We had an amazing time dog sitting for Twizzy in Concord, NC! Twizzy is a two-year-old bundle of energy and sweetness. She’s such a fantastic companion, loves playing frisbee, and just running around. Plus, she listens so well and respects commands, which made everything so much easier. Michelle is incredibly friendly and thoughtful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Her house was spotless and cozy, with every detail carefully considered to ensure a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to all the great things Concord has to offer, yet still peaceful and relaxing. Overall, it was an awesome experience. We had a wonderful time looking after Hobson and Woody. These boys are so loving and have such hilarious characters! We spent our evenings snuggled up on the sofa because they love cuddles more than any dog I’ve ever known. Janes daughter and son-in law who live opposite made us feel very welcome too. We took care of their dog Whistler in the daytime he was super well behaved and got on so well with my Bonnie. Bertie, Tiff and Dorian are all lovely cats who couldn’t be friendly or easier to look after. The house, gardens and surrounding area is just perfect. Thank you again for everything. I would recommend this house-sit to anyone x
We thoroughly enjoyed our time pet sitting for Margo! Margo was such a kind and generous host. She picked us up, entertained us with her many stories, housed us for an extra night and sweetly left us some little treats to enjoy! Along with feeling so welcomed by Margo, GB was an absolute delight to look after. He is a very friendly and talkative little cat that was always more then happy to lie down in the sun with you or settle down on the couch to watch some TV. The location was fabulous and close to many supermarkets, public transport and big parks. The nearby Peak District is 100% worth a visit! We would not hesitate to pet sit for Margo again! Thanks for a great stay! 🥰
I had a wonderful time with lovely Dota! They are playful, and cuddly, and adorable. I would go back any time. Lily is super friendly, and welcoming, and their house is absolutely gorgeous in a really lovely area.
This was a wonderful short-term sit that came up unexpectedly, and I'm glad it worked out! It was a great mix of two dogs and a cat, who were each delightful and sweet in their own individual ways. Channing and Adam were very welcoming and gracious, the house was well organized in being able to care for the pets, the directions were clear, and I enjoyed the neighborhood! I would be happy for a return visit if the dates and my logistics matched!
Our sit with Lyn, looking after the beautiful Suky and the sheep was such fun, and the trust and kindness that Lyn showed us was heartwarming. The house is a dream, and in a stunning location, with woods, walks and the seaside within easy reach. That said, we mostly enjoyed chilling at the house. There is a lovely terrace, surrounded by roses, and we spent much of our time there - with Suky moving from lap to lap and the sheep yelling hopefully for food in the field at the top!! There was a fair amount of watering to do as it was really hot, but we enjoyed pottering about with the hoses - and the birds kept us busy filling their feeders - there are so many wonderful birds in the vicinity!! Thank you, Lyn for making us so welcome. :)
