Everything went super smooth and enjoyable. Abel and Belén were always amazing, and Willie is a sweet, loving cat. We had a great time in Geneva.
The guys recommended many spectacular hikes and even lent us their trekking poles. Thanks for everything!
Willie did home office with us; he is a fantastic companion. We played a lot and enjoyed every shared moment.
The apartment couldn't be better. The location is superb, and the amenities were just perfect.
Thanks again for choosing us!

Be warned: You WILL NOT LEAVE THE SAME PERSON YOU WERE as when you start a sit with Vinnie. It was pure entertainment and barrels of laughter from start to finish. He is such a character, and his stubbornness and expressions all serve to add to his big heart, what a legend! Due to Vinnie’s chill attitude and love of his armchair, we found it very easy to continue working for a little longer if necessary and not feel guilty. If we could give double the stars for expectations of Vinnie, we would. Hell, it must also be said that Steve's communication deserves plenty of stars too! Any concerns we had - poor Bebezão (Vinnie's new nickname) has psoriasis - was answered in record time. Steve was also generous as a host and offered us extra nights’ stay.

The house is in a good location just 12 minutes walk from Southside shopping mall, with the bus stop right outside the door, a 'dirty chicken' shop (if you know, you know 😉) and a Brazilian food store 3 minutes away. We were comfortable throughout our stay and the home gym, I’ve been told by Cristiano, is the best setup he's seen. The park is only 3-minutes away, though if Vinnie was being lazy, it did take us longer to get there. Unsurprisingly, he walks faster when he 'realises' we are heading to Black Sheep coffee for a puppucino! We definitely had lots of fun, and hopefully, will be able to return in the future.

Lyn
I absolutely loved spending time with Lyn, David and sweet Sophie and little Ozzy. Lyn was so wonderfully kind and helpful in every way possible, the communication was fantastic and the dogs so very special. Walking through the Swiss countryside with them will remain as one of my most favourite memories of my journey. Anybody who gets to housesit for Lyn and David and care for their babes is very lucky indeed.

Doesn't get much easier than this... 5 GIANT THUMBS UP! Walter and Kitty may be some of the most feline fun we have had. Absolutely LOVE them! Very different personalities, but what a perfect combination. They had us laughing the entire time. And thanks to Walter... we even won a free year membership on Trusted House Sitters for provided the best photo of the month (INSTAGRAM). And penthouse 40th floor views, enough said.

But this review goes beyond 5 thumbs up for another reason. As full time pet/home sitters for 5 years now, we have had sit cancellations and as any sitter out there knows, this can put you in a real predicament (and a costly one). Although not ideal, cancellations are part of life and need to be expected on occasion. This was such an occasion where Pam had an unforeseen cancellation of her travel plans. Her first concern... making sure we were taken care of. Meaning she was going to make alternate plans simply based around accommodating us. That is ABOVE AND BEYOND what we would ever expect, but to say we were grateful... understatement of the year. We were certain we could find a replacement sit in time for her dates, but she insisted we stay and enjoy Walter, Kitty and her home (as I think she knew how excited we were to have this sit). So if there is such thing as pet Momma host of the year... we nominate Pam.

Thanks for everything Pam! Considering Walter and Kitty are still tykes, we pretty sure you will be seeing more of us in the years to come.

From the beginning of our zoom meeting
Nancy and Dan were wonderful people and hosts.
When you know, you know!!
Contact and update information was at the push of a button.
We were lucky to meet the family a day before their trip.
The location was fantastic - walking distance to Little Italy, bars cafes and restaurants in Bankers Hill too… Along with a short walk to Balboa Park to explore with Maui and Chewi. The home was clean and tidy with lots of personal and much welcome touches.

We felt very at home and are sad to leave Maui the most incredible and sweet natured pup who has made us laugh every day, such a wonderful darling.
Now Chewi….. life with never be the same with out this wonderful laid back gentle giant. He stops traffic and is approached by at least 1 person per minute. Be very prepared to feel like royalty in his presence..

Pumpkin was a really cute dog and low maintenance. We enjoyed looking after her. It was also a good location in Walkley.
