Starlet was a great sitter to my 3 cats. She would send pictures, videos and updates of my cats. She kept the house tidy and fed my cats well, cleaned their litters daily and spent time with them while I was gone. She even stripped the bed and put them in the washer:) I will definitely have her back!!
It was fantastic housesitting and taking care of Lily and Ernie! They are great cats! Ernie liked to go out at night and would return in the morning. Lily was a homebody who stuck around. They would both would hang out with me as I was working remotely. Lily liked to play with her toy and Ernie loved eating! They were a joy to take care of and I would definitely go back! The house was close to a cove and Mackworth Island which you could walk around. The interior of their home is spectacular. Kathy and Ned showed me around the house and are wonderful hosts! It was a great place to stay! I loved it! It was a beautiful setting and I highly recommend if you have a chance to housesit here to do it!
Our stay in Pensacola at Shannon's house was fantastic. Taking care of Mojo and Jojo, the sweet and low-maintenance dogs, and Angel, the playful cockatoo, was a delight. Shannon provided clear instructions, making everything very easy. The neighborhood is great, with a park opposite and cafes, bars, and groceries within a short walk. Highly recommended for a unique housesitting experience.
Luna is adorable! A little white ball of fluff! And Monty is the most chilled, friendly and fluffy cat! We really enjoyed this short weekend sit. Eva's cottage is beautiful and homely. It was lovely to meet Eva before the sit, she is very approachable and a great communicator. She was also flexible regarding whether all or some of us were going to stay over, as we are local. My boys enjoyed brushing them both and all of the cuddles. Monty has a catflap and is happy to be indoors or out.
This sit was a delight in so many ways. Susan and Alan made us feel incredibly welcome in their comfortable home which nestles on the bank of the river. The surrounding area is full of bird life, the garden is a delight making it the perfect place to relax. The two cats are very easy to care for and sleep most of the time unless it's time to eat when they will remind you in case you've forgotten! We appreciated the kindness and generosity of this lovely couple and after a hundred sits or so (we've lost count) this one is up there with the best. Highly recommended.
Richard and Sandra were wonderful hosts and each of the pets were enjoyable to be around. We were left well prepared and fully briefed. The pets were all well mannered and their routines simple to follow. Everyone warmed up to us easily and made us feel at home. The dogs love to get out and showed us all the paths on the property. The cats like to play and sleep in a cozy spot. It was fun to learn all of their individual personalities. Richard & Sandra's home is a special example of Minnesota's north woods. Private, wooded, with a picturesque lake to explore. Groceries, restaurants, everything you need is close by. We'd highly recommend sitting with Richard and Sandra and hope to find the opportunity to do it again ourselves.
Linda and her family were an absolute dream to dog sit with. I would take her two dogs in a New York second. They were so much fun.
