Having Liya stay was an absolute pleasure. She sent me updates on Burt during the stay and the house was kept clean and tidy (was great to be able to come home and just relax). Communication pre-sit was very straight forward and this was echoed during the sit. I wouldn't hesitate to have Liya stay again should she come back to the UK. A very welcome guest!

Lakisha is such a wonderful house sitter and animal companion! One could literally not find a better personality to care for animals. Lakisha is a detail oriented, focused but flexible career woman, who is somehow also an outdoorsy, hiking, nature-loving vegan, completely in harmony with animals. She’s able to work from home, so she spent tons of time with my cat. I don’t have dogs right now, but if I did, she would have been cross-country skiing and snowshoeing and hiking with them every day. She literally offered to bring her own cleaning supplies and detergent, to make sure that they are vegan and cruelty free. She organized my kitchen and took adorable pictures of my cat, and sent me a little videos of him. She is the perfect housesitter. I was really wowed by Lakisha’s care, and am so grateful for everything she did…taking care of François, my beloved three legged kitty cat, for an entire month, when I was on the other side of the world. When I first interviewed with Lakisha, she had really great questions. For instance, she prompted, “Tell me about your daily routine with François.” Then she truly listened as I described a day with my cat. Which, for all you cat people out there, is really not a very exciting day. But she took notes. She then asked, “Does he have any special needs or medications?” At the time, he wasn’t on any medication, but right before I left, he did get a prescription… And Lakisha was completely willing to embark upon the difficult task of managing medication in a cat that she had just met. She was really fearless when it came to his health and needs. I was traveling to the other side of the world, in South Sudan, where I didn’t know if I would have Internet access and was working in a stressful situation. Lakisha would send me pictures of François, or a little videos of him playing with his mouse. It was such a relief to know that he was safe and OK with somebody. I remember the day when she wrote to me that they had really connected… And I knew that he actually had a friend who saw his special spark. Then… (!!!) I had to extend my stay…over Christmas, and she stayed extra just to take care of him, through the holidays. Absolutely amazing. When I came home, the house was perfectly clean, with a little gift on the counter. Lakisha had remembered that I made a joke about taking care of my basil plant (It was clearly an already dead plant)….so she bought me a brand new one and also a really pretty nice smelling candle. I am so lucky to have had her with my beloved cat, when I was so very far away, never having left him for so long. It is amazing how somebody can be a stranger one moment, and then they are a beloved cat-auntie the next… Somebody to really trust with your pet and your home. Thank you so much, Lakisha!

Mathew was fantastic. He took such great care of Bonnie. He was very organized. He even sent us a PDF word document summarizing all of the fun he had with her. She loved hanging out with him. He took great care of our home. I recommend him highly without reservation. Fantastic. Thank you so much. Ryan and Julie. 

We were so so lucky to have Majda sit for us. She went above and beyond to care for our house, plants and our kitty. She came over ahead of time (twice!) to meet us and to get my detailed instructions about everything. She felt like a friend. I felt completely at ease while we were overseas knowing Majda was at our house. She sent sweet photos of the kitty a few times which was very thoughtful. She even picked us up at the airport on our return! Our house was spotless when we got home. She is a gem! We will for sure ask her to sit again!

Michelle was an amazing sitter. She was very communicative, friendly, and took great care of our kitty. The house was spotless when we returned and she had even left us a gift which was so thoughtful. We would absolutely recommend Michelle and would be happy to have her sit again!

Even though Leah was only at my house for a few days, she exceeded my expectations. When I arrived home after my sit, the house was clean and the bedding washed; the garbage had been taken out and the rooms tidied. But most importantly, Leah took excellent care of my dogs! One dog was experiencing a slight medical issue; Leah kept me apprised of the dog's status and told me measures she had taken to alleviate the issue. She managed to accommodate the two very different energy levels of my dogs with her walks. And from the photos she sent, Leah was a definite hit with the pups. She communicates well, was easy to get ahold of, and was interested in getting as much information as possible about my dogs and their likes/dislikes before the sit. We never met in person, but I was totally confident leaving the dogs in Leah's care, and would welcome her back at any time!

April was an easy fit for my 4 nights away. She asked good questions during our online meet-and-greet. She gave Frida walks and plenty of cuddles, and I came home to a tidy house and happy pup!

Absolutely fabulous. Would bring her back in a heartbeat.

Dianne and Dan were excellent house sitters and took great care of our two cats and our dog. They sent photos and gave updates, and even dealt with our dog getting unexpectedly sick, providing lots of care to her and reassurance to us! They left the house tidy and we wouldn't hesitate to have them stay again and highly recommend them to others. Thanks so much!

Jodie was great! I am so glad to have her take care of my house and pets! She was very attentive to making sure that everything was taken care of while we were gone for two weeks and made me feel assured by sending videos and communicating throughout our absence. The place was left clean and she watered the garden and played and walked the dog daily. So happy to host her! Would definitely recommend.

Linda and Barry were great sitters. Good communication ahead of time, arrived when scheduled, happy pets and house as tidy as when we left it. Although it was only a weekend visit, we would be very happy to have Linda and Barry come again and would wholeheartedly recommend them as excellent sitters.

I reached out to Courtney and prompted a dog sit since my house sitter had canceled. She was amazing with her dog Tucker. It allowed our Macho to have a play date with another dog. We had recently lost our black lab and so he is lonely. She took good care of our dog and our house while we were away. She knows how to communicate well and provided us with updates regarding our dog. We so appreciated her willingness to dog sit with short notice and her kindness to Macho. We would definitely have her back at any time.
