izzy for 2 months whilst overseas. Karen was more than happy to have her for a longer period + competitive rates. The property is perfect for a high energy dog with open fields + a river. We also recieved reguar video updates. Izzy was very happy and healthy upon pick up, definitely recommend.
After an unsatisfactory experience at a local kennel we looked around for a new one for our Labrador Harvey and visited several of them. Karen's seemed to offer by far the best setting and facilities and Karen herself seemed to be by far the most genuinely dog-loving and dog-caring owner. As a result we've used Karen many times now and each time Harvey has jumped straight out of the car and sprinted straight towards the front door - he can't wait to see Karen again! This is so reassuring (and so unlike our previous experiences) that we'd never use anyone/anywhere else again. Can't recommend Karen highly enough.
Our Labrador, Moose, stayed over for 10 days. Karen was very clear and thorough with her communication, and it was very helpful to have a meet and greet before the boarding trip. Our dog seemed extremely happy and relaxed when I collected him. The dogs get a chance to be a dog, hanging outside, countryside walks and with a mixture of dogs that all have gone through the same vetting process. I felt very relaxed on holiday that Moose was being well looked after and having a good time making friends.
We have had our Labrador Toffee visit with Karen 4-5 times a year for the past seven years and would highly recommend Sussex Dog Boarding. Karen is extremely caring about the dogs she takes in. Karen not only takes the dogs on daily walks but she gives them access to the local paddock to roam around in a secure environment. Toffee has had a few health issues and Karen has always ensured her medicine is promptly administered. Toffee is so excited to visit that she honestly doesn't want to come home!
My working cocker, Willow, had a wonderful time staying with Karen for two weeks. Karen took a lot of care in getting to know Willow and making sure she settled in well and it was brilliant to have regular updates. The dogs stay in Karen's house and there is a huge, dog secure field for them to run and play in - it's a perfect set up for doggy holidays! Karen asked a lot of questions about Willow beforehand, which a couple of reviews have mentioned as a negative thing - but I thought this was really reassuring as I felt confident that Karen would only have friendly, well-behaved dogs staying with her! I certainly wouldn't want Willow going somewhere that just took every dog regardless of how well it would get on with others. So I would certainly recommend Sussex Dog Boarding and will be booking Willow again for the next trip away!
Very disappointed also - Just like Miguel from 3 weeks ago! Website looks fantastic, says the right things. We were very excited to go on holiday and leave our 4 legged loved one here. We actually requested to visit prior to the stay as we wanted to see where our dog was going to stay before he flew out the country! But Karen said that is not needed and made it very awkward for us to visit, which surprised us, as all professional dog carers tend to have a pre-visit to familiarise not only the dog with the surroundings but also for the carer to see if the dog will get on etc. etc. I have never been refused a pre-visit, in fact it has been mandatory with all my previous experiences to other carers. Maybe we should have listened to our hearts and heads at this point as it was all becoming a little difficult and odd! So when I arrived to drop our dog off, Karen didn't want to show me around, she only wanted to talk outside, and very reluctant to give me a tour (I didn't get one!) I mean this was a huge alarm bell which I should have listened to, but we were flying out that afternoon! So when we came to collect our dog 1 week later, Karen said that he is a lovely boy but a bit barky! She explained that it was not bad at all, just a couple of times a day and for not long at all either! I mean aren't all dogs a little anxious with new surroundings etc. and sometimes they bark to release anxiety. Perhaps Karen should have tried to address this issue, maybe she did and failed? We were promptly told that our dog would not be welcome back! Karen mentioned at the time she is VERY VERY fussy with the dogs she takes in! So why does she not have a pre-visit tour / half day experience? All very very dubious to me! If she is that proud of her facilities why is she not wishing to show them off? It is a bit like dropping your baby of at a creche and being told to pick up your baby and not return because the baby cries!! I also think, like the other review left 3 weeks ago; the services listed and described on the website do not match what I personally saw and experienced. I am astonished at Karen's behaviour throughout the whole time we interacted. I don't believe she should be in the business of dog care as it appears she is more interested in her fussiness and own well-being and neighbours rather than the dogs! I seldom write poor reviews however when you want the best for your loved one I feel it only right I share my experience to give you a flavour of what you may experience. I feel very strongly you should approach this business with caution.
Very happy with the care Karen took of my dog. She vets every dog and is very experienced. Her premises are secure, and it’s great that dogs have freedom to roam in the paddocks. I would definitely choose to board my dog with her in the future, and recommend, as a professional service , with peace of mind that your dog is in good hands.
I have had my dog Mattie stay with Karen quite a few times now. I picked him up this afternoon and he comes home has had his dinner and hasn't woken up since. That's always a sign of a good holiday. A lovely property with glorious fields surrounding it for Mattie I am in no doubt at all it is a touch of luxury for him. I would not take him anywhere else at all and for a loving owner that says quite a lot. Would gladly recommend to friends and family.
Indie spent 9 days with Karen at her lovely home in the middle of beautiful countryside. My wife and I picked her up earlier and when we arrived, we saw her happily running and playing with all the other dogs in the paddock. It is very much a home from home setting with plenty of exercise and socialising with Karens dogs and the other doggy guests.
We have been using Doggie Rambles for the past 18 months and wouldn't be without Mandy. Mandy is both extremely reliable but also has been flexible when we have needed that - a great combination for us. Most importantly our dog adores her - she waits on our bed looking out of the window for Mandy to park up as she is so excited to see her. She always comes back happy, tired and clean ( as she gets a paw rinse and wipe down before coming home). Mandy is clearly an animal lover, she doesn't take too many dogs at one time and varies where they walk so they are kept entertained. She is also very respectful of how you would like your dog treated - on or off lead and also quickly learns their personalities. I am so grateful to have found Mandy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
Mandy is everything a dog walker should be and so much more - and I have ridiculously high standards when it comes to my dog! She takes the responsibility of walking other people's pets seriously - never walks more than 4 at a time, is punctual, the dogs get a full hour's walk in a safe environment and arrive home happy and clean which is quite a feat in the current rainy spell! She is calm, friendly and flexible and has been able to walk my dog sometimes at very short notice for which I am so grateful. She clearly knows and understands the doggy mind and it's so reassuring for me to know that my dog is cared for by someone who is trustworthy and looks after him just as I would. I would have no hesitation in recommending her. Thanks Mandy, you're a star!
My dog absolutely loves her walks with Mandy . She can't wait to dash out of the door with Mandy, and always comes back very happy and extremely clean , even during this very wet winter. A* petsitting service! Mandy has cared so well for all of our pets and home whilst we were away. Gemma and Maria are fantastic and would not leave Willow, my whippet anywhere else. They carefully manage their dogs and ensure they are a good fit. They were able to manage my nervous but whizzy whippet puppy with skill and she has been attending for 18 months. I always feel Willow is safe, she is never left alone and they understand how to meet her needs. Willow has a fantastic time at regular day boarding, she gets walked, playtime and plenty of space to take herself off for a sleep. Willow literally pulls me up the drive excited wanting to go in. Willow always comes out happy. I am confident Gemma and Maria knows Willow's breed needs and meets them and she gets lots of cuddles too. Willow has also stayed for a week when I went on holiday and it is like a home from home for her so she was settled and happy straight away. For day and night boarding there are plenty of photo updates which I screenshot as they take beautiful photos. Communication is good and timely with clear general information and information needed to be communicated about Willow. Horsham Pet Care really is a 5 star provision with the welfare and needs of the animals central to everything they do.
Gemma and Maria run the best daycare service, Watson always has the best time and gets so excited to go back every week! They are affordable, kind and so caring to all the pets. I love seeing the daily updates on Instagram :)
Gemma and Maria provide such wonderful 'home from home' day care and boarding for my dog Poppy, providing love, comfort and beautiful walks in the countryside and woods. Poppy is a rescue so was very anxious early on and I very carefully chose Horsham Pet Care because instinctively I just knew it would be perfect for her as soon as we met for our introduction session. Gemma and Maria have patiently and lovingly built her trust and confidence and Poppy is so excited to go there. Gemma and Maria take such good care of our Labrador x Vizsla and he is always so excited to go see them! He can be a anxious when away from home but they manage it so we’ll and I never have a single second of worry about him when he is there. Zoe was very easy to communicate with to both discuss our needs and to make arrangements. She was also was very punctual. Our elderly cat is no longer able to groom herself or keep her claws trimmed. Zoe was very gentle in her treatment of our baby and did not rush at all. She ensured our girl was calm and safe at all times. She did an excellent job of removing large amounts of matted fur and trimming all claws. Our baby is so much happier and we would definitely recommend Zoe.
I contacted Zoe a couple of weeks after we adopted Twig, who had recently been found as a stray and so had become very food anxious! Though nothing Twig had done had been too extreme, I wanted advice and reassurance that we were handling his behaviour in a good way so as not to get him into any bad habits and exacerbate his problems. Zoe gave an initial 40 minute consultation on zoom for £15 and was incredibly insightful, following up with a very detailed action plan and lots of resources for us to look up. I can't believe how good this price is having seen other behaviourists charge hundreds off the bat! It's so appreciated with cost of living etc, Zoe is doing very important work for people who may not be able to afford it otherwise!
Zoe is dedicated, caring and I absolutely recommend her cat sitting service! She looked after my cat Oreo for a few weeks and went far beyond anything requested or expected of her. In addition to looking after Oreo's basic needs, when we returned from our trip, we saw that she had set up more play areas for him, gotten him a treat and afterwards she emailed with some behavioral tips to help with Oreo's shyness and bouts of aggression towards strangers, which helped a lot. Great pricing too! I highly recommend!!
Zoe is an excellent cat behaviouralist! I had some toileting issues with my youngest kitten. I was at the end of my wits, when I reached out to Zoe. She was exceptionally friendly, warm and super helpful. Her knowledge of cat behaviours was amazing, and she truly helped me make my cats happier, and completely solved the issue with my youngest kitten. :D She helped me understand better how my lovely kitties think and what they need to live a happier and healthier life with me. I am super satisfied with Zoe's services, and I would highly recommend contacting her for any cat behaviour related issues. She is truly fantastic.
Would highly recommend Zoe. She came to our house to trim our elderly (and very shy) cat Patch's nails, and she was so lovely with her. She gave her a little treat and lots of attention, and cut her nails whilst we comfortably held her in our arms. So happy we found her and she gave us some great advice too.

Zoe is amazing! She recently visited us to give our long haired kitten a lion cut. It went really well as Zoe had a great technique and was really gentle, taking her time to make sure our kitten wasn’t distressed. I would highly recommend Zoe, she is friendly, very professional and has the animal’s best interests at heart.
I spoke with Zoe about my cat's behaviour issues and she was extremely helpful. She is clearly knowledgeable about cats, their behaviour, and anything related. She was a pleasure to speak with and I appreciated the fact that she was happy to offer multiple ways we can try to make a difference, for us and our cats to live a better life! I really recommend speaking with her and taking the necessary steps and instructions she provides.
We were worried about leaving our nervous cat for two weeks, but, at the pre visit I knew we had made the right choice when Leisa's kind & caring manor was returned with a slow blink! On her twice daily visits Leisa would sit on the floor talking gently to her until she came out from under the bed, she then gave her as much or as little attention she comfortable with, we had regular updates & photos showing how confident she was becoming, when we were due home Leisa checked we had actually arrived so our little one wasn't left home alone, we returned to a clean fresh smelling house, but more importantly to a happy, relaxed little cat! This is the second time our Labrador has stayed, this time for two weeks. They are amazing and really care. Request are accommodated and Habibba gets enough exercise. She comes home happy and I don’t worry about her while I’m away. They have also had to cope with her being in season both times which they handled perfectly!

I cant recommend Keepers enough. I have used them for many years and yet again my Beagle Pip had a lovely stay and was very happy when I picked her up. You can just tell that all the staff love what they do and it shines through. A big thank you to Lisa and the girls. See you all again soon.
Keepers kennels are excellent! Very reasonably priced! Polite! Professional and very trustworthy! They managed to get reggie booked in for a 5 night stay at such short notice which was just amazing! Originally I was very hesitant about leaving him in a kennels as we have never been separated for a long time and he can be a bit of a handful! I was sent pictures and a video update which was great! He seemed to have an amazing time and gave out lots of cuddles to them all! Thank you again guys! See you again :)
My dog has just spent the weekend here and I’m so happy with the result! I was worried about leaving him as he’d never been left before as due to Covid a previous visit had to be cancelled. Also my dog was born deaf so I’m always concerned about leaving him with new people as given his breed, he can be full on with people he doesn’t know. However I picked him up this afternoon, he was incredibly happy and healthy and was more interested in the staff than he was in greeting me! So without doubt, I know he had a great weekend and would be happy to return. Also, on the first day, I’d messaged the kennels about his feeding schedule as I’d forgotten to say when I dropped my dog off, I got a message back later that evening saying that my dog was settling in well and playing with the other dogs, which was a massive weight off my shoulders and allowed me to enjoy my weekend away. Having no experience on kennels previously, I can’t say whether the pricing is considered average however I was more than happy with the price and found it to be very reasonable.
My 3 girls stayed for 9 nights and I had to visit a veterinary practice for emergency appointment straight after I picked them last Friday. The youngest girl, a Havanese puppy, in a long coat, was suffering excruciating pain after being left for days with a mass of mixed feaces, urine and hair, tightly attached to her bum, leg and tail. Vet described her state as terrible due to negligence by the kennel staff. She had to have administered strong painkillers before the mass could be removed after long, soaking in a soothing bath. Words can't describe the amount of suffering this young and vulnerable animal experienced, let down by people who were responsible for her welfare. The owner diminished responsibility. She responded in her email with a sarcasm saying that she was looking forward to see the pictures of her affected body area and finished by saying "enjoy the rest of your weekend". I have attached my girl's picture and picture taken after the mass was removed from the affected part of her body. The damage still looks horrific. Update This review was reposted without pictures as too graphic. My girls stayed for 9 nights in July.
Our dogs have stayed a couple of times now & our dogs are always happy & healthy when we pick them up. They contact us if they have any concerns. Thank you Keepers Kennels

Keepers are professional, reliable and friendly. I have always seen the dogs treated with respect and in a gentle manner. They will look after your dog as if it was their own best friend. You could not ask for more.
My 2 English Setters spent 12 nights here. They have come home in excellent conditions and whilst very pleased to see us had the good manners to say goodbye!! The kennels are a 45 min drive , but well worth the journey. I will use them again.
Caroline is an intuitive and experienced trainer who understands the needs of the dog and the whole family. She doesn't have unrealistic standards and will work at a pace that suits your dog.
Caz is an absolutely brilliant dog trainer! After one session we felt totally at ease and incredibly supported. Our boy loved her and responded to her straight away. We were given amazing pointers and really enjoyed the class!
In a single session Caroline has transformed my dog Snoopy totally. A walk with him was a dreadful experience for me with him barking at people, dogs, cyclists' etc. She taught me a few skills which has made all the issues disappear. Cannot believe such a transformation would be achieved in a single class. Her passion is so evident by the amount of time she spends in a session or on the phone. Cannot be more thankful to her
Caz was recommended to us by our vet who works with the RSPCA. Dog charities use Caz. She has saved many dogs from being put to sleep, when other trainers have failed to understand and treat their issues. Caz is so knowledgable about all breeds of dogs and she is always on the end of the phone if you need reassurance. Caz doesn’t employ anyone so you always get consistent training. She helps you build an amazing two way relationship with your dog. The training is based on rewards, praise and many years of Caz’s experience. I’ve tried other local trainers and found them to be a complete waist of money. When we and our rescue beagles worked with Caz our walks and home life became so much better. Caz has a sand school and green space to practice in real situations where the dog is naturally distracted. Anyone who trains with Caz would not look back and would be writing reviews like this!
Caz has made a huge difference to how my dog and I interact while walking. She has become so much less reactive that instead of being apprehensive when we go out, I am eager to see how she will behave when we meet another dog. We are really on the way and all thanks to Caz's no-nonsense approach.
Caz is brill - clearly knows her stuff and is very generous with her time! We have learnt a lot and our dog has come on loads with her help!

Amazing place. Our dogs have loved every minute at Harry’s. The team are so invested in the dogs, they are looked after and cared for the same as they are at home. Always going above and beyond and the photos and report cards each day are fantastic. Worth every penny. Highly recommend.
I have just discovered Harry's Hounds and my young boy Rafa is loving it. Harri and all the team really love the dogs, and get to know all of their personalities. He comes back exhausted from so many adventures on their walk and it has been great socialisation for him as he can be over enthusiastic in play but I have already noticed a big difference after just a few days going.
Harrys hounds are simply the best. The team are knowledgeably, friendly, and incredibly amazing at what they do. They provide a very stimulating and rewarding environment for all the dogs in their care.
I’ve only just started using Hari’s Hounds and I’m so impressed already, I don’t always know when I will need doggy care so sometimes I have messaged Hari a day before and she has always accommodated my dog Molly! Molly comes home exhausted, the dogs are walked all over and for miles, it’s lovely to see them all running and having a lovely time with each other! Hari is also working on Molly’s obedience as she’s not always the best with that!! I also feel Hari is incredibly reasonable and great value for money, she has a genuine love for dogs and you can see that! Molly seems right at home with Hari’s Hounds and that’s what it’s all about, knowing your dog is being taken good of care of and is happy! 👍

Thinks she knows better than dog owners and vets. Put our dogs health in serious jeopardy by changing tablet dosage. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
