Ros and John were wonderful hosts. Sadly, they lost Little Cat just before my arrival but still opened their lovely home to me. I had a very peaceful stay, many long walks. Thanks so much for having me.
Alice & Ben are a very friendly young couple who were a joy to communicate with. We didn't meet them face to face but had a very helpful pre sit video call with them and found them very easy to communicate with during the sit. We fell in love with Stella and Jessy very quickly. Jessy was quite shy to start with, hiding under a bed and staying out of the house for most of the first day and evening. (thank you Alice for reassuring us that this was normal behaviour). However by day 2 she had decided we were ok! Over the course of our 6 days we really enjoyed our interactions with both cats as they got more friendly with us, enjoying head rubs, and banging into us. They make some delightful noises, and enjoyed watching us play scrabble in the garden. The house and garden are very comfortable, with everything you need easy to find. The location is great with a short walk to Shirley High Street and all its amenities and plentiful buses into the City. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be allowed to return.
I had amazing time with Scrappy and Milo! They are both really gentle, loving and low-maintenance dogs. Totnes is one of the cutest little towns I’ve seen, and having walks by the river with the dogs were so relaxing every morning. Unfortunately I could not see Deborah in person, however she was really helping and communicative the whole process and was a text message away whenever I needed.🤍🤍
What a lovely time I had with Winston - he is such a relaxed, sweet boy. We had lots of great chats in the stunning gardens in the sun! Staying at Leanne & Douglas's was so lovely too. A clean, comfortable home & they made me so welcome.
We really enjoyed our time at Tina’s looking after Gizmo and Nala. Tina was easy to communicate with, wrote a detailed welcome guide and she checked in to see we had everything we needed. Lovely house and garden in a nice village which was accessible by local buses or a super walk along the canal to Pulteney bridge in the centre in 35 mins. The cats were great fun, Nala liked to play on the bed in the morning and Gizmo enjoyed outdoors. All round brilliant stay.
Great stay! Jane was very kind in picking us up and dropping us off to the train station whilst making us feel right at home! Filou is a gentle soul who loves cuddles and affection, and gets very excited when he knows he’s going for a walk! Saint Gervais is a beautiful township, and one bus to Chamonix.
