This was the longest we'd ever left Charlie, and Lucy was a dream! Very communicative and organised, but also flexible when our holiday dates changed slightly. She kept in touch about Charlie (just the right amount - not too often but not too quiet!) and even looked after him when he had a bad tummy. The bedding was laundered by the time we got home, so that saved me some time. Thank you so much Lucy - we'd love to have you back again if you'd like to visit the Wirral again some day!
We chose Bohidar & Dzhansel from Bulgaria to sit with our cat Frank for a week. They were doing a sit with a cat in London when we met for a chat on WhatsApp. A lovely young couple, with good experience - we'd found our sitters. Sadly, Dzhansel couldn't come in the end because of study commitments. Luckily, Bohidar honoured the agreement & came on his own. He arrived the day before so we could spend the time showing him how things work, get to know Frank, feed him & play with him. Bozhidar is a footy fan who collects football shirts. He hit it off with my husband Martin, who is a lifelong LUFC fan & has shirts dating back to 1959! Bozhidar didn't mind crashing on our sofa bed in the living room for the 1st night or us being up early to catch a flight. He is quite obviously a cat person, having instant rapport with Frank. (Frank brought him a mouse to play within 2 minutes!) Good level communication Pictures, no problems & we came home to a wonderfully Tidy & clean apartment. Most importantly, a very happy cat. We hope to see him again when he brings his beautiful girlfriend to VLC. Maybe sit with Frank again... :)
