Sabine's home is lovely, efficient, stylish, wonderfully equipped and clean, AND incredibly QUIET for NYC! Tigrette is an amazingly healthy 14 y.o. tabby who is sweet and easy to be with (once she overcomes her shyness- just as Sabine explains). The less-city-like (more park-like) feel of Washington Heights (just below The Cloisters park and museum) is fantastic. The short 2-block walk to the Subway quickly took me everywhere I wanted to go in the city, which I got comfortable doing even past 11pm. I also loved walking miles at a time in every direction and being able to rent a bike or jump on the subway to get back. I am ever grateful that Sabine wanted to travel, sought a Trusted Housesitter, and chose me for the job.
Taking care of Lola was fun. She loves lots of cuddles, nearly as much as laying in bed! Hailey’s apartment is in a great location, close to downtown, and it’s clean & well-equipped. Wish I could stay longer :)
Luna is THE sweetest dog I've met in a long time, and Terry and Martin were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout my sit. Their communication and instructions were clear, and their home/location is beautiful. I'd gladly stay with Luna again!
Thank you Bochra for such a lovely housesit. My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at your home and completely fell in love with Vino. Bochras thorough instructions helped us feel confident as a sitter and communicating thorough the sit was easy, efficient and enjoyable.
We enjoyed this house sit at Jacqui’s place, she was very communicative and the space was very comfortable for our family. Both dogs were calm and loving and easy to be around. We especially enjoyed the surrounding area for beautiful walks along rivers and hills.
I had a great time in Beacon with these lovable, sweet cats! Marian was very nice and wrote easy detailed instructions. The cats at first were shy but soon were all about being pet and brushed and were lovely work break companions :) The apartment is really comfortable and close to everything in Beacon—an easy walk to a great taco place and coffee shop and tons of restaurants and shops. I had a relaxing time and highly recommend spending time with Penelope and Pixie in Beacon if you get the chance. I hope to visit again soon :)
