Huw and Hettie are very soft and just the cutest Kitties. They are outdoor/indoor Kitties and are very easy to care for. They both will enjoy spending time with you but, Huw will love to sit on your lap. The house is new modern and very clean and tidy. It’s a great place to spend time and work from home if you need to do that. The Wi-Fi signal is good. The house is walking distance from two major super markets and other other retail outlet is within easy reach. The house is close to buses to take you into the city centre. Cardiff and the surrounding area is a great place to explore. Del and Martyn were great hosts and arranging the sit was very easy. This sit is highly recommend.
I had a wonderful time house sitting for Anne and Nat. Anne left clear directions which made the move in / move out and up keep processes seemless. Anne's home and kitchen were beautiful, in a location near the beach, and national parks. It was a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beach part of San Francisco. I pet sat Harry as well. Harry is a terrier. He can get a bit anxious at times going indoors (to places other than home) and around other dogs so it's best to keep him on leash. He responds well to positive encouragement and pets and was a really sweet, well-behaved dog. I really enjoyed my sit and would love to watch Harry and the house for Anne again.
It was great coming back for the second time to housesit for Joanna and Hamish. We knew the dogs and they remembered us too. It was lovely to meet the neighbours again and to do the walks in a warmer climate too. It is a shame we had to leave a day earlier as it would have been nice to catch up with Joanna and Hamish again.
What an absolutely lovely time we had with Kobe and Oscar. Kimling and Jakob gave us a real insight into their personalities during the time we spent with them before they headed off on holiday. We were to expect that Oscar would be laid back and that Kobe, less used to anyone other than his ‘parents’, may be a harder nut to crack. It didn’t take long though, before Kobe caught on that this might actually be fun and threw himself into the spirit of embracing these new and friendly people. Oscar was like an old soul, serious and intense, fiercely intelligent and routine focused in every area of the day. If you forgot what was meant to happen, you could be assured Oscar would remind you, which was both useful and on occasion, hilarious. He was an absolute delight. Kobe got over his shyness by the end of day one and was then the first one to lick my nose in the morning, completely up for every walk and adventure we took them on, playing in the river, leading the way, then crashing out on my lap every evening without fail. The two of them with their doggie puzzles each night was just precious. All in all, an awesome experience. Kimling and Jakob are lovely people, have a beautiful home that they are very keen for you to share and experience, and their dogs are, well, just fantastic. Jump at the opportunity if you are lucky enough to be invited. You won’t regret it. This is a wonderful sit!!
What a great sit! Harry was adorable and I spent a lot of time with him just chilling and enjoying North Berwick. I was made very welcome in their beautiful home beside the sea. Harry is a real character and an excellent, fluffy companion. I would love to come back
Stella, the Pug Princess' sweet face made me smile often. Jack was a gentleman waiting patiently to be fed last. He loved to walk around the neighborhood gathering scents. Wim and Thor were very loving and quite entertaining. All four loved to relax around the house. I found it endearing how Jack would snuggle up with Wim. I met Jamie and Mary before the sit. They clearly love their well-cared for pets. Jamie and Mary's home was clean, organized and comfortable. The courtyard was a great place to relax with all of the gang. I appreciated the great mattress.
