Kelly has a heart of gold. Very honest and communicative. I was lucky enough to have met her before my travels and felt even more reassured my animals would be well taken care of. House was cleaner than I left it and animals were happy. Thank you, Kelly!

Laura
Stanley and Moe were lovely cats - two elderly (large!) ginger cats. Laura gave us all the information we needed and we felt very welcome in her home. Stanley and Moe were easy to look after and both liked to spend time close to us (Moe less so as he was a little more shy). Laura's home is in a great location close to a brewery tap room and a lovely woodland walk down the Crimple Viaduct. Harrogate Town centre is easily walkable or there is a railway station close by. We'd love to sit for Laura again if the opportunity and dates match up!

What a great housesit we had in Normandy!
First Susan showed us around the house and stable, introduced us to the animals, and then we had a lovely meal together. The instructions about how to take care of the horse (Tosca), donkey (Dickie) and cat were all very clear which made our “job” go very smoothly. Most important of course giving them lots of attention and love and care. It was so nice to really getting to know their individual characters through the days. But each one of them very easy to handle We really fell in love with all three of them.
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of typical Normandy country life. Beautiful hilly pastures, typical small french villages, the sounds of the owls at night, the picking of chestnuts. The garden where we even did some small chores. The house is very comfortable and Susan was very open about us using everything in the well equipped kitchen. We spent our evenings in front of the cosy fireplace because evenings were already dark and chilly.
Susan and her husband Gary are really nice people and great hosts. We did have some questions during the week but she always responded quickly.
If you love the outdoors, peace and quiet and of course animals we can highly recommend this housesit.

sue
A very enjoyable sit, Sue was very welcoming and left all the necessary information and more at the house for me. May Cottage is in a beautiful location and ideal for lovely walks in beautiful countryside. The cottage overlooks fields of sheep and felt very tranquil. Jack was an absolute pleasure to look after, he is very affectionate and cuddly and would often sit on my lap purry away, such a delightful boy.
I would love to sit for Sue and Jack again.

Ali and Jeremy were welcoming and their home is well located, comfortable and bright. The sister-kitties were sweet and easy to care for. It took Sabina a little longer to warm up to me than Fiera but they were both affectionate and easy to care for. I’d be happy to return for future sits!

Maria
Firstly, Maria and Pablo are some of a kindest and most genuine people I've met through TrustedHousesitters. You are truly lucky if you get the chance to meet them and sit for them in their lovely, comfy home with Tito.
Tito is very spirited, active and loving. Because of his background, it is essential that you pay special attention to him when he is outside checking for signs of stress, watching what he may (try to) eat and keeping him safe in general. He's very curious and makes friends with who he wants to but a treat or two usually does the trick to get him to relax if he may misbehave.
Aside from Tito, Maria and Pablo's home is clean, well situated and comfortable. I was able to stay in constant contact with them throughout the trip. They gave great recommendations and helped in anyway they could from abroad.

We had a great time in Switzerland looking after Lexi. The location is great for going to lots of different interesting sites near Zurich and further a field. Lexi is a big friendly dog and just needs a little bit of care while out on walks. Otherwise she is great to have around and fun to play with. Charlotte was super helpful and communicative throughout and helped us when we had a bit of an emergency aswell! Thank you!
