My friend Grace and I had the good fortune of staying with Roxy for 2 weeks in September. Nicola and Paul were absolutely incredible hosts… very generous and kind. They had a lovely lunch ready for us when we arrived and got us acquainted with their house and Roxy before they left. They were always available with any questions we had while they were away. They helped me (as a foreigner) with travel arrangements, particularly when the trains went on strike. I couldn’t be more appreciative. Their house was spacious and had everything we could need. Their garden is a gorgeous place to spend the afternoon with a book or a glass of wine. Roxy… what can I say. It was not easy to say goodbye to this sweet girl. Stubborn in her own way, but she’s adorable. Loves body rubs - anywhere - bum, head, belly… whatever you can do she’ll take it! She just wants to be where you are. She’s a popular girl on the beach and seems to know the whole neighborhood. She’s a really easy girl to take care of and you’d be lucky to have her in your life, even for a short time. I would highly recommend Paul and Nicola as hosts, Broadstairs as a destination of choice and Roxy as your pet companion ❤️
We absolutely loved taking care of Remy. Remy is a charming and confident guy who’s vocal about what he wants. He’s a sweet, social and affectionate pup who's easy to love. The nearby dog park was amazing. He's great with other dogs. It was so much fun to see him interact with all the different personalities. Every new person or pup is just a friend he hasn’t met yet. He is very energetic and can run with you to the dog park if you’re into jogging. He loves to fiercely move his body for a short period of time, then nap the rest of the day. If you keep up his exercise routine with two walks a day, he’ll be chilled out through most of the day. Last not least, Remy is also an amazing cuddler. He is a perfect little spoon. So precious. Nancy and Rick made us feel so welcomed the minute we got to the house. They were super hospitable. The house was impeccably clean. Remy was freshly bathed and smelled great. Rick helped me set up a work station while Nancy cooked an amazing dinner for us. The house is spacious and comfortable. The location is terrific. It's close to Barton Springs, Zilker Park and downtown. We had a blast enjoying the neighborhood, the dog park, and Barking Springs with Remy. We love Remy so much. Thanks for the amazing memories. We highly recommend the sit. We would definitely housesit and watch Remy again.
This sit was amazing! Tywin is a really adorable cat! He loves to play and cuddle. He is a really easy going cat. He definitely stole my heart! I already miss him! Summer was also an amazing host, really friendly, she left me clear instructions. Apartment was really cozy and really clean. And so well located! I could go everywhere by walk. I would definitely recommend this cat sit! Hope to back someday :)
Enjoyed looking after Fennel and Zinnie for a weekend in Suckley very much and Basil is such a friendly, affectionate and playful cat who kept us entertained just as much as the dogs! Louise’s instructions were incredibly detailed & covered all aspects of looking after the animals and house. We even had a tour by the cleaner when we arrived to help go over things in person, and the next morning with the gardener too. Our hosts were kind enough to leave some of the local dairy’s milk for us which is delicious & can be topped up with a short stroll to the farm, we left with our own bottle!
Matt and Matina are remarkable hosts! Their home is a perfect place to have a vacation or have a staycation! It is a very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated home that felt like a Bed and Breakfast…but you make both! Snoop is the most adorable English Springer Spaniel! He was super fun to play with in the backyard. He is well-behaved and easy to walk. We enjoyed going to Lake Murray and walking the paved path. There were ducks, people fishing, and more. He is the most calm dog I have ever had in a car. He has the sweetest demeanor and is very loyal. Cuddly him is easy to do with those dreamy eyes. I chose to sleep in the guest room in the house and Snoop slept in his bed in the room with me. He didn’t move around, snore, or clean himself the whole time. The additional security with the front camera was nice to have. There are many outdoor seating areas with beautiful flowers to enjoy. The neighborhood was very, very quiet. I didn’t even hear any other dogs. Very easy to clean upon departure with the hardwood floor brush sweeper. We only had the weekend to spend time together. If we stay as a couple, the pool house room is very cute and has plenty of room with the cool Murphy bed. I am looking forward to another sit with Snoop Dog, where we can explore and hike Mission Trails Park. We became great friends!
Katie and her family were lovely. She walked me through everything and went out of her way to make me feel at home. She responded very quickly to a question I had about the chickens and eased my mind. Copper is an absolute love bug and a pleasure to care for. Leela kept to herself most of the time, but allowed some head scratching when she appeared. Highly recommend this peaceful sit😊
