Edward and Crystal recently house sat for me, and they were amazing. I was concerned because I currently have 2 foster cats in addition to my already full house of 3 cats and a dog, Hank. But they are the warmest, most caring people you could hope for to take care of your fur babies. They took great care to take their time with the foster cats, who are very shy and nervous. They have such a calm energy and that greatly comforted me and all the animals. It is obvious that have a lot of experience with animals, and they were not at all daunted by taking care of so many at my house. I was at first a little hesitant to have any children in a house sit. But I was immediately put at ease with Zen. He is kind, smart, calm, listens well, and loving with animals. My neighbor told me she would see Zen in the window reading to Hank. This is the only house sit in which Hank has been sad when the house sitters left. He always loves his sitters, and they have all taken great care of him. But this time, he sat by the door waiting to see Zen again. My cats were equally at ease when I came home. The fosters were out and playing, and the little shyest one was following Edward around the house. Edward and Crystal are so relaxed but at the same time very capable and responsible. They were timely, communicated well with me before and during the sit, sending me updates, pictures, and videos. I had different people coming in and out of the house to take care of various things and they managed all of this – coordinating times, communicating messages, sorting through my mail to get a particularly important letter to where it needed to go. During my trip I was often without internet or phone and Crystal and Edward handled everything. Because I live in a condo building, I am grateful when my neighbors are happy with my house sitters. My neighbors loved Edward and Crystal and especially Zen, loved that they were sociable, respectful, quiet, and just such a lovely family. And having so many pets in the house takes a toll but they kept things clean, organized, and even washed the linens for me before I got home. It was amazing to come home after 32 hours of flights and just be able to get into a clean bed. They were also very understanding and flexible when I realized I had made a mistake with the booking dates of my trip. I also felt that having 2 people to care for the animals was a huge bonus. Everyone was happy when I got home, and it was clear that they had all gotten lots of love and attention. I highly recommend Crystal and Edward for your house sit. The more animals the merrier is their philosophy. And having Zen be part of the sit was one of the best things about it. He gave so much joy to Hank and he was very calm and sweet with the cats. Edward and Crystal communicate well, are reliable, experienced, clean and tidy, and flexible. I would gladly have them back any time.
Scarlett was so professional and she took such good care of my 8 month old puppy, Bentley. She took him to the park and let him run daily and is very active and outdoors with him. She provided pictures and video's regularly. When I arrived back home after a week, Bentley was very attached to Scarlett and did not want her to leave. He stayed right by her side until she had to leave. She was a pleasure to deal with and she left my home very clean. I would highly recommend her. It is very clear that she loves to care for other's pets. I plan to have her watch Bentley in the future if possible and our schedules line up.
