Claire was a terrific pet and house sitter while we were away for almost 3 weeks. She kept in touch with us, sent pictures of the fur babies, and didn't hesitate to ask questions if needed. We so appreciated her being patient with one of our dogs that took a while to warm up. She also did a great job of managing getting the cats inside at night, watering plants as requested, and a few other household tasks. When we got home, we could tell the house had been well taken care of and that the pets were happy! I would definitely hire Claire again and recommend her to others. Thank you Claire!
Robin arrived for dinner on 8-21 to get acquainted with us, Susie, and our routine so that we were able to hit the road early 8-22. Susie immediately loved her, as did we! She took absolutely wonderful care of Susie and our house. During her sit, which was in 2 parts, 8-22/26 and 8-27/31 and lasted until we returned on 9-1, Robin endured the stress of an approaching hurricane and was actually in the eye of the hurricane! How many sitters would batten the hatches and hunker down with someone's dog through that?! Robin kept calm and she kept Susie calm through the wind and rain and endured 2 days without power in the hot South! She's a keeper! Love this woman! Susie and our home were in fantastic shape when we returned! We'd love to have Robin come back again! Hopefully the next time will be all sunny skies! You can't go wrong having Robin sit for you! She is a fantastic person!
A fantastic week, with great location, cats & duties were well described, Juliette is a great host. I'd be happy to sit again and would highly recommend for anyone else. Gaia and Valpo are lovely cats to sit for, each with their own unique personality. They are nice to each other and respect each other's space, so you won't have to break up any fights. Both love their strokes and will happily lay on bed with you for additional attention. Valpo is a playful (and naughty) kitten, who would often reach up and jump onto shoulder. Do watch out as he'll try and sprint for the door if given a chance! The house is in a fantastic location, close to the train station (on the H line to Gare du Nord), supermarket, and a short walk to the lake. The conservatory allows relaxed breakfast time looking out over the garden Communication was excellent, before and during the sit. Juliette is a warm, engaging person who has experience of being a host, and so provided me (my 2nd sit) with exactly what I (and she) needed to make my stay (and her trip) the best it could be.
This was my first housesit and Melissa set the bar high. We met in advance so she could show me where to find everything I’d need and to introduce me to the kitties. For the sit itself, the home is beautiful and comfortable. The view is a real treat. The cats and I really enjoyed sitting in the screened porch watching the birds, butterflies, grasshoppers, and dragonflies go about their day in the lush landscaping. It also felt very private. It was quiet in the mornings then filled with children’s laughter in the afternoon as they play in the neighborhood. A really peaceful place. The guest set up is very comfortable with everything you could need. Mocha is a little slower to warm up than Leo. Give her space and she’ll soon come to you and follow you like a puppy. She loves a good neck rub but keep your fingers away from her mouth - they’re just too tempting to nibble on and she can’t stop herself even if she’s loving the petting. Leo loves to play hunter and seems to really respond to fast movement in his toys. Great housesit experience. Absolutely would recommend. Thank you Melissa for trusting me as a newbie sitter.

It's been almost two years since I regularly entrusted my cat Daisy to Benoît. I can always leave with peace of mind when I know that it's Benoît who takes care of her. He is someone who is trustworthy and very conscientious, and Daisy is at ease with him (even though she is usually rather shy). Everything is top notch regarding the "practical" side (litter, food, etc.) and Benoît is also concerned about the animal's well-being and is totally involved during his visits (games, etc.). I also love the little photos and videos sent every day, it's really reassuring to know that everything is going well at home. In summary, I recommend 100%!

Looking after my two cats went very well. Benoît took great care especially of my diabetic cat Tito who needs an insulin shot.
