What a wonderful sit, albeit short. Was so happy the timing lined up perfectly with the gap in our South Africa trip and Sanet selected me to care for their beautiful home and super sweet gentle giants. Highly recommended!!
I was hesitant to give Kate and Mike such a gleaming reviewing because by doing so, I'd be selling the sit to others, and I don't want that! I want to be the ONLY sitter at Glenbruar Lodge! It was such a magical experience and I even had the pleasure of being able to bring my 82 year old grandma along with me. She loved it. Bertie, Charlie, and Eddie are a bundle of fun. Three peas in a pod and can't be without each other. Eddie is very affectionate and loves his belly being rubbed, Bertie is the same but has a lot more energy and needs to be the brother to Charlie, who has much energy! They're in the perfect setting for walks and at the time of writing, I was able to walk lead free. They all go at their own pace but it works. The house is awful. Don't visit... I would have said if I were being selfish! It's wonderful. The location is one of a kind and if you're into the outdoors, this situation is perfect. Kate also makes up the spare rooms like a boutique hotel and the pillows are to die for! You're not at a loss for things to do in the surrounding area. You're at the gateway to the Cairngorms National Park, next to House of Bruar, Pitlochry, Blair Atholl, and many lochs! Some breathtaking drives too. Thank you so much, Kate and Mike for a wonderful week.
Devasted as I write this, since it indicates my time with Bonezzz has come to an end. I already miss our morning scratches, afternoon playtime, and 24/7 kisses. Bonezzz is a very classy, yet chill gal. I'm glad I have dozens of photos on my phone to remind me of her!! In addition to perfect Bonezzz, the house was in a great location and very comfortable bed (WOW!). Jerry was also just as cool as Bonezzz! Very easy to communicate with and instructions were clearly defined. Jerry and Bonezzz, you will be missed and I hope to see you both soon!
This stay was wonderful. Moish and Dot are the sweetest dogs with such colorful personalities! They love to romp around the compound and show you lots of love. The house is beyond beautiful and in a great location. Robin and Eric were such kind hosts and made me feel extremely welcomed. Thank you for a great stay!
