Bobby is the star of this Sit, I’m sure she agrees with you. She is quite a character and happily hangs out with you. Louise and George very generously welcomed me into their lovely home. After showing me through her home it was so easy to settle into the rhythm of the day to day routine. Louise took the time to list helpful information about her home, Bobby’s needs and likes, and also local interests and places to visit. This sit is rural, due to this I got to enjoy the wildlife that frequently visited Louise’s garden. Never boring, and wonderfully peaceful This Sit was truly a highlight and I’ll never forget Louise and George’s kindness.
Hi Anna, Been suggested to leave feedback here almost a year since doing the sit and was sure I had done it at the time. If not I am sorry. All I do recall was that your house and gardens were beautiful and the cats were lovely. The whole area was lovely and was dead easy to get to London by train on the two occasions I needed to get there. Your fridge generosity has been hard to beat before or since! We enjoyed our time taking care of Bee very much. She is a sweet girl who loves a sniffing good walk and a scratch on the back. John and Elizabeth’s home is warm and tidy with a beautiful garden to wander around. We enjoyed our walks into Shaftesbury which has many interesting little shops. Thanks for making us so welcome Liz and John!
Amazing sit! We loved our time at Tracy’s home. We instantly felt like old friends because Tracy was so great to communicate with, and upon arrival we were greeted in person by Tracy and her lovely two children who gave us a great run down of how to care for the home and pets. They even took us for a walk around the lovely, peaceful neighbourhood. The dogs are divine and just so loving and easy, and the rest of the pets are easy to care for - even one of the Guinea Pigs loved to be pet. We went in to DC which was a simple car and train ride from Tracy’s home. There are great trails in the area that we didn’t have a chance to explore, but if we ever returned we would take advantage of the access to some outdoors activities. This is such a wonderful house sit opportunity, if you have the chance to home and pet sit here you should count yourself very lucky.
I had a great experience sitting for Jane and family! They were accessible when I had questions and thorough with what needed to be done to take care of their home. The cats are great and easy to care for and Lambeaux is a ball of fun energy, but also laid back at times. Their home is close to everything like Starbucks, Target, Kroger and even IKEA and I can’t say enough about them because I felt so welcomed in their home. Plus, I’m now an amateur gardener lol. I’m excited about sitting again next week.
Had a very enjoyable time helping Katie out with this house sit and taking care of her five sweet bunnies: Neptune, Eclipse, Aster, Luna and Casper. Very cute and the most beautiful healthy, thick fur, so soft. Picking up Casper for his three times a day eye drops was no problem or administering his nightly meds went smoothly. Enjoying a good pet on the forehead and cuddling up to you, very sweet and the biggest bunny I've ever cared for. Katie's home is lovely, comfortable, well equipped and a perfect location in Calgary with easy access to get around the city. Would highly recommend this sit if you ever get the chance.
