I loved living at Lynda and Barry's for 3 weeks. Basil and I had many adventures locally and further afield. He is adorable, loving, well trained, and loyal. I've missed him since I left! The local walking is stunning countryside and their house is extremely comfortable. Lynda and Barry welcomed me into their home and made me feel very comfortable. I'm honoured they trusted me with their much loved giant furbaby. When I can, I'll be back for cuddles with Basil and a chat!
We had the most wonderful time staying at Chris and Cathies. Ruby And Millie are the most well-behaved and sweet girls we have ever had the pleasure of looking after (and we have looked After a lot of dogs!). They were as good as gold on walks by staying close by when they were off-lead, aswell as being great at recall which made things very easy and relaxing. We were most at ease and pleased to see how chilled and lovely they were with our 7 month old baby. The house itself is so beautiful, and is in such a stunning setting, with countryside walks literally on the door-step. It is a true countryside retreat. Would highly recommend!
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Madehurst, such a pity it was for only a few days. The house is set in beautiful countryside high on the South Downs but within easy reach of local towns such as Chichester. What made our time particularly special were Honey and Toast the two dogs! They are so affectionate and well behaved, we literally walked out the house on the first day without leads on either dog and they wandered with us along the paths. They know the area so well they could have been our guides. Tory the owner did everything possible to make sure our stay was comfortable even to the point of sending us videos of the house to show us where everything was, thank you Tory.
This was a wonderful sit! Fiona and especially Toni are supremely sweet and yet also hilarious lil creatures, we've had a great time hanging out with them. They're always down to play too! The flat is cozy, spacious, and really well-equipped - we felt super comfortable. Rachel is a caring and thoughtful host, which was really appreciated. Communication was easy and immediate, the instructions were clear, I could go on but the key takeaway is - highly recommended:)
After a lovely, relaxed meal with Mike and Sarah we were introduced to the dogs and house ready for our 10 days before they left the following morning. A beautiful spacious, comfortable home with stunning views and gardens. Coco and Roxy are the easiest dogs ever! We really enjoyed lots of cuddles from the bouncy, ever happy Coco, and Roxy is just the sweetest walking teddybear you could ever come across. They were a sheer pleasure to be around and I found saying goodbye really quite difficult. We'd go back to look after them again in a heartbeat if necessary. Thank you so much for having us.
Heinz was an absolute pleasure to hang out with! He was cuddly and affectionate. Somehow we became an old couple instantly, we watched Netflix together and politely shared the bed at night. His personality is the exact right mix of cuddly and independent. Margot and Matt are wonderful people. I almost wished that they were staying during the sit! They were easy to communicate with and I was never afraid to ask them any questions. They made sure to make me feel welcome in their home. I was given many recommendations on restaurants and where to buy groceries in the nearby area. And what's most important to me-you can tell that they love Heinz dearly and care about the well-being of that gentleman first and foremost. I had a wonderful time in Amsterdam and would 100% recommend doing a pet sit for M&M&H.
