We have been using the Pet Sitter services of Tail Waggle Pets since we moved to the Hudson Valley. Our cat Tilly loves Marina, who is kind, knowledgeable, and engaged with her customers. We never worry when we hire Marina to care for our beloved cat. She not only provides comprehensive care, she also gives us great guidance as Tilly ages based on her years of experience. We recommend Marie to everyone we know. We started using her because one of our cats had diabetes and required daily shots. She is one of the few people including family that I would trust to do this. Ever since, she has been stuck with us when we are out of town. She is extremely reliable, caring to our pets needs and our anxieties when we travel. She is loving to the fur babies and we know if something happens to them, we are in good hands. It’s nice to know they can stay home instead of having to be placed in a kennel. She is the best!

We use Marina for pet sitting and doggy daycare/play dates and she is wonderful! She’s great with all kinds of dogs—our dog is often shy with new people and she absolutely adores her, she cannot contain her excitement any time we see her. Marina is also super reliable and thoughtful, she makes sure to keep the right food on hand for each of her regular clients’ dogs and she makes sure to match up temperaments when she brings dogs together for walks or play time. It was hard to find the right person to look after our anxious dog and I cannot recommend Marina enough!

Highly recommend for all your pet sitting needs. I cannot say enough positive things. I have been a pet owner for 25 yrs + and finding Marie was the best thing that every happened for my pets. She became a part of the family and I never worried when I had to be away from them or that they wouldn't receive their medication on her daily visits for years. Beyond dependable, trustworthy and treats your pets and home like they are hers.

Mari is such a gifted and sweet dog care giver. She watches my two dogs and they love her. When we pull up to her house, they start getting all excited. My dogs know how good she is too. They hardly ever want to leave her! She is also excellent in my home for overnights and I trust her completely with the house care as well as the pups 🐕🐕💕👍

We recently moved away from the Hudson Valley and miss Marina and her services so much! She provided speedy communication, flexibility, and excellent care. She was also extremely patient and loving with our rather needy and anxious pup. Thank you so much, Marina! We wish we could have brought you with us!

Mari was the petsitter for my elder kitty, Snug, last year when I lived in Poughkeepsie. I wish we still lived near enough for her to be Snug's catsitter! She was great with making long visits so Snug got lots of attention while I was away, giving him medication and outdoor time on my enclosed porch, sending photos and videos every visit, and sweet touches like turning on cat TV for him. She obviously loved Snug so I felt like he was in good hands. Mari was also very understanding and supportive of last-minute travel plans (where possible) - I appreciate the flexibility she gave us!

There isn't enough room to tell you about the quality of pet care you get here. She comes to your house and/or has in-house. My Koko LOVED going to visit! Big fenced in yard!! But she also has dog training skills so you can see she is able to handle and dog and whatever "issues" they may have. A TRUE PROFESSIONAL ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is the first daycare that we knew our boy would be in safe hands and still come home feeling happy and enriched! Their grooming options are convenient to add on to his daycare and I don't have to worry about finding a separate appointment time. He is always so excited when we drive up for morning drop-off!

My dog and I ABSOLUTELY love this place!! The owners are so welcoming and they treat my baby as if he was their own. The fees are reasonable. The facility is state of the art. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They even have treats and toys to purchase. It was just what I needed for my high energy pup! Highly recommend!

The owner and staff of Central Bark are loving, compassionate and caring people. Not only did they take really good care of our dog Capri, they kept an open communication with us on how she was doing. They took really good care of her during her 3 day stay. I also had her bathed and groomed during her stay. The Groomer did a wonderful job. Today I had scheduled her for an enrichment day, preparing her for daycare. Which was another wonderful experience. I am glad that I found somewhere that both Capri and my family are very comfortable with.

Thank you Central Bark! Niko, my 11week old mini golden doodle had his very first pup cut and I couldn’t be happier! The staff at Central Bark Poughkeepsie were welcoming, friendly and kind to Niko and myself! The lovely groomer in green was so descriptive as she told me step by step the services she provided to my Niko. Great experience, amazing staff!! We will be back !!

Central Bark is fantastic. Extremely friendly and knowledgable staff, great communication, and very fair prices. Our two pups come home calm and happy—not just worn out, but like all their needs are met. Can't recommend this doggy daycare high enough!

Today was Franklin’s first day of day care! Wonderful facility and very attentive workers. I feel that my dog is in very good hands (or paws). It’s so great to feel that my dog is getting socialized and is being engaged with while I work at home. I will definitely be using CB for boarding as well when I take my Christmas vacation. Overall, I’m really excited to welcome them to the neighborhood and Franklin is so excited to come back tomorrow!

My dog Rudy loved his first day at daycare and felt very welcomed by everyone at Central Bark. He felt very comfortable and happy being just with smaller dogs. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants their dog well taken care of, socialized, and ready to have fun :)

The owners are dog people who truly understand what you want and need from pet care. You feel like part of the family here. If you’re taking an extended trip, I think it’s worth the drive from anywhere in the Hudson valley area to take advantage of their boarding services. I would also note that their puppy enrichment and training classes are definitely worth it.

We are exceptionally pleased with the quality of people and approach central bark takes toward ensuring a great and safe experience for our JoeJoe. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We kept our cat here twice and the experience was great. They loved hi. And took great care.

The highland pet resort is a great place to leave your fur baby while away.I left my golden retriever in there care and the staff went above and beyond to make my dog comfortable and help with his separation anxiety...and while away I got stuck with a canceled flight due to a hurricane and they accommodated my dog and were willing to make space for him until I was able to return. My golden came back a happy boy and was well taken care of! I will definitely use this doggy hotel again in the future!

I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my best furry girl. They are exceptional! My girl is used to lots of exercise. While she was with them, they took her for many long walks through the apple orchards surrounding their property. They kindly accommodated me calling to check on her while I was traveling (a much needed part of me feeling comfortable), and followed all directions regarding how to feed her the raw diet she’s on and the treats that I brought. As a huge cherry on the top that highlights their level of care and seriousness when taking care of your fur baby; on pick-up day, I noticed that there was an additional attachment link between her harness and collar. They took it upon themselves to add this safety link so that there was no chance of her slipping out of her harness while out on these walks. When they are taking these kinds of precautions, you know that your beloved best furry will be safe and cared for. Their onsite groomer does a fantastic job as well!

What a great place and staff....they understand dogs and did a wonderful job with my 10 month old and my 12 year old pups. I recommend them highly and when I did too will use them again!!

We have always been really happy with the care our pup receives here. She goes to doggy daycare and has so much fun she needs a nap for the rest of the evening after we pick her up. We also have boarded her here for several years and always feel she is well taken care of. The owners and staff seem to genuinely care and love the animals. I would absolutely recommend giving this business a try.

Highland Pet Resort is the best kennel in the area. Our dogs LOVE going there and come home well taken care of, well loved and happy. Chris and the staff are courteous, flexible and helpful. One of our boys had mobility issues for a while a few years ago and they continue to check in when he’s there, take care to have him avoid stairs and let us know if anything happens. Our other gets anxious when away from us and is finicky when eating, so they literally feed him from their hand, one handful at a time. Can’t say enough good things about them, highly recommend!

We did a tour and booked for the summer. Facilities are clean. The staff seems friendly.. From what we see, it's a five star place for your pet. Will Update after our reservation.

Very good place to go for pet boarding. We take our dogs here every year when we go to cape cod for 2 weeks. Very stress free taking the dogs here. The dogs are very happy with there stay here. They get a nice bath while staying here. The nice part is everything you bring with your animals you get back when picking them up. And the pets belongings are in good shape and not broken when you get them back

We just used Renee and Chris's amazing facility last week for our furry child. It was his first boarding experience and super successful. His week stay long was completely worry free, as we had full trust in the owners and staff for their fantastic care of animals. So many of our friends here have raved about them. What a great service and wonderful addition to our town. Our dog was happy, rested, and well exercised throughout his stay. I felt like I was leaving him with family. Thanks you guys!

Highly recommend this place. Every single employee we met was so friendly. You could really tell that every one of them loved dogs and took great care your pet. The facilities were super clean and we loved that our dog had an outdoor/indoor area that they could move between at their leisure.

I have spent years trying to find a reliable dog sitter who knows how to communicate with my shy, traumatized 11yo dog who is afraid of new people (sometimes comes out as aggression). T'Keyah is one of the only people I've met who my pup got comfortable with right away. She's calm and confident around dogs with behavior challenges and that makes all the difference. T'Keyah always updates me with pictures and my dog comes home happy. Very accommodating with time (met me for a meet and greet same day as my dog got kicked out of another daycare and took her on 5 days a week right away). Professional, responds quickly, and her services are affordable. Can't say enough good things!

All things K9 are just wonderful, very professional and trustworthy. I literally booked last minute and had no issues. I always get messages about how the the visit went, my dog is very nervous around new people but for all things K9 she just loves! Booking is fast and easy!

AllThingsK9 has been the absolute best! They are super reliable and have great availability. T’Keyah would help in training my pup too! She would ask each week if there was something specific we were working on and continue the training. I also got great pictures of my pup after each walk. So glad to have T’Keyah, she’s made work less stressful knowing my pups taken care of!

T’Keyah, who runs All Things K9, has been walking our pup, Summer, since September 2021. Summer absolutely loves her walks and visits with the T’Keyah as T’Keyah takes very special care of her. T’Keyah is very respectful of our home and is a great communicator. She lets me know how things went with summer once they have had their walk. You can really tell that T’Keyah loves pups and that they are her passion. All Things K9 and T’Keyah are your spot if you want a reliable, trustworthy and caring person take care of your pup! T is amazing ! I had been looking for a new dog walker for my Akita , and had some disappointing experiences. But T with All things K9 has been a god send . My dog loves her !! She is extremely dependable which is very important since I work over an hour away, and if she has an issue she, has back up plans !!! She is hard working and always willing to go the extra mile . I feel very at ease with my little girl in her care!

We love T’Keyah !! She’s excellent with our dogs she’s great with giving us updates and goes above and beyond for our pups. You can tell she loves what she does and is very intelligent. Definitely recommend her for anyone in the area!!
