This was an incredible experience. Scooby is an absolutely amazing dog, so affectionate and intelligent and fun to hang out with! We developed a very close relationship, and he took incredible care of me. He honestly has one of the best personalities of any dog I've ever met. He's a teenager and doesn't love to be on leash (who does, really), but on most of the walks you can let him run free, so it's not a big deal. Cleo is the most darling cat, and you get such a big payoff when she starts to like you. Every night she would wait for me to tuck myself in and then would climb up and snuggle into my neck. I love her. The house is sooo comfortable and incredibly charming -- a true treasure in the area. There are tons of books, a piano, and a luscious fireplace. The bed is really comfortable. You can buy fresh milk from the farm next door, there is a gorgeous abbey and a cute restaurant in the village, and there are beautiful walks all around. Kirsten and Anthony were absolutely wonderful taking their time to show me the ropes and made me dinner when I arrived! I will always cherish my time staying there!!
