Marilyn and her cat Loki were such a joy to work with. She offered to pick me up from my bus in Tampa which was so appreciated. We enjoyed some fun, social hours before and after the sit and she made me feel included in her family, conversation and activities. Her generosity with sharing everything in her home and kitchen with me made the sit extra hospitable. Beautiful Loki is a total loveshiner and brought infinite, unconditional love to my days. The sylvan, forested Suncoast trail nearby and kind, sweet people of Spring Hill/Brooksville community refreshed my spirit immensely. This sit: a treasure that overflowed with gifts and grace.
This sit was just a short overnight visit, but nonetheless enjoyable. Beau is a sweet and friendly dog, who just wants to play all the time. He is very strong! So something to bare in mind. But not a problem. He loves to interact with other dogs on his walks and is generally just inquisitive. I couldn't have asked for a more lovely place to stay, clean, welcoming and just a stones throw from Transport links into Edinburgh. A great sit. Thankyou
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was definitely one of our favorite sits. The space is beautiful inside and out and really encourages relaxation; it’s hidden amongst the trees, yet close to the beach and town. Groot and Athena are extremely affectionate, playful and gentle companions, we fell in love very quickly. James and Meredith make wonderfully kind and attentive hosts. They truly wanted us to have a good time and enjoy our vacation. We Highly recommend. Thanks so much you two! 🐾
I recently had the opportunity to cat-sit for Monika and Dave, looking after their cat, Mowgli. From the start, it was evident that Mowgli is an independent spirit – easy to care for! Monika and Dave's home is lovely. It was warm and inviting and situated in a great location, which added to the experience. Communicating with Monika and Dave was easy, and they left detailed home and care instructions. Overall, it was a delightful cat-sitting experience for them, and I would gladly do it again. I recommend them to any cat sitter out there!
Our three-month sit for Don and Penny was nothing short of fantastic. Their home is beautiful with stunning water views and glorious sunrises. If you love to cook or bake, the kitchen has everything you could possibly want. Piper and Churro are both really terrific dogs and we had such fun with them. Churro is energetic when out on his walks (in a good way). He loves to bound through the woods after a stick but responds instantly to a recall command. Piper is a sniffer and mostly takes her place as a follower (except in the snow, which ramped up her energy twofold) and happily wanders along the trails, periodically running to catch up with her pack. Both are comfortable with on-lead walks as well. At home, they have good manners, are well behaved (even when left alone) and love cuddles and attention. Don and Penny were incredibly generous with us, offering us the opportunity to use the many amenities of their home. We even put up their tree and some decorations for Christmas. They introduced us to their kind neighbours, which made for some really great social evenings, joint dog walks, and sharing of chores when the snow hit. Communication was great before and during our sit. Though we haven't spent much time in person with Don and Penny, we feel that we have new friends on the island now. We would return to this sit in a heartbeat if our travel schedules align.
I loved getting to spend time with Pickle and Pluto! They snuggled up with me wherever I happened to be in the house, and they loved going on walks. They are strong little guys who definitely know where they want to go and what they want to see when out walking so be sure to hold on tight! Sven was so friendly and great at communicating both before and during the sit as well!
