Gumbo is absolutely adorable! He is the coolest dog, very calm and relaxed. He likes going on a wander and meeting new people. We had a great time looking after him. Mallory and Lukas were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Would highly recommend a stay with Gumbo 😊

Lola and Eddie are so sweet. They are chill and easy. Their parents are wonderful. The home is beautiful and inviting. Detailed instructions left no doubt or concern for me.
I look forward to hanging out with Lola and Eddie again.

We have had a wonderful week at Emma’s house.

The home is stunning and gardens are absolutely beautiful. It’s a close walk to shops, cafes and a deli. With beautiful walks nearby. There is a bus into Bristol and Bath and Glastonbury were close by for day trips. Bertie joined us in Glastonbury which was very pet friendly.

The pet guide hadn’t been updated but there was a list on the fridge and Emma was super quick at responding to questions.

The animals were all so wonderful to look after.

Bess was a gentle old girl, she didn’t want walks but was happy in the garden. She was moulting a lot but really enjoyed a brush in the garden.

Bertie ( my little shadow) is a sensitive boy, he is wary at first and was definitely more nervous of my husband. He did growl a few times but it wasn’t a concern as I could tell he was nervous and he soon settled. He was a very well natured dog and loved playing ball with my children who are 4&7. He only likes to poo off the lead and his recall was fantastic.

The cats are lovely, Ray in the annex was super sweet with my youngest daughter and Nell slept on the kids bed at night which theywere happy about.

The goats are cheeky characters and were a new experience for us. The goats aren’t allowed to eat the apple trees so of course this is their favourite thing to do so we had fun chasing them about making sure they didn’t eat the leaves. They always come back for food and were easy to care for.

I want to give a huge thank you to Emma for the hospitality and leaving us bread, cake and wine.

We would love the opportunity to come back to Chew Magna again. It was a fantastic first sit for us with trusted house sitters.

It was such a joy to care for Stella at Mike's place in Capitol Hill!
Stella is a beautiful cat and is great to hang out with. She loves being brushed as well as just chilling on the couch.
Mike's place is an amazing one bedroom apartment very close to Lincoln Park and within walking distance of Eastern Market, including the Eastern Market Metro stop.
Mike left the apartment incredibly clean and well-organized prior to my arrival and was amazing with communication.
I highly recommend this sit and would love to care for Stella again!
