I really enjoyed housesitting for Barbara. She's very welcoming and fun to talk with. Her house is lovely and is located in a great neighborhood. And Harley the cat is just an amazing fellow. He's playful, loves company and is just an all-around awesome kitty.
Mary Beth's apartment was clean when I arrived. It is located in San Francisco near the N train (Muni) and many buses. There are coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. It took me 25 minutes by the N train to get to Ocean Beach and 10 minutes to the Golden Gate National Park. It is a good neighborhood. Lola, her dog was friendly. I took her on the train to go sightseeing with me. My housesit was for 2 weeks and Mary Beth offered to let me drop Lola off at doggy daycare for a day or two, in which she would pay. Anyway, I would petsit for Mary Beth again.
My husband and I spent 3 weeks with Teddy and Felix and had a blast. Teddy is adorable and always ready for his walks and for cuddles. If you are a cat lover, Felix will warm up to you and ask for lots of kisses and to have his food bowl refilled :) The location is great, near the ocean and surronded by gorgeous parks all along the river side. Christine was amazing and so were her girls (the flat was just a plus!). Happy and Billie are such sweethearts and so easy to care for. Each time I went out to explore the city, I was itching to come back to them to spend as much time as I could with them, they're that charismatic!! Christine was super responsive prior to the sit and during as well - I can't wait to come back again!
We really enjoyed staying in Dave and Courtneyrose’s lovely home and especially caring for Alfie, Miles and Grumpy (who is not grumpy at all)! Dave and Courtneyrose were friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The house was clean and organized, with a great backyard and tons of walking paths all around the area. They were also very communicative and gave lots of helpful information so we knew how to best care for Alfie, Miles and Grumpy. As for the three little ones, we absolutely fell for them. Each one was different and had their own personalities, but were completely adorable and cuddly in their own ways. Alfie literally danced and pranced for joy whenever it was time for a walk. Grumpy is the youngest with a ton of puppy energy, and would suddenly poop out and fall asleep in the cutest poses. Miles helped take care of everyone, including making sure we had tons of cuddles with him. We had a great time. Thank you Dave and Courtneyrose!
