Beatriz and Rafa are great hosts and their condo is beautiful, I loved the views! Whenever I had any questions/issues they were always quick to respond. Also, can't forget about Pomom, she's very cute and loves cuddles!

We had a great Christmas at Elaine and Jackie’s place. Cassie and Roxie are a fun pair. There is a nice place nearby to take them for walks, and they love cuddling on the sofa. They are easy to look after as they spend half the day laying around.

The house is big and decorated in a colorful, unique style. The two fireplaces made it feel very cozy and welcoming in the winter. In the summer, the back garden would be a lovely place to hang out. We had a very nice and comfortable stay. Elaine and Jackie are lovely, warm-hearted people. We would definitely recommend this house sit.

We spent a delightful five days staying near Hungerford at Lottie and Jamie’s beautiful house with the adorable Puff and Popcorn.
Puff and Popcorn are a joy to look after and, other than Puff’s over-excitement with some TV action, they were extremely easy to look after and rewarded us with great cuddles. While Popcorn spent a lot of the day sleeping, she was always keen to join us and Puff on the daily walks around the local fields. The location offers so many walks in absolutely beautiful countryside. Over the five days we only met one other group out walking. Being able to wander with the dogs off the lead and watching them enjoy their walks was just how we like our excercise. Even when Puff gave chase after a rabbit, she was quickly back by our side.
The house is a picture-postcard thatched property, clean, comfortable with everything we needed. We stayed in the beautiful annexe which is located in the barn next to the house.
Lottie and Jamie were great communicators both before and during the sit. The information they gave was comprehensive. Everything we needed to look after Popcorn and Puff was well stocked.
We highly recommend this sit and hope that, in the future, our diaries allow us to return for a longer repeat sit. Very many thanks for allowing us to stay and look after your adorable pups.

Dona and I spent a fantastic 6 weeks of autumn caring for Zoots the cat in Keta's spacious home on the outskirts of Durango. While this was Keta's first experience with THS, her experience with home exchanges left her very well versed on assisting strangers transitioning into her home. She sent us a complete welcome manual and had a hard copy at the house to refer to, she left plenty of open storage space for our things in the kitchen, bedroom and bath, and had sufficient cat food and the best kitty litter we have ever seen on hand. Keta also invited us to arrive 2 days prior to her departure, so we had plenty of time to transition to the house and area, ask any questions and to let Zoots get comfortable with us before she departed. Keta was kind enough to drive us around to many of the nearby hiking trails as well as to lead us on a short hike. She also left a list of must do trails. Communications were easy using WhatsApp and we were able to send pictures of Zoots relaxing with her new sitters. Durango is a very pleasant community in the mountains of southern Colorado with plenty to do ...especially if you are outdoors oriented. Keta invited us to stay over the night of her return, so we got to hear all about her trip to the Spanish Basque Country and beyond, and to spend time and get to know a new friend better. Zoots was an interesting and affectionate girl to be with. She slept with us every night in Keta's large king bed and curled up on one of our laps for TV or reading time in the evenings. All in all, a great time and a sit anyone would enjoy. Thanks, Keta. We'll stay in touch!
