We hit it off immediately with Samantha and Tony which made us feel so welcome in their lovely home. We were very comfortable with a choice of full ensuite bedrooms, they really know how to spoil their sitters and are so organised having had several sitters in the past. Hamish and Jacko are very friendly and affectionate dogs who loved their walks around the beautiful rural area. Even though Hamish is a really big dog, he’s keen to sit on your lap. Max is very fond of a cuddle and loves being combed all over. The area is very quiet and peaceful but there plenty of facilities within a few miles and Rothley itself is a quaint little village with a great bakery and local pubs. We hope to catch up with Sam and Tony again and would recommend this sit to anyone.
We had a great stay in Wassenaar. Leslie and her family made us feel very welcome upon arrival, the house was warm, clean and there were even flowers and a welcome package for us. The kitties are easy to take care for and lovely to have around. Cleo is everywhere you are and loves attention, playing and to be pet. Cleo has a grey mouse she takes everywhere. We found it on the stairs, in the bathroom, on the bed and even under the Christmas tree. It made our day! Sunny is shy but lovely, she comes often downstairs to eat, drink and see what's happening there. We also went upstairs everyday to have a little chat with her and hopefully she enjoyed our company too. The house is beautiful and warmly decorated, has great comford with lots of space and we really enjoyed the fireplace during Christmas. The location is great. We really enjoyed the dunes and beach. The grocerystore is also closeby. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful home! We would highly recommend you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the dogs are incredibly friendly, affectionate and really enjoyed their walks. They have lots of energy, are friendly and sociable on walks and really enjoyed play time too. The house is stunning, we were made to feel very welcome, there was everything we needed, and nearby there are plenty of shops, takeaways, places to eat.
It was such a pleasure to take care of Steffi’s pets and home. We had great communication the entire time. We were a little late due to a few issues with our navigation and car, however we kept Steffi up to date. The home was really nice, the pets very easy and well behaved. The location was perfectly situated in a small leafy town close to many shops and the station was 10min drive away. Steffi did a wonderful job to provide us with details of how to take care of the home and the pets. Very much would recommend spending time taking care of Steffi’s home and pets.
