Rose and Michael have pet/house sit for us on three occasions and each time we have been grateful for the love and care they show our pets and our home and property. In addition to being delightful, polite, interesting, and caring people, they are dependable and communicate with us on a regular basis. I am pleased to recommend them to anyone for short or long term stays. They consistently provided loving care for our cat and dog. On the two occasions when they stayed for over two months, they took care of our golf cart that we use for work around the property and our vehicles. They made certain that our pets received their monthly flea and heartworm medications, monitored the housecleaning team that comes in once a month, stayed in contact with our neighbors, and collected mail and packages. Dale and I send our best wishes to Rose and Michael and prayers for their safe travels.
When originally committing to the pet sit, both Julia and Pete planned to spend the time in Toronto. A few days before the sit was to start, Julia informed us she would be coming alone as they had a family emergency. We were grateful that despite their own personally family circumstances, they did not cancel last minute. Throughout the trip, Julia sent us a daily update as we had requested. She let us know the cats were fed, litter box cleaned and provided a pic of them sleeping or eating. Just before we left, I noticed signs that one of the kitties might be getting an eye infection. As suspected, this was the case. Julia gave kitty eye drops twice a day and the infection had resolved by the time we got back home. On our return, we had a flight delay. Julia (& Pete, who joined her part way through the sit) offered to stay longer if needed. We appreciated the offer, though it was not needed. When we returned the condo was as we left it, with very little evidence that they had been there. It was nice to return home to a clean condo and happy kitties.
Excellent sit! Loved hanging out with Bailey and Benji, and all instructions and information was clear and easy to follow. Pups were very sweet and easy to care for. Great communication with Julie before and during the sit, and I really appreciated the extra night at their house when my housing fell through last-minute for the night before the sit! Would highly recommend sitting here, and I would do it again if I end up in that area.
