Ed and Luz were wonderful petsitters to have! They kept me updated during my trip and I came home to a clean apartment with some lovely fresh flowers. I felt completely comfortable leaving my pets in their care after our meet and greet. They stayed in contact with leading up to the sit as well. Came home to happy pets! I would definitely have them back again!
Michele and Sammie are really wonderful ladies! I only met with Sammie and I feel so lucky to have met her. She took me out for an amazing lunch at Salt & Stone and showed me a bit of Santa Rosa, which is one of the most beautiful places I have been to! They have a lovely house in a very friendly community, and you can see the mountains once you step off their front porch. I felt right at home there and Sammie was the warmest host. Their two Bengal kitties, Bo and Bessa, are absolutely gorgeous and so, so sweet. The kitties 'adopted' me right away and surrounded me with their purrs and cuddles! They were easy to care for and so much fun to have around. I loved exploring Santa Rosa, took a wonderful trip to Sonoma, and enjoyed working out at the nearby gym. I can’t recommend this sit enough and hope to be back!
I truly enjoyed my house-sit with Jessica and Loki in Seaside. Loki is a sweetheart, with a spunky personality. He mostly naps (he is the oldest kitty I've ever met!) throughout the day but also enjoys spending some time outside around the house. He surely will let you know when it is time for some Tuna or when he'd like to sit on your lap to watch TV with you! I absolutely love the house, which is on a corner lot and has the most interesting floorplan (you'll have to see it to know what I mean!). It sits on top of a bit of a rise, so you can actually see the ocean in the distance from the front yard. I loved sitting in the private back yard together with Loki and also often headed to the 2+ mile-long sand beach about a mile or so away. Last, but most certainly not least, I absolutely enjoyed working with and getting ot know Jessica. She was extremely helpful and friendly and very well organized about the sit and typed up information and instructions. She also made herself readily available to connect with any questions I might have. This has been one of my most enjoyable sits and I would be absolutely delighted to get to sit for you two again!
I had a very good stay in Julie and Saki's house, which is very cosy and has good public transports (tube, overground, bus) nearby the centre of London. Saki is very sweet and easy to get along with. She takes her medication easily. Julie gave all the necessary instructions and communication was very fluid. I will go back there for sure!
Joanne and I absolutely loved our sixteen days at Jan and Ross’ in Lamplugh. The house and gardens were beautiful and Meg was a very loving cat. Jan and Ross were very accommodating, inviting us for dinner the day before the sit started and ensured we had everything we needed before they left. They we’re always available to email/text if we had any questions, and the neighbours were friendly and helpful too. There’s lots to do in the nearby towns of Cockermouth and Keswick, including the childhood home of William Wordsworth! We can’t recommend this sit enough and do hope to visit again!
We had such a lovely time staying at Edwina’s home and taking care of sweet Quita. We had a delicious meal with Edwina and her husband Jean-Luc the evening before they left. Conversation was effortless and we really enjoyed spending time with them both learning about their love for travel and world music. Edwina took us out to show us a few local dog walks that Quita likes which was very useful. The countryside around their house is stunning and we found many walks using the All Trails app as well. Quita took half a day to warm up to us. Eventually she was running around the garden with us and coming into our room in the mornings to say hello! She is such a calm and loving dog who we sensed prefers calm energy in return to match her temperament. Though, if you run around some fields with her you’ll find she can get the zoomies, which is fun to watch! Edwina was very helpful in showing us around the house and letting us know where everything was. The back garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to enjoy some meals outside in the sun. We would love to take care of Quita again someday!
