Karen and Greg were so kind generous and hospitable The home was very clean comfortable and peaceful. Everything you need was supplied Karen left detailed instructions for me which I very much appreciated and I referred back to for reminders. Baby warmed up to me and spent lots of time with me. Buddy preferred his own space. Seldom saw him. They were very easy to care for. Enjoyed watching dolphins swim by and the beautiful views and breezes. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this sit to everyone.
Arty is beyond a five star host. We enjoyed every moment with her and she is Absolutely an amazing cook. Gaia is the sweetest most pleasant Doberman. We surely do miss her. Thank you so much for everything.
Charlie and Sofia were very sweet and easy going! I didn’t have any problems while looking after them. Adens place is nice and cozy prime location in Chicago. Aden made sure we had everything we needed. :)
Believe the hype! We loved every minute of our time on Seminole Wind Ranch with Kendall and Larry’s animals. It’s so good that we only left for groceries, so I couldn’t tell you about anything else in the area. Larry and Kendall were so welcoming. On arrival we had an orientation of the ranch, then a lovely dinner and visit together. Their home has stunning views. From as so as you wake in the cozy guest room (to a picture window of the mountain as the sun comes up) to evening from the living area (as you watch the sky colors change with sunset). Kendall and Larry are super organized and make it easy to care for their crew. Loki and Tonka are precious (and huge) fur babes that will melt your heart. I highly suggest a floor cuddle with Loki, he’s like a real live teddy bear. We miss them already! The horses, Montana, Grayson, Whiskey, Holly, River, and Trigger were all characters, yet easy to handle. Speaking of easy... the barn cats and chickens are only attended to once a day and are easy to care for. Prepare to have your heart stolen, Midnight is the friendliest barn kitten ever. The chickies are nice enough to eat up any scrap veggies you have and give you eggs daily! Yum. I’m so appreciative of the time we had at Seminole Wind Ranch. We would love to return and highly recommend this sit. If you love the outdoors, and all kinds of creatures, this sit is for you!
It was a pleasure to sit for Fígaro. He was an easy and fun cat to care for. There was clear communication of the expectations for this sit. Ayala & her husband made my daughter and I feel welcome in their home. The home was beautiful and so was the community. A lot of conveniences nearby. We would definitely sit for Fígaro again. He will be missed.
Andrew has an amazing apartment with spectacular views over Lake Lugano. I loved spending time on the expansive balcony cuddling with, or brushing, The Beast (TB) who is glorious! TB and I enjoyed lots of cuddles and he even slept on the bed with me. I appreciated Andrew's flexibility on start and end dates of my stay. The apartment is about 15 mins bus ride from the center of Lugano, very near a popular (and easy) walk - Sentiero dell'Olivo. For more strenuous hikes, Monte Bre and Monte San Salvatore, among others, are close. Andrew was splitting his time between Lugano and Zurich when I stayed, and the place was a little chaotic as a result. Some furniture (including the sofa) was disassembled and wrapped in plastic while I stayed. Luckily I'm thin and could easily fit in the Eames chair with TB to watch TV at night! I took over from a previous sitter who was not very clean, so I needed to do some work before I was comfortable - cleaning bathroom, running the dishwasher, etc. Andrew was at the apartment when I arrived, but was busy trying to fix a shower door and reassemble the bed for me to use. The shower door did not get fixed during my short stay. I had used the shower the day after my arrival - improvising a shower curtain by using sheets of bubble wrap - not realizing that this would leave the shower too wet to repair for the rest of my stay. The apartment has no bathtub, and Andrew acknowledged that having no shower might be unacceptable. He said that he would understand if I wanted to move out. I stayed because the sit was just a few days and there was a shower in the tiny workout room in the basement of the building. Andrew is a really nice person and I recommend this sit if the apartment is ready for visitors. I know that I left the place very clean on my departure.
