Cate
Cate is a wonderful host, she really went out of her way to make me welcome, going beyond what I'd ever expect, and was always on hand if I ever needed her. I felt right at home straight away.

Puff (Puffin) is a really sweet affectionate dog, understanding her routine and her preferences is important but she is no trouble, and once we got into a rhythm around all that we had a great relationship. We had lots of fun and good times.

The property is really lovely and set in amazing countryside, with great access for all Cumrbia has to offer. Nearby walks are great, especially Hampsfell, and that can be helpful, especially when it snows or is generally bad weather.

I would definnitely return and would highly recommend it to others.

Zita
I really enjoyed my stay at Zita’s and Shawn’s place. The location is central and it was easy to come around. The communication with Zita and Shawn was excellent, I felt very comfortable and they left me good instructions. Boris is a very uncomplicated and really sweet cat. He loves being outside and as soon as he was inside, he enjoyed the cuddles.
I already miss him!

Thank you Zita and Shawn for the really great time! 😊

James
What a fantastic housesit! Deegan is a sweet old man of a dog. He loves lazy days and snuggles on the couch. We did get him out for a few walks where he always found something interesting to go check out. He was easy and a joy to care for. James was a great host. Organized and excellent communication. His house is amazing. Breathtaking views yet close to town. I would happily house sit with Deegan again.

Cherry
Cherry and Henry are lovely people! Really friendly and genuine, and their home reflects it - it's a really interesting house full of things to look at and with a beautiful garden.

Busses to Oxford are easy and regular and only a short walk to the bus stop.

Luna is a great little cat - instantly happy with new company, she's friendly and yet undemanding - a first in my experience! I'm not cruel enough steal her, but I would if I could! She does like lap time but also her own space.
I would absolutely house-sit for Cherry again.

Alexandra
What an absolute joy this long weekend was. Maud may sound like an old lady but she is just 2 and has the engine to match! If I dared to sit down and stop playing ball for a minute she runs of and literally tosses the ball in the neighbours garden so that they have to throw it back for her to chase! Beautiful surroundings and wonderful dog parents too!
