Pet Sitters in Stagecoach, TX

I wish I could give Alexis a glowing review, but unfortunately I probably wouldn't have her house and petsit for us again. She was so bad at communication that I worried she might not even show up. There were several times I reached out to her on zeewoi and her phone, and I often didn't hear back for days and only then I'd have to ping her again to get her to respond. After I shared all my housesitting info, I asked if she had any questions, she assured me she read everything and didn't have any questions, but then she clearly did not read through well because she missed some important stuff. A major one was that I had asked her to arrive mid morning because we had left out at 5am and my dog would need to go out around that time. I asked her ETA that day, and she told me she wouldn't be able to be there until 5pm and asked if that would be a problem. That struck me as a problematic question. She arrived around 6-7 hours after I asked her to and didn't think that would be an issue. So, I had to scramble to find a friend to go by and let my dog out. She also texted me for the address and how to get into the house. It was all in the info that she assured me she had already read through. Our pets seemed to be fine when we got home so that is the most important, but many requests I made or instructions I left were just not done. Some of it was related to how I give water to my cat and change his litterbox, but some was household related. A bunch of my plants died-- my whole vegetable garden as well as plants in my yard were completely dried up. Alexis happened to still be at the house when I arrived home. She showed me where packages were, but when I asked about where she had put my mail, she said that she had forgotten to check it and it was probably overflowing. Overall, I feel like I upheld my side by providing a clean, comfortable house and clear instructions, but I feel like she did not uphold her side of the agreement by caring for my house well by reading through and following the instructions I left for her.

Colin was fantastic. He took such great care of our dog, Bonnie! She was so happy. He was one of the best zeewoi we have had up-to-date. Responsible. He even fixed a door knob, and a light. He left the apartment cleaner than when he came. I would recommend him highly without reservation anytime to anyone. We hope we have him back. 

Fahad was the best house/dog sitter I could have asked for. This was my first experience with zeewoi (and his first as well), and he set the bar really high! He asked thorough questions in advance of his stay here, and he was really considerate of everything regarding my pet and my home to ensure he has a solid understanding of my expectations in advance. He stayed with my dog and in my home for three weeks, and he provided regular daily updates with photos, which I didn’t ask for since I didn’t want to overburden him, but I was still really grateful to receive nonetheless. This was my first time leaving my dog alone for so long, and I was extremely nervous about it, but Fahad alleviated my anxiety after only a couple of days because he was so reliable and detailed in his daily reports. Not only did he care for my dog better than I could have hoped for, but my plants also looked better than they did before I left! I highly recommend Fahad to anyone looking for a house sitter going forward. Thank you, Fahad!

Alyssa is a gem of a person, house sitter, and a dog caregiver. She stayed in our house for a little over two weeks keeping our guy Gaven company while she worked from our home, taking him on at least one hour walk a day in addition to his regular schedule. She is warm, bright, very organized, neat, and responsible. We enjoyed her company so much when she can to be introduced to the house and to Gaven that we invited her to stay for dinner. Gaven loved Alyssa — which we know because for a few days after she left he hung out in the room she slept in. She loved him — when we returned she regaled us with stories about his cute behaviors and interactions with different dogs on the street. She was excited that he came up with a special signal to let her know he needed/wanted a walk, which is not a behavior he does with us. Gaven can occasionally be reactive to large male dogs. Alyssa was able to manage him beautifully, primarily by being attentive and moving away or across the street. Alyssa and we agreed that the next time we plan to take a vacation we will try to coordinate the dates with having her come back and stay.

Margaret was a wonderful sitter. Remi was calm and comfortable, and our house was neat and tidy when we returned from our trip. We had to leave a bit earlier than originally agreed upon and Margaret was okay with our neighbor introducing her to Remi. We appreciated her sweet videos every morning of Remi living his best life! We’d gladly welcome Margaret back to stay any time.

Ashley was SO great with my pups and home. She was excellent in communication before and during the stay. She genuinely cared about the well being of my dogs - they had multiple walks daily, lots of cuddling/loving and I was sent daily "pupdates" and pics. She had a genuine love for animals. Upon leaving Ashley followed the departure instructions very well. My house was in perfect condition when I got home. I think my dogs still wish she was here. Ashley left a very sweet note, some gorgeous flowers and treats for the pups. Would love to have Ashley sit for us again. Thank you so much!

Jill and Wally were the best! Sammy was SO happy with them. They were amazing communicators, sending us text and photo updates throughout their stay. They also kept our house in pristine condition, cleaning up after themselves and fully washing all the sheets and towels. They even remade our bed for us so we didn't have to do that when we returned home later at night. They are also so sweet and great to talk to - we would have them back to stay with Sammy anytime!

Colleen did a fantastic job caring for our two dogs for a week while we were out of town! She gave us regular updates on how they were doing and she kept our home clean and tidy. We would GLADLY use her help again, and we highly recommend her.

Penny was great. Penny stayed in touch about the dogs. Penny left our house looking better than she found it. We would totally recommend Penny for dog sitting and use her again! 

Hugh was an excellent house and dog sitter! He left my house very clean, and I came back to two happy and healthy dogs. He was very self-sufficient, and I did not have to worry at all while on my trip. I highly recommend Hugh to anyone looking for a pet/house sitter and would definitely have him stay again. Parker was so great with Jackson. He’s an independent and wild boy for the most part. He sure loves his treats and play time. She sent pics and updates. It takes ok him a minute to warm up but they found their groove. I came home to a clean home and happy well cared for kitty. I would highly recommend Parker, we will definitely have her back if the opportunity presents itself.

Our first time on zeewoi! Sandi made the process really easy and put our worry at ease from the beginning with excellent communication and coordination. She sent photos and videos while we were away and let us know our four legged friends were doing just great. Very considerate and caring and so good with our cats. Thank you Sandi!
