Freddie and I had a lovely stay at Viv and Ted’s place. They are both really lovely people and they made us both feel incredibly welcome. They very kindly stocked up the fridge for us and put us on the insurance of their car so we could take Revie further afield for walks. Would highly recommend to anyone else considering a sit!!
We were the first sitters for David and Nada and met them a few days before the sit ( as we were in the area)where David gave us a tour of the house. This was a fabulous petsit and David and Nada made sure they did all they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house is large and comfortable with stunning views over open countryside, even though the weather was warm we enjoyed chilling out in the hottub. Dottie the cat is delightful, very affectionate and easy going and loves to follow you around the house. We really enjoyed this petsit and Dottie was very easy to take care of.
Carol and Rob are great people to work with. They did an excellent job of explaining and showing what needed to be done. The animals were easy to care for ( still work, mainly the horses, but nothing difficult) and I did enjoy walking their dog Zara around the property. Their cat must have watched too many Star Trek movies as at times she will try a mind meld with you. :)
This is a very special housesit and one we hope to return to. Dave and Judith are warm, generous and welcoming. We quickly felt comfortable with both of them and the house. They are interesting to talk with , and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The house is in a great location, it is clean and comfortable with everything you might need. It is a little oasis in the city. Both dogs are affectionate and well behaved. Amiga likes to lay by you in the house and loves to play ball outside. Kvichak is a bit more protective of the house but once he knows you belong, he is super fun and acts like your best friend. They are some of the sweetest dogs that we have taken care of and they both have distinct personalities; we miss hanging out and playing ball with them! We highly recommend this sit if you have the chance.
What wasn't to love about this sit?! The description of "adorable dog" and "beautiful house" are definitely not exaggerations. I would add to that "fantastic, tranquil neighborhood" and "excellent bike ride opportunity to Heidelberg Castle." And probably several more superlatives. Teddy was simply a joy. Well behaved on the lead, super fun to play with inside and out in the grass. A real agility performer. The residential area and the adjacent wheat and barley fields provided excellent, relaxing walking opporutunities. All the homeowners clearly care about their homes and their gardens, with explosions of fragrances around every turn. And lovely birdsond throughout the day. Becky's home is very comfortable, with lots of light and an excellent terrace, with a hammock! As close to a retreat as one can get on a pet sit! Finally, Becky had everything well prepared, and was very responsive to questions, despite being on a cruise! Highly recommended sit. Hope to have an opportunity to return someday.
Louie and Ceesje, Clara's British Shorthairs are quite easy-going. They are fed four times a day and happy about it. Both of them enjoy roaming around the (secluded) garden, sniffing at plants and trying to catch insects. Ceesje may shy away from coming back inside - she was with me - as it took her a while go get accustomed to my presence. Louie might enjoy a bit of fuss, but is definitely not a lap cat. She quite liked running after a wad of paper or even better: some snacks. Leiden is a beautiful historic town with tons of things to do: museums, walks, cafe's, ... Clara's house is centrally located, spacious, comfortable, clean/tidy and well-equipped. The bed in my room was very comfortable. Communication went smooth, from beginning to end. I definitely recommend this sit!

We brought our two great Danes to doggy woods a couple times now. The second time, we went on vacation and left them for 12 days. One of the things we love the most are not only the people running the center, but the way they run it. Open boarding in their home and open free walk times along their acreage with all the other dogs. It’s wonderful how they post videos daily of your dogs experiences. I would definitely recommend not only doggy daycare but overnight boarding for your furry babies. Maverick and Riley will be returning to go visit all the friends they made. Family owned and operated in their home with love and compassion, definitely! 🐾💙

I trust them whole heartedly and they really do understand dogs individual needs. My girl always comes home happy and exhausted because her needs have been met ❤️. I’m a long time friend of Josh and Colette’s. They have always been huge animal lovers and have been interested in and in tune with animal behavior for many years, so this is the perfect career for them! I’m so excited to be able to use their services at Doggy Woods for Grady, a German shepherd I’ve been helping to care for. He had a great time meeting the pack in a safe and controlled manner, and had absolute blast getting to run around in the woods with his new pack friends on a pack walk. He is a very social and athletic dog who is used to a lot of exercise, so this will be an amazing environment for him since he will have an outlet for both of those things. So thankful for Josh and Colette and their amazing property that had become Doggy Woods.
Colette and Josh are awesome! Doggy Woods Retreat is a wonderful place and our dog, Cheesecake, comes home happy and tired every time. We love this place so much that we are willing to drive an hour+ each way rather than find something closer, just because she's so happy here and we trust them. I can't recommend them enough!!
Our 2 year English bull terrier had a great 10 day vacation at Doggy Woods! We were kept up-to-date with daily with videos on Facebook of their daily walks, as well as pictures through text messages. This is the first boarding business that I felt at ease throughout our entire vacation, even halfway across the world. Our dog look like she made herself at home very quickly and was excited for daily cuddles with the humans. She even got a bath before we picked her up! Doggy Woods is our go to place now for doggy care. Nolzy can’t wait to go back and make new friends! 🐶
Doggy Woods is an amazing dog retreat! Our dog Milo absolutely loves it there. We recently boarded him for 2 weeks. He had a blast! They took him on 2 nature walks a day and would post videos of each walk so I could see him if I wanted. They offer great add ons to make it a very personalized experience. We will definitely be bringing him back! Thank you Doggy Woods, you help ease our minds while we are away!
This place is wonderful, and discovering it has been a real blessing for us! We have two dogs, a 14 year old going blind and deaf, and a puppy maybe a year old who was a stray we’d only found about a month earlier. He wasn’t well socialized, or well behaved! The folks at Doggy Woods were so accommodating, and accepting of our dog’s limitations and peculiarities. After their first stay of 4 nights, they came home like different dogs. Our Senior was acting younger, and our puppy was more chill, and much better behaved! And both of them slept like rocks for hours! We’ve been traveling a lot, and we feel so comfortable with the staff and facilities at Doggy Woods, that we’ve boarded 12 nights in a month with a few daycare days as well! Drop offs and pickups are always super smooth. We appreciate the photos they share, the updates, and especially watching the videos on their Facebook page. We plan to continue bringing our dogs there for boarding and daycare. We know it’s the right place, because our dogs get so excited every time we enter their driveway!
Colette and Will were absolutely amazing with our three girls. They have excellent insight to dog behavior with their years of experience with all types of dogs. They were a last minute find for us and really helped us out in a pinch. We can’t believe how lucky we were to find them. The dogs came home exhausted from their fun stay at Doggy Woods. We got several pictures and updates through their stay. Can’t recommend them enough.
Cannot recommend this place enough! My husband and I have been dropping off our two dogs at Doggy Woods off and on now for just over a year and they ALWAYS come back happy and exhausted from long days of fun with the pack! While my husband and I are on vacation, Doggy Woods posts pictures of them on their Facebook page so we know they’re having a blast! Makes leaving a little easier on us. They go on daily walks and are always loved while there! It’s their own home away from home! Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my best friends!! Added some pictures of my best buddies that they posted on their Facebook page. Makes my heart happy!!
We brought our dog here for the first time and he stayed with them for a few days. He had so much fun!! There is so much land for them to play around on. The owners were incredibly kind, responsive, and you can tell they really love and care for all animals. I never worried about the safety or care of our dog while there. 10/10 recommend bringing your fur babies here - it’s a vacation for them! Will definitely be bringing our dog back :)
Kate watched both my dog (Todd) and my sister’s dog (Lenny) at my home over a long holiday weekend. Both being labradoodles, they are energetic and can be a handful. Not only was she able to provide updates and photos each day, she handled them with amazing skill. We came home to a clean house and two very happy pups. I will definitely use her services again, and would highly recommend her to other family and friends!
Kate is simply the best. We trust our Charlie girl with her and know that she cares about Charlie as much as we do. It makes me so happy and relieved to know that Charlie has a sitter who loves her so much and takes such great care of her when we can't be with her. Kate takes her on hour long walks and takes photos of her every time for us. The best part is that Charlie is smiling in all of them! I would highly recommend Kate and I'm so glad we found her!

The owners are friendly to us and our dogs. They are more attentive than other dog boarding companies and took very good care of our 8 month puppy who is still learning to be social. The owners updated us with a video of our dogs every day while we were traveling.
This was our pup's first time being boarded, so we were a little nervous. Kate came highly recommended. I knew when I dropped our pup off, he was in good hands! I got daily photos and/or videos, he looked so happy, and that helped us enjoy our vacation. Glad to have found trusted, high quality care for our dog. We will definitely use Magnolia again!
Kate is amazing with my senior bulldog, Gigi. I travel extensively for work and I leave knowing that Gigi is well cared for and given lots of love. Ashley did an absolutely amazing job! My 13yr old man is not easy to handle he takes special attention and care. He’s really sweet but he’s not great at standing and can be quite a handful when he feels like it but she takes such great care of him. And to top it all off he comes out looking and smelling wonderful. I’ve been going to Ashley for almost a decade now and I’ve continued to follow her to every location she’s groomed at. A good groomer is hard to find and an amazing groomer is 1 in a million. And Ashley is an amazing passionate groomer we’re so thankful to have her around.
My golden retriever has been going to Four-Legged Fun Zone since September, and she LOVES it! When she arrives, she wants to gallop to the back to join her furry friends. She comes home happy and tired every day, which tells me she's had a blast. The outdoor space is huge, with tons of agility equipment. She loves playing with her furry friends both inside and out. The staff is amazing too – so friendly and caring. I highly recommend Four-Legged Fun Zone to any dog owner looking for a top-notch daycare!
I am so happy with the grooming service today! The staff is friendly, professional, and really care about peoples pets! My dog looks amazing after grooming—clean, trimmed, and smelling great! Ashley took extra care to make sure my dog was comfortable, and I could tell she truly loves animals. The shop is clean and welcoming, which makes me feel good about leaving my dog there. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!
I am so grateful and appreciative of the fabulous care Ashley provided my 3 cats while I was out of town. They provided very detailed notes, which is a great comfort to a cat mom. I have recently became acquainted with our new groomer on Saturday afternoon, I wasn't sure as you never know with a new groomer how your hairy baby is gonna turn out. We were given a quick tour of their facility and was offered to have hot chocolate and make my girl, a dog cookie using the decorations they had to choose from. Then only an hour after they took her back they were already done and she looked so adorable and so happy!! Then to top it off we got a free picture of me and my baby girl a free picture!! It was a fun environment, and all the personal were very happy, friendly people, genuinely. It was nice to bring my pup in somewhere where people are so personable and happy I would totally recommend these guys to anyone who is or isn't looking for a new groomer,because once you walk in the door and are greeted with a smiling face you'll be sold Thanks again guys, I'm really happy I chose to change from our previous, blah, and impersonable,overly crowded, scrunched for time, staff,that never made me feel appreciated for my business or even greet me or walk me to the front door like i was here. Tailored Pet Service saved me both before and during my trip when I couldn’t find a place for my elderly small/medium service dog that doesn’t like being in a “free roam group setting.” No place would accommodate her being in a room most of the day as she would THRIVE IN. Or, timing was too close to when I needed to leave. I finally found TAILORED PET SERVICES!! They were quick to reply and gave a detailed and complete estimate/bill. The deposit was reasonable and the rates were beyond competitive. I loved how my girl dog could either be seen at home or be at someone’s home alone or with another dog or two. She has all her vaccinations as required and I got the stool test too as needed. She accommodated me so well and we were able to get my girl in. I met Antigone and her husband and I immediately knew my girl was in good, no, GREAT hands. It was originally for about four days to be kept but an emergency happened medically during the trip and we needed her kept longer and we were accommodated so kindly and they cared so much for me and for my girl. I got photos and updates daily. The photos were better than ones I could take! She looked so so happy! They kept her many many extra days and didn’t charge extra and now I have a forever place for my girl. And, since she has been with them, my girl has become more cuddly and allows us to hold her in our laps more. She even fell asleep in my dads arms the other day. She has never done that due to prior owners to me being abusive. This makes my heart sing knowing she was so, so loved. You won’t regret trusting your loved ones with Tailored Pet Services. Your furry friend will be safe, loved, communication is top notch, and the prices are beyond competitive. I trust them 110% and I love my girl as she’s also my service dog she’s my entire world. I trust her with my parents and boyfriend only after a YEAR. so that’s huge! Four-Legged Fun Zone made training my new puppy, Sunny, a breeze! With Lise’s help, we’ve mastered sit, stay, & lay down. While continuously working on not jumping up. I’m very grateful for the training and time Lise has put into my dog. My dog is a Pitbull/Chihuahua so she’s needed extra help, and Lise has always been there to support us! I highly recommend training with Four-Legged Fun Zone .
We enjoy taking our dog Mitch here for daycare and meet ups. The attention she receives is evident throughout the process, from first signing up to the end of day report card we get after picking up. Mitch has a great time and we feel good knowing she's having fun while we're at work. Convenient pick up and drop off times and location as well.
We've been a customer of TAILored Pet Services for some time, and have had several of their dog walkers. They have all been great. Also, everyone in the business has outstanding communication, from the daily walk reports to working with office staff. I feel like they know our family and care about our dogs. We would leave a 6-star review if we could.
Erik has taken excellent care of our large greyhound since we adopted our pup in March. Greyhounds can be shy and aloof to strangers, but Erik seems to have a natural intuition in engaging with my dog; this is evident during our first meeting, and our boy has maintained a bond with Erik ever since. My significant other and I both have highly demanding jobs, and Erik has been blessing to us especially in caring for our energetic boy both during the day and sometimes overnight home stays. He pays great attention to details, has been flexible with scheduling, and always provide timely updates to let us know how our dog is doing. I knew our pup was in great hands when we arranged a week-long overnight stay with Erik. We have been incredibly pleased with how professional, communicative, and passionate Erik is about taking care of our pup.

Erik has watched our two cats twice now. Both times for four days. One of our cats has asthma and needs an inhaler. Erik has been able to give her this medication with ease and we are so grateful! We have been so impressed with this service. He is prompt and kind. Very communicative. The price is extremely reasonable. This most recent trip, we accidentally got the days wrong and he was able to accommodate! The cats really like him. Professionalism is at a 10! We will definitely hire him whenever we’re out of town and we recommend him to anyone!

We highly recommend Erik (Crazy Dog Man) for pet sitting. We have a large black lab/pit bull/Great Dane mix (Harley) that is a rescue, abused as a pup many years ago. He is therefore apprehensive around new people and takes awhile to gain trust. When Harley met Erik earlier this year, he took to him right away. Erik respects and understands Harley and his needs, especially now that he is a senior dog and has health issues. Erik stays at our house when we are on vacation and the occasional weekend, and provides Harley with exceptional care, including all his medications. Erik is definitely in tune with dogs, no matter their size.
Erik is very capable, conscientious and caring. My three horses and one donkey can be a handful but Erik handled them beautifully. He also did a great job of keeping their stalls, paddock and arena clean. I have recommended him to my friends, because they know I’m very particular about the quality of my pet family’s care. Erik provides that level of care!

Dottie and Shelley have been caring for our three cats for a few years now and always when we return home from our trips the cats are healthy and content. Take a dog who already had separation anxiety PRIOR to the pandemic, spend 16 months with him every day and then finally leaving him at home- we were two very nervous pet parents! We moved to Whidbey last summer and sought out pet care a few months ago anticipating the return back to society. We finally took our trip and left our corgi in care of Tricia's Pet Care and we are SO happy we did. We had two meetings prior to the overnight- one with Tricia and Shelley, our watcher, and then one more a few days before the care. Shelley was absolutely fantastic with Barkley. Having to had flown home to take care of an anxious dog before, she was receptive to our worries and paid extra care and attention to our boy. We got pictures multiple times a day of our happy boy. Even with the 4th of July fireworks, we were able to complete our entire trip stress free knowing Barkley was happy. This to us is priceless! We're so confident in her care that when we were offered a chance at a new puppy, having reliable pet care sealed the deal and we're thrilled to have Shelley, Tricia and team meet our new addition in the fall. They are the perfect mix of compassionate and professional and I am so lucky we found them! Thank you!!
Wow! My first meeting with Tricia and Team. I’m so relieved that I now have a powerful team of dog lovers to care for my two Cream retrievers. Maui is 12 and Kona is 7 months. This team came prepared to ask questions as they each built a profile for each of my dogs. Talk about thorough, these guys were very very impressive. They reviewed all the key points of interest, and left with all of my immediate dates short term and further out. Since we moved to Whidbey Island in 2012, Tricia and her team have been taking care of our pets whenever we go away. It's very easy to see that our pets are well-cared for during our absence. Upon our return home, they are always waiting to greet us, as though we'd only be gone a few hours. Tricia's has taken care of other issues that might impact our pets, such as a smoke detector located very high off the ground, that was chirping incessantly because its batteries were failing. She's also been known to walk quite a ways thru snow when it was too risky to drive down our street, and also has climbed over a large tree that was blocking our street. She (and her team) are the absolute BEST!!!

Our dog sitter situation fell through, so we opted to bring our dog here for a few days for boarding. They took excellent care of our Pyrenees while we were out of town. Great facilities, good communication, and lots of space for your dog to be social with other pups while you’re away.
Bone-a-fide is a godsend for people with high energy dogs. I used to spend a minimum of two hours after my workday making sure my 18 month old pup got enough exercise and mental stimulation. Now, on days when he goes to daycare, we both have peaceful evenings at home. (Pictured: a very sleepy post daycare Cowboy) Additionally, the prices are beyond reasonable, everyone who works there is very kind, and they ALWAYS put the well-being of the dogs first.
We boarded our 2 Dachshunds for the first time with Bone-A-Fide and are so glad, that we found that place whenever we need to board our 2 pups. Staff is very friendly & responded to emails right away to let us know, how the dogs were doing (thanks so much Brittany:)) - we can highly recommend the place!
My rascal of a terrier ABSOLUTELY LOVES going to daycare at Bone A Fide! He can’t wait to play with the big dogs all day and comes home a very happy and tired pup! Every one of the staff that I have met has been friendly and clearly enjoys working with the dogs. I am confident that in their care he will be safe and well cared for! I had a Doberman who needed a lot of room to run and I couldn’t give it to him. I ended up let this dog I really loved, go. He needed to be a dog so bad. They did not have a place like this when I had Blue. Ma’am your dog really wants to be a dog, not a human. Dogs want to have fun and play. None of us are perfect. Not any business not any human or animal. We all are placed here on earth to figure this place out and do the very best we can. This business is no different. Perhaps they need some suggestions or constructive feedback. Please don’t turn your back on them because of a mistake. This place is trying something that they feel is good for the animals. This is the first of there kind. They are trying and they need support of people like you and me. Look over their ads and what they advertise. For me, it makes me want to go get a job there. It’s not about us, it’s about the animals well-being! That alone speaks volumes. That’s so cool! God bless you and yours. I really hope for your animals sake and for you being the owner and able to provide your four legged friend a fun place to go when he or she cant have you! Please reconsider your decision, that’s what your animal is saying.
Our dog loves it here and they are such kind people. Worth the drive from Seattle for a place with more space for the dog to run around when we are out of town
I'm sorry but I don't care what kind of business you have when your female driver, driving in a company marked van can be so selfish and rude on the highway. Am I supposed to take your info and call you for service when your driver in the company van brings everyone to an abrupt stop, dangerously, going 65 miles an hour in the toll lane, so she could illegally cut over across the double white line so that she could get off at the 522 interchange towards Woodinville, across all the lanes on southbound 405 so that she didn't have to wait in line like everyone else? Let's not forget about the part where, when everyone was honking at her, she blew everyone kisses and was a completely rude and unprofessional person. (in the COMPANY vehicle.) No thanks. I will forever tell anyone who will listen how unprofessional this company is, and how I would NEVER want my dog being transported this way. Someone who can't even control themselves while completely representing their business name and number doesn't need access to my loved ones or my patronage. I would not recommend this to anyone, especially my loved ones.
Our 2 year old hound mix has been going to Bone-A-Fide for a couple of months now, and she absolutely loves it! Our dog has more energy than two working parents can possibly burn off with morning and evening runs/walks, so the dog ranch has been a life saver for us. Our girl comes home calm and tired, and ready to relax for the evening. A big bonus is that there is a shuttle service available for certain areas around town, so she gets picked up and dropped off at our house each day. On the days when I go to the ranch to pick her up, she doesn’t even want to leave. I have to drag her out of there, so you know they are having a great time!
I've been taking my puppy here for a little while now, and they are amazing. Four, my pupper, comes home tired everytime he goes to daycare - which is so helpful as he's a very active Australian Shepherd. When I drop him off in the morning, he is always super excited and runs to the office so he can go play. All the employees I have met are nice and know Four. Definitely recommended for people with high enery dogs who love to play with other dogs.
Really struggled finding a boarding facility with access to the outdoors. The staff are knowledgeable and kind and I really appreciated their quick response over email.
Terrible place... If i could have given less than 1 star, I would have. We boarded our dog on the 19th Dec and picked her up on the 23rd. We had already informed the team that she is not good with all dogs. They assured us they would try slow introductions and if it doesn't work out she would get individual playtime/walks (for which we obviously had prepaid extra). The day we pick her up she was a different dog completely. Her usually happy behaviors were all gone. We thought may be she was just very well tired out and needed some time to recover. We asked at the reception how the boarding went and they assured us that she had a perfect score and it went all fine. Our interaction there with our dog was just receive her from the staff there, put her in the car and immediately drive back home. As soon as she reached home we notice a huge and deep gash on her bum with blood pooling inside. We immediately call CCCC and whoever picked up says oh yes she got into an altercation with a dog on the 20th and had been bitten by that dog. They apparently checked her for injuries. Mind you, this was the 23rd when we had picked her up. My poor dog did not get any medical attention for 2 whole days. And if we would have left her there any longer she would not have gotten any attention for that entire time as well. She could have had sepsis and things could have taken an awfully wrong turn. I beleive the staff at CCCC is not to be trusted. They did not even care to notice a huge gash on our dog. She is a malamute and she has a lot of fur, but that wound was so easily visible that unless they interacted with their eyes closed, there is no chance a person would miss noticing that wound. I also noticed someone in the reviews mentioning that only half the food of what might have been measured was fed to the dogs. I noticed that too as well. I stronly urge CCCC to hire competent staff, because this is beyond outrageous.
Took my perfectly healthy happy dog there, he was there for two nights and now he is not the same dog I dropped off. He's skinny, they only gave him half the amount of food I sent with him that I had measured out prior to bringing him. And he came out limping and they said nothing about it when I asked them about it they acted like he got it on the walk out then claimed it was from being in the water at play time. We live by a river that he swims in everyday so that’s certainly not what happened, his entire paw is swollen and he can’t even step on it. He looks and acts absolutely traumatized and malnourished. I never leave reviews like this but when it comes to what I consider my child I will prevent it from happening to someone else’s. Will be hiring a pet sitter next time.
We were so nervous to board our 2-year-old bubs for the first time. We had never been away from them. The staff is so wonderful, so kind and patient with us when we called every morning to check on them. Our boys loved it there, they were able to socialize and play with other dogs and we will be taking them there for daycare. Such a great place to take our dogs with peace of mind that they are adored and cared for so well.
My dog seemed to love it and was very happy dropping off and when I picked him up. And they didn't seem bothered at all when I called to check up on him Update: it's been almost two years since I brought my dogs in! They stayed for 7 days this time! My one dog is very skittish and not a people lover. They both did great! They seemed to be well taken care of! They did walks everyday and I was able to call for updates. I was so nervous dropping my younger dog off but now I think I will be ok next time they go!
I had a fantastic experience at Canine Country Club and Cattery during my first visit! The staff was friendly and genuinely cared for my dog, making us feel completely at ease. The facility was clean and well-organized. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable and caring dog daycare!
I have used canine country club a few different times and I have always been happy with their service. The pups seem to be excited when we drop them off and they are always happy and normal when they come home. Highly recommend. Good pricing too. I like that they offer walks and play time.
Been going here for years! Took my pup there for a weekend, no worries about him...I think I needed a kennel too. They treat my dogs like gold!!
Phenomenal group of folks here. Our dog Nakita now gets so excited when she's realizing where she's going! They take care to report on anything that occurs during the stay which just lends to a peace of mind you won't get anywhere else. And when Nakita sees any of the staff she's instantly happy and excited to see them. Ten stars if I could!
Our dogs always have a great time. Staff are friendly and helpful. We love knowing our dogs are safe and well cared for.
Very nice people. My dog loves coming here and is always excited to go. Rates are good, and I feel they take good care of my dog. Hours could be longer but are adequate to work an 8 hour day with an hour commute each way.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff at CCR for caring for our big fur baby, German Shepherd Jack! We are happy to know we have such a great place on the island that he is able to stay for any future trips we go on and that we can trust he is in good hands while we are away. We had a very happy reunion, picking him up and played when he got home, and he's out snoozing and acting like his normal happy self. I was actually also very pleasantly surprised by how clean he is from playing outside during his stay in the middle of a very rainy past few days! I also really appreciated the photo updates and the report card from his stay. Thank you again!!❤️
We love our family friendly local canine resort! Aurora looks forward to weekly daycare and without hesitation we board for all of our extended vacations! This is home away from home for her! The staff treats her as their own. Now I'll be the first to admit, she is High energy, super obnoxious, extremely demanding and an attention seeker....these traits in themselves require special care for our cattle herding beast! CCR is absolutely the best! Always extending loving and attentive care! If you are looking for an extended family who is devoted to your babies CCR would be my first recommendation on the Island.
AMAZING! We had booked at the wrong kennel on the island, when we meant to book here. Since we didn’t want to have our dog stay at a place we never saw due to them not letting us tour, we decided to try our luck and see if they had an opening. They were able to get our dog in for the weekend, and didn’t charge any extra fees for anything. Thank you Kayla for helping us and being a lifesaver during our chaotic weekend!! Also she had really cool dyed hair.
We took our dogs here for a little over 3 years. The past few months have been a disaster with staffing changes; definitely not the same as when Susan ran the business. We found out on numerous occasions that our dogs were being isolated and not let out with the rest of the dogs. What's the point of taking them to day care if they're not being able to play with other dogs and socialize? We have 2 females and one male, all hounds who are very sweet and love people as well as other animals. We were told that some of the newer male dogs did not like our male dog and we found out that the new owner allows intact males. We have never been to a day care that allows intact males or females that are not spayed. This is a dangerous practice and not fair to the other dogs. I tried to have a conversation with the new owner but she pretty much ghosted me; has not returned my text messages or phone messages. Bad business!
Camano Canine Resort is my dog's home away from home. In 2021 when my husband became ill I needed a safe place for our year old goldendoodle. Chelsi and her entire staff were there for me. Sometimes before opening, sometimes late. At times we never knew when CCR would be needed, but that never mattered. They were always there, supporting me, my family and most of all my new puppy. I have seen the care and love given to my dog and pets of others. The staff greets me and my dog by name. She wags her tail enthusiastically in anticipation of getting to stay and play. I highly recommend CCR. It's November 2022 and CCR is still the place we count on for loving care. Thank you, Chelsi and all the wonderful helpers! Charlie & EeBe

We have boarded out two small dogs multiple times, ranging from two to nine nights here. The staff is always wonderful and is happy to see our dogs! I would (and have) recommend them to anyone with a dog that needs some overnight boarding. They get playtime with other like dogs, lots of snuggles and pets, we've never had an issue. Wonderful place!
Knowledgeable, kind and caring staff. The kennels and play yards are maintained beautifully. Furthermore, I appreciate the effort that is made to separate dogs that are dangerous or that just don't get along. I have two dogs that are super sweet alone, but I would never allow them to be alone with certain other dogs that may be super sweet at home. Management here understands this and so do I because I visit at least every other day.
My pup seems to have enjoyed herself. I was given a tour and my pup had a successful meet and greet with their home pup Elinor. She was groomed well and happy. I'll be bringing her back.
