Looking after Daisy was amazing. She’s such a little sweetheart :) I met Stephen prior to the sit since I was already in Dublin. Daisy gave me a warm welcome and when I came back a few days later for the sit we had a really lovely time. Beach walks and cuddle and play time. She’s very easy to look after and will reward you with love and affection. Malahide is beautiful and felt like a holiday. The beach is really close and it was the perfect sunny weather during my stay. There are many shops and cafés and I can 100% recommend this sit. Thanks for having me Stephen and Daisy :)
We had a three week house sit for Aurora and Leslie who are a lovely couple, and their absolutely beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog Cleo. When we arrived they welcomed us at the airport and took us to their lovely home in the St James suburb of Charleston, where we had fabulous meals prepared by Aurora. Our accommodation in the ensuite guest bedroom was well prepared with necessary linens etc and suited us just fine during our assignment. Cleo is well known and loved by the folks and the dogs in the neighbourhood so our daily walks were a social pleasure. We were able to get into Charleston several times to visit many local attractions and restaurants there. We took Cleo to the nearby James Island County Park most days for a romp and a swim in the off line dog area which she loved. Cleo is a well mannered 2 year old dog who is very fond of everyone and everything. It was a great pleasure to be able to help Aurora and Leslie out during most of May, we feel it was a holiday for us!
I enjoyed the sit at a very comfortable place and with one of the cutest dogs I ever met. Bode has a good behavior and loves to cuddle. He impressed me by understanding a lot when talking to him. The flat is very clean and I never missed anything and although it is in Frankfurt I enjoyed a quiet place. You can easily rent a scooter and drive directly into the centre of this big city. I found a parking spot right in front of the house. Michael was always available for any questions and I felt very welcomed. I can recommend 100 % without any hesitation. We absolutely loved sitting for Jane, the house,, location and gardens were beautiful and we fell deeply for the dogs Tiger and Monty they were so affectionate, well behaved snd funny. The chickens were very easy too and Jane made us feel very comfortable with great instructions. Would love to come again.
Its was a good sit . Only thing is the cat was a bit unpredictable. 5 mins after i arrived i was attacked out of no where and it in was pretty painful and bleeding. The host seems uncaring just srugged it off and was to busy to deal with things. I recommend the host trims the cats nails and buy boxes of bandages for future petsitters . Over all its was fine .
This was such a comfortable, easy and pleasant sit—loved the location, really nice home, easy going hosts, and sweet, lovable pets. Winky communicates clearly how she’s feeling—cautious at first, but after warming up over the first day, she stayed close and let me know what she wanted and needed. Benny and Piper were relaxed and trouble-free, just nice to be around and have for company. Giving Benny his twice a day medication went smoothly and spending time with this sweet, undemanding trio was a pleasure. I would be more than happy to return.
