This was my very first sit with Trusted Housesitters, and I'm glad I got to spend it with this little guy. Louie is a very sweet little senior dog who enjoys going for his walks and having you hang out with him in the house while he takes a nap or two….or three. The house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is not far from the Santa Monica Pier and other attractions.
Daisy is a gorgeous, well behaved dog that got along so well with our own dog, Robin, so it was a dream to pet sit her over the Christmas break! Maria is also very kind, open-hearted and easy to communicate with, and her place was an idyllic getaway for us! All in all, a great experience and I would happily pet sit again :)
Rowena made me feel very welcome! She even picked me up from the hostel on my arrival day and took me to the ferry on the day of my departure! Daisy and Darcy are very sweet and well behaved dogs, I had no problems with them, everything went very smooth!
Looking after Pusscat and Patricia's lovely comfortable home was a pleasure. Pusscat is very sociable, loving and so loves being brushed. Communication before and during our sit with Patricia was very good and we'd be delighted if we got asked to sit again.
We had a wonderful stay with Julie and Andy's pack! We immediately felt welcome, they took the time to show us around in their beautiful house and the neighborhood. We couldn't have wished for a better welcome. The animals were so lovely to take care of too. The 2 poodles, Parris and Prince, looooove to be petted and have your company, they are such sweet dogs! Then we have Maddie, a smaller dog, who is adorable. If we could we would have taken her in our purse, a shame she doesn't fit in our purse (she loves her food to much for that) . The cats and the dogs get along so well, they have some special animals living there. Franky is the chillest cat you have ever met and then you have Sammie who is the complete opposite. Sammie is a funny cat who will entertain you by playing with everything, literally everything! Feeding the turtles with the whole pack with the beautiful view of their backyard, the mountains, is quite a remarkable experience! Julie and Andy really did a wonderful job by giving all these beautiful animals a loving home, this itself explains how they are, people with the heart on the right place. We would come back anytime! PS: a small warning, the place is super quite at night... danger to sleep extremely good/long ;)
This sit went so seamlessly, we were sad to go. Crystal and Justin welcomed me with open arms while Mia just went crazy lol. Her excitement was followed up with cuddles and kisses throughout our stay. However, she preferred Jason's presence over mine, she's generally very independent. Mia also endured a pretty scary accident so walks aren't a favorite for her but the backyard was sufficient enough for her to tire out and come back in for warm cuddles. Their home gave off a cottage-style vibe which kept us warm and comfy for Thanksgiving. We received all the family-loving we desired from Mia and her kindhearted pet parents Crystal and Justin. We'd happily return to care for Mia Tortilla, as the experience was simply priceless. ⭐️
