Catherine was a blessing. She fell in love with Loki and Loki fell in love with her. She aided me long distance, on more than one occasion. She is a pro at her job. She left the house the way she found it, tidy and clean. To know Catherine is to know a truly good and special person. Hope to have her return soon.
I absolutely LOVED looking after Hugo and meeting Pieta and Norman. They made me feel welcome from the start, gave me detailed instructions and were so hospitable. Looking after Hugo was the highlight! He is such an affectionate, attentive and beautifully-natured dog. I would pet sit Hugo anytime. Thank you Pieta and Norman for everything!
Danielle, Serafina and Newton were a dream to sit for. We started the sit by heading over for dinner to meet Danielle, S&N, and get to know their needs. Danielle was a fab host from beginning to end. We headed over to meet ahead of the sit to chat over any questions we had. We were also able to get to know Newton and Serafina’s favourite To Dos, such as hopping on the counter to let you know they’re ready for a fresh drink from the tap (an always adorable request to follow). The pair warmed to us through the week, gradually coming to spend more time sleeping by/on us. We got to know their unique personalities: the playful and meowy Newton, and the matriarch that is Serafina, who by the wise look on her face is only a pair of thumbs away from penning her novel. Danielle was a fab communicator and was there if anything came up - and to receive updates. The house is lovely, with a beautiful big kitchen (perfect for cooking in), a super comfy bed, and a spacious sunny office to WFH in. All in all, the stay was fab - we’d love to sit for Danielle, Newton and Serafina again.
We love the days we spent at Diana's, Hettie and Millie are lovely horses, very easy to care for. Frieda is a very kind and beloved cat. The house is very comfortable and cozy. Thanks Diana!
My first sit was fantastic! Carrie was so easy to communicate with before and during the sit. Willow is the sweetest little pup, cuddly & loving. She loves to walk in the neighborhood, play fetch with her toys and go in the car on adventures. The home is lovely and very comfortable with a wonderful location! I would love to hang with Willow anytime. Thanks again, Carrie!
There are no words that can accurately describe how perfect this sit was, but I’ll try! From the very beginning, I knew this was going to be a fantastic experience. Laurie is a pro with having sitters in her home and taking care of Piper. I arrived a day early so that I could meet Laurie and Piper and get all the information I needed. She is very organized and detailed. Everything you need to know is written down. Her home is special- warm and comfortable. And exceptionally clean! It’s located in a great neighborhood in Seattle. Great views of Lake Washington (just a few blocks walk) and Mt Rainier. There is a bus stop just feet from her house. I felt safe as a solo female the entire time, even at night. And Piper! He’s such a delight! We bonded immediately, and he was super easy to care for. Just take him on walks, feed him (plus a few treats), and throw his ball will keep him the happiest guy in the world. He can be stubborn on his walks because he doesn’t want to go home, but treats usually fix that. Or another walk around the block. Hahaha! He is very well trained, obedient, and knows many commands. I highly recommend this sit! Just make sure you bring walking shoes, because Piper loves to explore and the neighborhood is hilly. I hope to return soon to see Laurie and Piper!
Let me just start by saying how much we loved cuddeling, walking, going for runs, playing with Kiki, Paquita and Pearl. They were an absolute delight to be around and to take care of. Since they are all so different and have all different needs it took us a little bit to get into a smooth rhythm. But take the time to figure them out because it's worth it and they deserve it. Kiki for example is way more active and enjoys playing pretty much all day. Which was great for Vincent and myself as we are very active. Kiki also loved sleeping in our beds at night. She would often swap during the night, so we could both enjoy her company. Paquita is the old lady of the house, who thinks she is much bigger than she actually is, hence barking at other dogs 20times her size. It was hilarious. She has so much willpower and force in her, it's incredible. She also loves to be pet a lot. Or enjoys watching TV with you. Pearl loves the outdoors and was hardly ever home. In the beginning she hid a lot but as soon as she got to know us, she was very friendly. It was okay to pick her up and to pet her for long periods of time. When she had enough, she would leave: cat-style... :) Ed and Mary themselves were very lovely and super generous. We were welcomed and treated so well. Our creative and musical urges were very satisfied during this housesit as well. And although we know centro, it was still different living here. It gave us yet another perspective of SMA we had not seen like this before. Just beautiful. We highly recommend this housesit and Ed and Mary. And we hope to return if they want to have us again. Thank you!!!
