I quite often come home from my holiday with a sense of apprehension about what I’m going to find! Mostly we have had excellent house sitter experiences, but some have been quite poor. I’d like to think that we are veterans of this process now and are better at picking good sitters but I think with Laurie and Michael we hit the jackpot! From our first call to meeting them before we left they made us feel comfortable and relaxed about leaving the house and cats in safe hands. I’m also a bit house-proud and like things clean and neat and on our return the house was just as we had left it, what a blessing.Not to mention a home made veg lasagne in the fridge which was hugely welcomed after such a long day travelling.The cats especially had had a great time and we regularly chatted on what’s app and Laurie sent us pictures of some very contented fluffs curled up on laps. They were also super chilled when we got home and all was forgiven immediately, sure sign they had been well loved! Although they only sat our cats it’s clear that Laurie’s has had experience with lots of types of animals and as well as being very warm and caring is also a good pair of practical hands and could deal with a variety of pets and livestock in a practical and informed way.I think it helps that they also do the house sitter process from the other end and rent and house swap as well, this makes them ideal sitters in my book and would highly recommend them with no hesitation.

I had a very positive experience with Jennifer! She took great care of my dog for several days and I came home to a relaxed and happy dog. Jennifer is very professional, friendly and responsible. Communication with her was excellent before the sit which put me at ease knowing that I could totally depend on her. She was very easy to work with and sent me updates as requested. I never worried while I was out of town because I knew my pup was in great hands. When I came home my place was spotless and my place looked great. I highly recommend her as your sitter!
