We couldn't ask for better host. Sherrin and Tony have made us feel like family. From the word go. On the phone, then when we arrived. They are so hospitable, kind and great people to be around. Having us stay a few days before they headed off , was a great way to the start this wonderful house sit. To get to know them, showing us the routine of the animals, the house. They made the effort to introduce us to some of the locals, the vet (if needed) , doctors, chemist and best places to eat. This all made it easier on us. Especially as we couldn't speak the language. The house was wonderful, everything you ever needed and wanted. (Loved the heating in the floor, it made the house so cozy for those cooler days). The views and gardens were amazing . Something you would see in a magazine. We really enjoyed the real village feel. Everybody we meet were so friendly and helpful. All the dogs were a joy. Even Rufus, being new to the family and being so young. He got better as time went on. By the end of the sit we could see a real improvement. Guapo and Spartacus both had a lovely personality . All enjoyed their walks.. You could tell by their excitement what time of day it was. Ducks , chooks and fish were easy. Plus there was the joy to watch two red robins fly in just outside the kitchen window for their feed near the garden pot. We really missed them all when we left. So much so, that we have decided we will go back to see them all in the middle of the year for another house sit ( and to catch up with who we call great friends now) We would highly recommend this house sit, if you could get in before us again. Thank you Tony and Sherrin for picking us for this sit. We left with great memories and a great experience.
Dustin and Lida are wonderful people and well organized, communicative and caring dog owners. They live in a beautiful quiet street in Venice nearby great restaurants and the beach. Judd is an absolute dream of a dog… he’s so relaxed, sweet and loving! Besides that he listens well to commands and he knows his routine very well. In the mornings when we were working from home Judd would just be chilling at our side or sunbathing on the terrace. In the evenings he’s so cuddly and just wants to be close to you… we completely fell in love with his character! Judd we miss you already bud!! ❤️
We had a wonderful time at Christina’s beautiful home. We really enjoyed looking after Chunky and Wilbur who were very sweet. We were grateful for the detailed notes and map provided and the gorgeous woodland walks and nearby dog-friendly pubs and Pies Farm Milke Bar that she and Harry recommended. Thank you very much for trusting us with your lovely home and special pets!
I had a positive and relaxing housesit at Jan’s. The dogs have a routine and they do well keeping their feeding routine. They all love to be on the presence of their humans and Moose will follow you around hahaha! The cats do their own thing and stay out of the dogs’ way. The pool is a nice touch and Jan and Jim are very accomodating. I would watch the house and pets again.
My stay with Bastille and Lima was great! They are both adorable, cuddly, and easy to look after. The house is located right between two beautiful parks so Bastille and I had some fun walks. There is also a bus to and from downtown SF that stops right around the corner. Alexandra and her partner are extremely easy to communicate with. They made me feel very welcome. Thanks again for having me! Highly recommend and would definitely sit here again.
