Dog Sitters in Spring Hill, IN

Adrienne is such a warm, fun, outgoing lady. She took wonderful care of Harley & Rusty, walking them at least twice a day. She definitely bonded with them. She sent pictures & kept us updated while we were gone. Adrienne seemed to enjoy her time here (taking lots of pictures). She met many of our neighbors & their dogs. It was nice she came a full day ahead of time so that we could show her around The Villages, especially getting around in our golf cart to restaurants, grocery stores, an entertainment area & swimming pool. After driving Adrienne around in the golf cart the day she arrived, my husband had her drive the golf cart the next morning before we left so she could get familiar with driving it. She did struggle with finding her way around in the golf cart after we left, even though we left maps of The Villages & told her about The Villages app with GPS. Because she was uncomfortable getting around in the golf cart, she asked a neighbor to help her & he took her to get groceries. We feel bad that she wasn't able to find her way around while she was here. We've labelled the light/fan switches in the house. Some of the switches (indicated with a red dot) control lights that are on a timers and we informed Adrienne about the meaning of the red dot. She must have accidentally manually turned off the living room light that was on a timer and didn't realize it, so it was dark in the living room. We typically leave out extra light bulbs in case one goes out. Well, we forgot this time to leave them out & of course, a bulb in the guest bedroom went out while we were gone. But Adrienne was self sufficient & used the lantern I left. Upon our return, she indicated she didn't contact us to find out where extra bulbs were because the lantern worked fine; so glad she found a solution! The only downside of this sit was the cleanliness of our home upon our return. Our dogs primarily stay in the enclosed lanai & they go outside through the lanai door. When they come in from outside, dried grass comes in on their paws (especially when it's damp outside) so we're totally understanding about grass in the lanai. However, there was a lot of dried grass in the house, especially the kitchen. When I mentioned it to Adrienne, she said it must have come in on her shoes because the dogs had not been in the house. Also, something had run over in the microwave & hadn't been cleaned up so I had to clean the microwave before I could use it the night of our return. Dishes were left in the dishwasher. Adrienne did wash the guest bedroom sheets before we came home, but she stayed the night of our return & slept in the bed again (she said she only sleeps on the very edge of the bed so the other side was clean for the next people using the guest bedroom). We really liked Adrienne & she was excellent with our dogs, which is the most important thing! We would ask her to sit for us again with our expectations of home cleanliness.

So happy to have Katie and Scott as our pet sitters! Leading up to the sit through getting home they were extremely communicative and left me reassured my dog was in good hands! I got several pictures throughout the stay and came home to a spotless home. Would definitely recommend having Katie and Scott for your pet sitting needs!

Jaclyn immediately left a great impression on us. She drove about halfway across the country for this sit and we're very happy she did. She was very responsive and took great care of our pup. Very organized as well in terms of arranging her departure time. We were greeted by a happy dog when we came back and found a kind little note on our table. We would definitely have Jaclyn back!

Robin was amazing and the absolute sweetest! She has great communication prior to, during, and after the stay. She sent regular updates and I came back to a super clean and neat house as if no one has stayed there. She was a gem and Im so happy we connected. I know Lady was well taken care of while I was away.

Steve and Laurie were absolutely wonderful. I recommend them highly! During the week they stayed at my house, my four pets were extremely well taken care of. When I got home, I found happy, relaxed pets and a clean, tidy house. Steve and Laurie were kind, friendly, on time, communicative, neat, and basically everything one would like in a housesitter. As for the petsitting part, my dogs pretty much adored them, and so did the cats. While I was gone, I got a photo of the pets each day, which is something I love. When I got home, the beds had been changed and the laundry had been done. Clean sheets and towels...it was like I was still on vacation. Thanks, Steve and Laurie, for taking such good care of my pets and home!

This is the second time Michelle has stayed with Ruthie and Rosie. She is quick to respond to all communication and you can count on her to arrive on time as promised. Michelle reached out with any questions she had and left the house in perfect order. Do not hesitate to sign her up as your housesitter!

Kelly and her daughter were excellent sitters, and we loved having them stay to watch our cat. Kelly was very clean, responsible, and organized. She was very proactive with communication leading up to the sit, and she was extremely reliable and sent lots of great updates and pictures during the sit as well. I would definitely recommend Kelly, and we would be more than happy to have her back in the future!

Abbie was phenomenal! This was certainly the most difficult and eventful sit we've ever handed off to anyone and we were lucky to have her for it. She was so communicative, adaptable, reliable, and handled all the unexpected events with understanding and good humor. Our dog Tuna is people-shy, dog-reactive and had a health scare prior to the sit, so Abbie had some extra responsibilities from the start. In addition to the daily medical updates we requested, she also sent extra photos and little snippets of their daily happenings. We could see how comfortable Tuna was getting with her! When Tuna refused to go down our usual off-leash trails for unknown personal canid reasons, Abbie pivoted and explored until she was able to find an alternate route for long walks. Leash walking around a neighborhood is never as fun as off-leash trails, but Abbie was committed to getting Tuna's daily exercise in and safely led her through the local traffic (tricky when your nosy dog likes watch oncoming cars from the middle of the road). When a large loose dog charged at them, Abbie kept Tuna calm and kept both dogs safely separated until the owner was able to wrangle their dog back inside. We came back to a clean house, happy plants, and of course, a happy Tuna. We'd recommend Abbie anywhere!

Dan and Patty 6 were such a joy to have as sitters. They took great care of Kona and our home, leaving it spotless when we returned. They sent ua updates in thier sit and pictures of Kona havung a blast out and about with them... Our friends at the dog park connected with them as well. ... We wouldn't hesitate to have them back.

Maggie watched our 2 year old golden retriever while we were out of the country for 9 days. She was very self reliant and took great care of Max and our home. She communicated well with us leading up to the trip, was responsive during the trip and left our house clean and with fresh linens. Thanks Maggie!

Courtney was fantastic. This was my first time using a dog sitter and I was anxious. Buster is 16 years old and requires meds and tons of company to alleviate anxiety. Courtney was great with Buster, took great care with his meds/walks, etc. She is a joy to deal with, extremely communicative and my house was in better order when I got home from my trip than when I left it! I was lucky to get her -- and you will be, too. Fingers crossed she is available the next time I need someone!
