What a great sit this is! Lexie is absolutely adorable. She’s so sweet, easy to walk, affectionate and extremely well-behaved. The house is gorgeous and in an amazing spot – a few houses in from the beach – and David and Leslie couldn’t have been nicer. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for me. Oxnard is a hidden gem on the coast with small town charm, easy-going people, fun places to go and amazing views. Highly recommend this sit!
This was one of my best pet sits! Tamsin had all information on the pet sit well laid out and everything written down in two documents. It was easy for me to complete all tasks (plants, birds, cats and fish) and rest assured I would not forget anything. I felt very welcomed. The cats Bernstein and Basil are very easy to take care of. Bernstein loves cuddles and would spend a lot of time close to me. It is really sweet to have such a good companion! She always knew when I had to take a break from work and cuddle her. :) Basil is a very independent cat. She likes to be outside and also demands her cuddles when she wants them - especially in the evening on the couch. You see, they have their routines and are grateful for a little spoon of treats as well. I miss them already! :) The fish was easy to take care of: food in the morning, top up water and make sure it is happy. :) There is a routine to take care of the plants. The routine is well laid out and it was explained to me, so I felt confident in taking care of the plants. It was very rewarding to see the plants grow and also taste the herbs. Thank you! The house has a spectacular location by the fjord. When not working, it felt like a vacation. We already confirmed a second pet sit in the summer which I immediately agreed to do, of course!
