Floss and her wonderful family welcomed us with open arms and even invited us to stay the night before they left (which made life a lot easier for us too) It’s a beautiful old home with a log burner that Scout and I shared most nights for cuddles. Scout is the sweetest little kitty and you wouldn’t think she’s 13. She loves all her meals and has the cutest yell cry while you’re preparing her chicken. As soon as Johnathan sat on the couch it wouldn’t matter where she was in the house she’d coming running to sit on his lap for cuddles! The kitchen is so huge it made staying home and cooking meals so wonderful. There’s a bus stop outside, but we walked everywhere as we were lucky enough to have a mostly dry stay - the historic docks are beautiful. There’s also a lovely park right across the road. Thank you for having us
Fred was very easy to chat with from the off. He went through everything I needed to know about the sit, looking after sweet little Mia and his lovely home. Mia, though elderly is very much still on it, she has her own mind and is bright and friendly. She’s a very gentle character, affectionate and still enjoys a little play. Great location in Hove, so close to the beach and Brighton. Everything within easy access. Thank you Fred and Mia.
Mary's home is so comfortable, and the location in Oceanside/Vista is perfect. Her kitties are delightful - very sweet and low maintenance. Mary left detailed notes that answered every question that came up. The neighborhood is peaceful and the neighbors were so welcoming - they introduced themselves and I felt like part of the neighborhood. I would sit for Mary again anytime!
Jaci and Stephen were incredibly kind hosts. We got to meet them before our housesit and they made sure we had everything we needed. Their home is beautiful, inviting, and peaceful. Brown Dog and Scout were timid at first but nothing treats and some TLC couldn’t overcome. Highly recommend to any other house sitter! Thank you for the aloha.
Two of the sweetest dogs ever who love to cuddle in bed and enjoy their beach walks! Lovely house with all the mod cons including a fantastic swimming pool, and Anna is very welcoming and hospitable. Also great location, with plenty of shops and restaurants all close by. Highly recommended sit!
Jeanie is an absolute sweetheart and the location is perfect.
