Anna was great! This is my second time having her sit. Very responsive, asked and set expectations, sent pics daily, and even washed the towels and sheets! My cats were fairly nonchalant when I returned which tells me they had a great time with Anna! :)
I really enjoyed the last two weeks i spent cat sitting for Kari and Paul's lovely cat, Quentin, who is an adorable gentle natured soul who is incredibly laid back and affectionate and playful also, and he would often sit on my lap or snuggle up next to me purring away which was very endearing. Quentin spent most of his time indoors napping on the sofa or on the bed or sometimes in the laundry bag or following me around the house as well as enjoyed spending short wonders around the back garden, and like many cats, he loves his Dreamies and would come running when he hears the cupboard door to his supply of treats opening! Communication was very easy with Kari who also sent me a useful welcome document and i also had a very helpful handover before the sit started, where Kari and Paul showed me around their lovely cosy home which has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the area is also really great with many nice cafes, an outdoor market and a good selection of shops, supermarkets and interesting historic buildings and places of interest close by, and its just a few minutes walk to Greenwich Park as well as being about a 10 minute walk to the iconic Cutty Sark ship next to the Thames and Cutty Sark and Greenwich DLR and over ground stations for easy access to the city as well as many bus routes a similar distance away. All in all i thoroughly recommend this sit and i would love to return if the opportunity arises again in the future, and many thanks to Kari and Paul for giving me the opportunity to cat sit for your lovely kitty, Quentin.
Susan & Zack were very well organized as they explained their condo & introduced us to their 3 pups. We arrived the day before their departure, and were treated to a seafood dinner on the balcony with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. During our stay we enjoyed their spacious condo, particularly relaxing & reading on the balcony. Their fun, well behaved pups were the highlight of our stay. When we left we joked about taking one of the dogs home to Memphis, but couldn't choose among the three. We also guessed that our hosts might notice a missing dog. Would love to be invited back for a return sit!
This was my first time to New Zealand and i was very fortunate to be able to take my daughter with me and we could not have had a better home and pet sit. We loved it.. Jo & Johnny were fantastic, making us feel really welcome and relaxed. They are lovely people, their home is very clean and modern and well furnished, the location and the lovely friendly dogs and cats also made the stay extra special. Jo mentioned that we would be no more than 20 minutes away from all the attractions that Christchurch has to offer and we certainly made the most of the touristy things and were able to travel out almost daily and visit something new. New Brighton and region has the most stunning dog walking routes including beaches, forests and hills. So many beautiful open spaces for the dogs to run around freely. Two cars were available for us to use throughout the stay and that was a huge benefit. We had no issues during this sit and look forward to be able to return at the earliest opportunity.
Lucy and John were so kind and welcoming, both of them and their pets were all very chill, which made it a very easy stay for me :). The pets are all older, so very easy and set in their own way. Nooky mostly is on his bed during the day, but always perks up for food and walks, and he will occasionally come over during the day just to say hi i see you and i'm happy you are here. The cat loves to be outside, and will wander around and will come back as soon as you call her. She is pretty independent and is sleeping most of the day, but sleeps as closly as possible to you during the night. Mr. Buddy has the most energy, he loves pets and will entertain a few rounds of fetching. They were all very easy to take care of. The house has incredible views, and is very close to the station about a 15 minute walk, but they kindly arranged to pick me up and drop me off from the station both times, which with my bag I really appreciated. Lucy also kindly had dinner ready for us on the first night which was so kind, and also let me stay a bit longer since it was a short stay, so they really went above and beyond. The town is pretty quiet which I enjoyed, but you are also an easy train ride away to Salat, and driving distance to a lot of great places. They also have a lovely view from the backyard and porch which I enjoyed with a glass of wine. I would happily come back! Thanks again!

What a great stay! Bear is such a fun, sweet dog. He was easy to care for and was such a great companion. Bear lives in an apartment with his human parents that has amazing views of the city. I was also able to use the amenities the building had to offer and they were awesome! Mitchell was easy to communicate with and was available via text throughout the sit. I would definitely return to watch Bear again! Highly recommend!
