Watching the snow fall outside from the main picture window in the main living area is like being in a fairy tale! The wood stove and pellet stove heat the study and main living area beautifully. Abi helped us with managing the pellet stove. Check with her about what to expect with your cell carrier coverage.
I enjoyed my stay here with these four cute critters. They each have their sweet, fierce and goofy ways of being and I loved them all. Hanging in the hot tub under the stars with the pine trees was a highlight of my time here. And Chris was responsive and kind.
I loved both Mo and Finley. Mo is super lovable from the beginning. Finley takes longer to get to know and is also super sweet. He made me laugh a lot. Lori was great, communicated well with me and I always felt at ease in her home. Being so close to Woodstock is a plus. It’s a nice walk to Heart coffee, New Seasons, the library and restaurants.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Lizzie and Dave's home and caring for their animal family. Lizzie and Dave were very welcoming and had everything organised for us to ensure that our stay went smoothly. Lizzie's step by step guide for looking after the birds was very helpful. Peggy is the loveliest most obedient dog you could meet. She was a delight! The 2 indoor birds, Gigsie and Lexie are both characters and easy to look after. The external aviaries probably took me 1.25 hours each day with most of that being the afternoon hose and clean. Pegsy loves her 2 daily walks. The house and garden is very comfortable and an easy 10 minute walk to beach and 10 minute drive to train into Perth. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have had the opportunity to do this housesit and would highly recommend to others. Thank you Lizzie and Dave 😊
We had a brilliant stay at Penny and Swannie's lovely home in Fendalton. It had everything you'd need and more. Leo is such a little sweetie - really calm, loving and affectionate. We especially enjoyed our morning cuddles with him and playing stick in neighbouring Hagley Park. Penny and Swanny were kind, welcoming and took so much time to help us understand the intricacies of the house which was much appreciated! Hopefully see you all around CHCH 😊
I relished my time in Beth's charming and peaceful house in Boulder. Her pets were nice company. Beth is easy going and gracious.
