We had an absolutely fabulous time housesitting for Gemma and her family! Barney was by far the star of the show! He was such a sweetie, we were rubbing his belly the first night we stayed there! Bernie stayed away most days but came in the afternoon and was very comfortable to be around. I never got to pet her but my daughter did :) The chickens were easy and even gave us enough wonderful fresh eggs to eat while we were there. We did throw them a few greens which they seemed to enjoy and came running to us when it was time to eat. So cute! The guinea pigs were so adorable! Pretty shy, but so fun to pet! They did love their greens, too! Gemma's house is close to everything we wanted to see within a days drive. One week was not long enough! Their house is beautiful and you can tell they are a very loving and amazing family. Since we love to cook, I was happy to find the kitchen well stocked with all the pots and pans and utensils and spices we needed to cook with! I would highly recommend staying at Gemma's house and would be more than happy to stay there again if the chance arises! Thank you so much, Gemma!
