We loved petsitting for Lucy and Tony. We met them prior to the sit starting and they made us feel welcome from the outset. They gave us a thorough tour of their home and provided us with a detailed guide which we really appreciated. They organised a delicious lunch for us which was really thoughtful and kind. They have a beautiful home and in the most immaculate condition. The kitchen is well equipped and the cooking facilities are perfect for cooking anything from simple dishes to full on roast dinners. They have plenty of fridge space + a pantry which meant we could stock up and minimise trips to the supermarket. In the kitchen is a lovely dining table with glass above which let lots of light in. We often found ourselves chilling there in the morning chatting over a coffee. The garden is extraordinary with lots of different zones and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in it while soaking up the sunshine. The house is beautifully appointed, with different zones for seating, watching tv, reading a book etc. The TV is smart with all the mod cons so we were able to indulge in a few series. The bedroom we stayed in was perfect and had an en-suite. Lucy and Tony were very thoughtful in providing us with tourist guides so we could plan lots of trips. It was very much like staying in a hotel and it was clear that they both put a lot of effort in to try and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Blackheath is perfectly located for everything you could possibly want. The house is located in a quiet area which is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of London. The heath is spectacular and you just cannot beat going for a stroll watching the sunrise/set. There are plenty of fantastic eateries and pubs within walking distance. The transport infrastructure is superb and trains are regular and cheap from Blackheath. We’re not experts of London, but from what we have seen we believe Blackheath is one of the best suburbs to be in. We strongly recommend Greenwich park which is within easy walking distance. The views of the skyscrapers at Canary Wharf are jaw dropping. Add in a picnic, British sunshine and it’s heavenly. The cleaner and gardener were both lovely. Jolanta (the cleaner) was a superstar. We were fortunate to spend quite a bit of time with her and she has such a lovely character and is a kind soul. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her. Piaf the cat was no trouble at all. We found her to be very affectionate and we really enjoyed looking after her. We particularly enjoyed playing “spot the cat” in the garden. Piaf was often found luxuriating in the garden under the bushes. She had no trouble making herself known with her little squeaks when she wanted some cuddles! Which we of course indulged her with! We will miss her a lot. Piaf has a cat flap and is very happy coming and going as she pleases and often put herself to bed indoors in the evening. We’ve been petsitting 6+ years on this website. We feel qualified to say that that this is an incredible sit and THS is made all the more special with people like Lucy and Tony. In summary, we wholeheartedly recommend this sit to any prospective sitter and we are grateful to have been chosen and we will happily return if the opportunity arises.

Travia is a fantastic person! I loved meeting her and seeing how much she loves her little babies. Its been a wonderful time at her place trying to make friends with the bunnies but also making sure I don't stress them by trying to pet them all the time :)...yes it was me going to them (unless I had dried apples) I absolutely recommend her!
While not my first house/pet sit, it was my first for THS. I appreciate the trust from Ryan and his family, particularly since I brought my own dogs. Izzy and Quincy are good, sweet angels! The home is lovely with a beautiful view.
